Although I havn't got the game yet, being a non-Americn pc'er, someone at IGN does. He put up a scan of a page of the manual and I could make out some interesting info on charisma. Apparently charisma will now reduce the penalties for using a force-power of the opposite allignment. So if you are lightside and want to use choke you can reduce the point cost if your charisma is high. Also charisma apparantly increases your partymembers chance to hit. FINALLY SOME NEW INFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I guess we need to think our starting stats more carefully, with intelligence and charisma being so important now, whereas in KOTOR you could just set them at 8. Lets hope we can get something from lucasarts on their site.

I suppose that depends if the film is any good. But from the trailer it looks like it will be.

Nothing!!!!! I uninstalled all my games so I can actually get some work done before Christmas. Why do games need to be so distracting? I can't trust myself to play for only 30 mins, always ends up being 3 hrs. :">

How much control do you think we will have when we get an apprentice? I assume that we will have another cut scene like in KOTOR where several weeks pass by with the jedi training. Then we just level up disciple or handmaiden in their new jedi class. So how much of a choice would we get in the training? As master we should in theory get to choose their class as we would train them as we see fit. However obsidian may be going along with KOTOR's one of each class idea, Kreia as consular, some-other-jedi as guardian and apprentice as sentinel. Would we get the apprentice with all low stats then get a certain number of points to distribute? That would make sense as we could spend the training period getting them to life weights (strength), meditate (wisdom) or do acrobatics (dexterity). And I assume we'll get to choose what feats they've mastered, though we may only be able too chose a few. What do you think will happen with the apprentices?

You very cruelly got my hopes up. I really thought we'd been given something new.

Well the real Sypha Dias was killed and someone used his name to order the army. That's the impression I got from the film. Apparently Lucas will clear this up in episode 3. He'd better or he'll have even more angry fans after him.

I'll probably have one jedi and one non force-user. Probably Bao-dur if he has good skills.

Saul: "The other gameing markets are defenceless against our assult my lord. The PC version is in ruins. They are offering no resistance." Malak: "Resume the bombardment Commander. Wipe every other pathetic console from the face of the galaxy.

The cutscenes were great and hopefully will be even better in TSL. Though hopefully we can have the option to skip the cutscenes this time. I got annoying having to listen to Malaks speeches for the tenth time.

You must find the cause of the darkness." *In the ancient grove we find Juhanni playing on her x-box* PC: "Who are you?" Juhanni: "I am Juhanni. And this is my x-box." PC: "You've been corrupting the gamers." Juhanni: "Yes they can feel the power of my x-box." PC: "The x-box is a tool of the darkside, it is corrupting all the gamers. I've been sent by the council to cleanse the grove." Juhanni: "The council sent you to kill me?" PC: "I have no desire to kill you Juhanni." Juhanni: "But how can my masters take me back?" PC: "Turn away from the x-box. Return to the PC, come back to the light."

My new apprentice is nearly ready. Once we add George Lucas and his 'star wars' franchise to our enormous company we shall be invincible. Then we can begin our conquest of the gaming market."

KNIGHTS OF THE CONSOLE WARS The PC'er has avoided Gates' Sith troopers and has infiltrated the gaming store of Davik Kang....... Davik: "What do we have here? PC buyers in the game store? So you thought you'd buy the PC version for your gaming pleasure, and leave me high and dry when the x-box profits turn to dust? Sorry, but that aint gonna happen." Calo: "I'll take care of them. I've been looking forward to this for a long time." Davik: "Make it quick Calo Darth Gates means business. If we don't make more x-box sales soon he'll kill us all."

No I have a DVD drive. It's just that a lot of pc's still don't. They are cheap now, it's just that why should people be forced to buy a new drive as well as the game?

Let me guess. Lucas got the idea from his master Darth Gates. This is another ploy by Darth Gates to make less people buy the PC version. Or to punish them for not buying an x-box by making them have to buy a dvd drive.

CONSOLE WARS It is a happy time in the gaming community. Tommorow is the day of release for the PC version. A happy PC gamer has just visited a computer store to buy new PC upgrades to fully enjoy the 'Sith Lords' experience. Little does the PC'er know that upon leaving the store he will have an unplesent encounter........ Darth Gates: "Welcome young gamer. I have been expecting you. PC'er: "Your overconfidence is your weakness." Darth Gates: "Your faith in the PC is yours! It was I who allowed the stores to release the PC version. An entire legion of my best troops man the tills. Oh I'm afraid the X-box version will be the only one available when your friends arrive."

CONSOLE WARS THE CONTINUING CHRONICLES AT Lucasarts headquarters. Rows of Stormtroopers line up to greet the arrival of the sith master. Darth Lucas kneels to greet his lord...... Darth Gates: "Rise my friend". Darth Lucas: "The sith lords will be completed on schedule, for the x-box." Darth Gates: "You have done well Lord Lucas. And now I sense you wish to continue your work on the pc version." Darth Lucas: "Yes my master." Darth Gates: "Patience my friend. In time when my profits are high enough you may publish it. And when you do you will bring it before me. I will ensure there are no extras and my x-box sales will increase." Darth Lucas: "As you wish master." Darth Gates: "Everything is proceeding as I have forseen. HAHAHAHAHAHA"

Obsidian exec: "I assure you Lord Lucas my men are working as fast as they can." Darth Lucas: "Then perhaps I can find new ways to motivate them." Obsidian exec: "I assure you we will have the PC version completed by December." Darth Gates: "Darth Gates does not share your optimistic appraisal of the situation." Obsidian exec: "But we've almost finished it." Darth Gates: "I hope not commander for YOUR sake. Darth Gates is not as forgiving as I am." Based on a true story.
