In kotor we got some background into the mandalore wars. The republic was getting its ass kicked untill Revan showed up, turned the tide, fought the mandalorians to a standstill and then started pushing back. the republic emerged victorious in the war. Yet in TSL it seems the opposite happened. at the last battle the repubic fleet at malachor was outgunned and nearly defeated and they activated the mass shadow generator as a last resort because they knew they would lose. almost the entire mandalorian fleet and a good deal of the republic fleet was crushed at malachor, hardly a great victory, more an arrogant "if we won't win we'll use the planet to destroy the both of us" attitude from the exile. so in TSL it seems that even with revan and the jedi, the republic forces weren't able to win in a real sense. waiting untill your forces are reduced to a few ships and then effectivly blowing up the planet when the enemy has really won the fight doesnt seem honorable or fair. even the game says 'the atrocity at malachor was worse than anything the mandalorians commited during the war'. So much for the jedi being good, they commit mass muder of everyone just out of spite. They had lost the battle but blew the crap out of everyone anyway. so did obsidian rewrite the war to make a better story? If like KOTOR suggested the war was won fairly easy then there would have been no need to blow up malachor. and where was revan when that battle happened? bao-dur said he was delayed by mandalorian scouts, but the leader of the republics fleet should have been present at the last battle. another inconsistany, as in KOTOR it was made out like revan led the republic to victory, but TSl says he wasnt even there at the pivital last battle.

Animals are way smarter than you think, and they take the piss out of you. I noticed a wasp flying around the windows. So I pulled thge blinds down to trap it. and to make sure the wasp knew this i said "you wont be getting put of that will you?" The thing then crawled under the blind and flew right in my face, as if to say "i proved you wrong didnt I?". Then the bloody thing turned around and flew back under the blind! That was freaky. like it understood what I was saying and was taking the piss out of me!

Or worse when your with a group of your friends and they all start chatting to this guy you meet, and they all know each other but you have no idea who the guy is. But you feel like you should know him.

What made Vader a good villian was the way he would come up with a good one-liner as he's choking someone to death..... If this is a consular ship, where is the ambasidor? I find your lack of faith disturbing. You have failed me for the last time. Apology accepted captain. These were lacking in KOTOR. When Sion cut of Kreas hand he could have said "I seem to have disarmed you." ( cut up her arm) or "Your hand in my destiny is over" So what good one-liners could a Sith say? What ones can you come up with?

In ROTJ when Leia pulled out a thermal detinator in jabbas palace everyone in the room covered their eyes and cringed in fear despite the fact that most of them were standing on the other side of the room. From this reaction it seems that a thermal detinator is capable of blowing up an entire room or a small building. Yet in all the star wars games, the thermal detinators are nowhere near that powerful! in kotor one of them is not enough to kill a bunch of guys standing right next to each other! So have thermal detinators got an adaptable payload? Were Jabbas thugs a bunch of wimps? Was this adapted for gameplay? Or has Lucas displayed yet again that he has no sense of continuity? But yeah KOTOR would be pretty easy if all the enemies in a room could be killed with one grenade.........

Why? Is he the only one who's done it?

We all remember Twitch the dueler of taris from kotor 1. When you speak to him he seems demented. the converstation went something like this.... Twitch: bang bang pc: are you a dueller? Twitch: shoot fast. twitch faster Pc:are you insane? twitch: shoot them. bang. pc: goodbye then. twitch: bang bang This was quite funny/disturbing. Then in TSL at the iziz canteena there is another rodian, this one likes swoop races Rodian: swoop? pc: yes im a swoop pilot Rodian: swoop fast. pc: er yes they are Rodian: i watch all races. swoop fly pc: thats great. im going to stand over there now... that was funny, especially the last line. we've all used it. so why is it always rodians who are too obsessed with their sports? is it a species trait. or did obsidian just want to mirror a conversation from the original KOTOR, so that people who played the first could have a laugh?

they could at least of added a pattern on the crackers themselves. This is just a new box. And i bet it costs more too........

Fighting a Cannok on Telos one of them proved that they are not to be taken lightly. They may appear to be dumb animals but they are apparantly smart enough to use medpacks! One of them used a medpack on themselves and boosted themselves back to full health! I couldnt believe it! I know that they are considered 'the gizka of duxun', but they are smart if they figured out how to use medpacks..... and they have no fingers either. And why do they carry grenades around with them? You find a whole bunch of weapons on their corpses....... This makes the Cannoks more dangerous than Nihilus , he never used a health booster, nor did Traya for that matter...

He'll probably pass the time by remaking every film he ever made. Then he'll do it again. And again. And if he has time, maybe again.

Why is it that both ewoks and jawas have some common words in their language? In ANH when the jawas capture R2 one yells "i oo da'. (rough spelling ) in ROTJ when an ewok swings across the ewok villiage he yells the same thing.... Is this another example of George 'cheapskate' Lucas reusing sound because he couldnt be bothered to record new dialouge? (emperor scream used for luke)

You know he almost went nuts filming ANH Thats why he got a director for ESB.... Maybe he never truley recovered............... :ph34r:
