Well there is Vampire the masqerade-Bloodlines coming this month. Though thats a first person shooter/ RPG. I may get that, but then I'm saving money for Battle for middle-earth in december.

What happened to them then? In the film it sure looked like he killed them, them clutching their necks and falling to the floor like that. Did he just stun them?

Choices at Beginning of K2
OrganisedChaos replied to Chris Avellone's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The darkside ending of TSL should be better with all your evil party-members standing with you instead of just Bastilla in KOTOR. They could have had Canderous as well, HK you could have never met and who wants T3 with them? -
Going back and playing KOTOR 1
OrganisedChaos replied to Tyrell's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I started a few days ago, even though I have to wait till feb. This time I'm using heavy blasters with Canderous and HK as blaster rifle back up. You can do serious damage with upgraded Bargarian heavy repeating blasters. And as I'm darkside guardian I get a +1-8 damage as well. I'm also playing as female just so I can kill Carth. 2 more starmaps and he's going down! -
There's room for more AIM icons and characters, planets weapons. Though Lord Lucas probably won't give us anything at all.

No class specific skills. Each class has class-skills that will cost 1 point and cross-class skills which will cost 2 points. Good list there. Though I wouldn't say the consular would have treat injury as a class-skill as they don't really go for up front fighting.

Okay in KOTOR all 3 jedi classes were lacking in the skills department, having very few points and class-skills. In TSL this has been updated, with the sentinel having more class-skills and 'significantly' more skill points. So what class-skills do you think can be matched to the 3 jedi classes? Things like Computer use, repair and security don't really seem 'jedi like'. As for the rest Computer use- none really Repair-none again, unless sentinel Awareness- all 3 had this as a class-skill in KOTOR Treat injury- guardian definetly Demolitions- maybe guardian, but they would use lightsabers rather than mines Security- sentinel? Stealth- guardian? Persuade-probably only consular, maybe sentinel Then how many skill points for each class? For sentinel to have 'significantly' more i'd imagine it something like: Guardian-2 points, Consular-3 points, sentinel- 8 points But would guardian be more skill focused than consular? Any ideas? Or answers from devs?

Most "Handsome" Sith Lord

Yet another Lucas continuity screw-up. His teeth didn't look like that in the OT, they were normal. -
So the Emperor has a lightsaber

Will there be different LS/DS mastery bonuses?
OrganisedChaos replied to Jeremiah's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hopefully the sentinel will get something worthwhile like a dexterity or defence bonus. Since they don't really care about strength or wisdom this seems possible. A guardian would really have more use for constitution as they do more fighting. -
The Official Akari Thank You Thread
OrganisedChaos replied to jaguars4ever's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
They say that kind words are worth more than money. So thanks a bunch Akari. Now if all 5,518 registered members (so far) were to mail Akari $1, he'd be slightly richer. If we all gave him $5 he could get himself something nice. But since most of need all the money we earn, I guess you'll have to do with kind words. -
If he could be fitted with heavy weapons it would be better. But then he only has limited room.
-
On the website it says that when you have Kreia in your party all party-members gain an experience bonus. How large is this bonus? Is it an extra 10 points per kill, or an extra 20% or a 3rd increase? How does it work?
-
I hope not. Unless it's the American only X-box version. Doubt it though.

Now that we have some info on the characters and their abilities who do you think sounds the most usefull character so far? Who do you think you will end up using in your party most often. When and if we get more info on other characters we can make better judgements. But untill that time we'll have to go on what info we've got. (Very little, thank you Lucasarts! )

The fly-by video makes it look a lot better. Now we just need to know who the masked figure at the end was.

If HK-50 is on Peragus with Atton maybe it stands for Homo-Killer. It would explain why Atton is in a cell-he locked himself in to avoid being culled. But I'm sure it's Hunter-Killer. Works for submarines why not droids?

At last a worth-while poll! Okay, in KOTOR you could be the Scout class which gave you the 3 implant feats for free at certain levels. Now that in TSL you will be a jedi class from the start it means that if you want implants you will need to spend 3 feats. In KOTOR the best implants gave +5 dexterity or +2 health regeneration. But in TSL are these worth spending 3 feats on when you could have master flurry or another combat feat? Of course TSL may have some new and improved implants to try and balance this out. But you may need to play first to see if they are worth getting. So on your first game of TSl will you use implant feats?

The Fate of Tyrell...
OrganisedChaos replied to jaguars4ever's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
To be honset did anyone expect any other kind of answer to that? -
I know that! I mean if you are in combat and are half wounded, you could use a med-pack to heal yourself but miss an attack or keep attacking because even if you get knocked out you rise again anyway with the survival instinct.
-
Lets face it who would want to romance Sion?
-
Do we get to choose a special power at the start? Survival instinct would be the most usefull as you can focus on fighting rather than stopping and healing.

That was a wide variety of questions, very interesting. -
Knight Time for the Sith?
OrganisedChaos replied to Craftsman's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Most likely you will need to kill the sith lords either way, either as enemies or rivals. Darkside could have you standing in the senate on Corrisunt, killing the chancellor and forcing all the senators to bow before you. -
So the 3 sith lords: Sion, Nihilis (Masked Guy) and the female one. Each Sith Lord represents one of the 3 sith prestige classes. (Lord, Maurader, Assassin). So which Sith is which? Looking at Nihilis he looks like the Lord. Just with the mask he looks like having Revans job. Sion at first glance looks like the Marauder, being immune to most pain anyway. Although it has been said he is the leader of sith assassins- so is he the assassain class? He doesn't seem very stealthy. I think you would notice if a zombie guy was creeping around (Then again Shaun of the Dead didn't notice them. ). Would this make the female the Maurader? I'd imagine the female as the assasain or possibly the lord rather than being an up-front fighter. Or could Nihilis be the assassin? Most assassins hide their faces and he does have a mask and a black robe to blend into the shadows. Although that white mask would atand out a bit..... So Which Sith is Which? Marauder  Assassin  Lord
