Now we can all tell the difference between a Wookie and a Rodian and Bith (If you don't then what are you doing looking at a Star Wars game forum? ) But if you walk into a cantina how can you tell the difference between Humans, Mandalorians, Echanni, Naboo and corellians (and possibly others)? They all look the same, ie they are all played by Human actors with no make up (as far as we know at least ) So in the Star Wars universe if say in a bar fight someone tries to intimidate you by saying they are Mandalorian how would you know they really were? What if you wanted to fight some weakling Naboo but ended up picking a fight with some hard nut Echanni warrior? In the cantina on Mannan the Iridorian mercenary says "I'm not for hire, you might try the Mandalorian or the Echanni", How can it tell what species they are? It could have been 2 Mandalorians, or 2 Echanni, or even 2 Humans. Just think how confusing the Mandalore wars must have been, both sides could have sent spies into the others camps and noone could tell the difference. Makes you think.......we could have aliens amoung us

What's bigger Star Forge or Death Star
OrganisedChaos replied to Darth Reven's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Anyone else notice that when the second death star was blown up the rebels seemed to have more capital ships than they started out with. When the milenium falcon flies away you see the backs of many capital ships. Whats going on And why didn't the imperial fleet which still outnumbered the rebels carry on the attack and destroy the rebels? Where did they go? Did they just fly off? -
Star Wars Customizable Card Game

Remember pogs? Tazoo's? And those face-shaped things you flicked? Tamagochi? All those phased where school kids would spend money on them, then they stopped and you were left broke. -

Empire Strikes Back- the fight inside cloud city, where Luke got his hand cut off. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bah s*%& you mean I was wrong oh well never mind I think I was about 12 the last time I saw the old trilogy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You may not necessarily be wrong......... There's only another month (more or less) untill the new edition dvd comes out. And the way Lucas has totally mixed up the trilogy I really wouldn't be suprized if the Death Star ended up in ESB. We shall see....... -

Some of the sith conversations were more childish "Well if it isn't the freak from the colony. Hello freak" - Shardain "Get lost nerfherder" -Revan Not what you'd expect from the sith acadamy, maybe at playgroup... -

Also to the Sith governor on Taris "I'm going to enjoy gutting you!" That was a good one. -

There was also the line to the Duros you meet on the unknown world "It's not usually like me to crush insects like you, but I'm bored so......" -

I hope this happens as well, although I did enjoy using the lines "How much will you pay me not to kill you." B) -
What's bigger Star Forge or Death Star
OrganisedChaos replied to Darth Reven's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It's hard to judge on size alone, mass is more important. The star forge had a huge ammount of empty space for it's finished ships to fly in. Part of the Death Star was empty space as well- the power core for example was in a big empty cavern. And why oh why did the emperor design his throne-room with a big pit in the middle of it? It was an accident waiting to happen, sooner or later someone would have fallen (or be thrown ) down it. And why does Lucas always have his people fight near a huge hole- TPM-Maul and Obi-wan fight near a huge hole that served no apparant purpose ESB-Luke and Vader fight in that huge center hole that Luke jumps down. Are the interior designers of the future that ignorant of health and safety -
What do you think of Darth Sion?
OrganisedChaos replied to Retnuh's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
IF we fight him several times in the game then he must be an interesting character. He looks more of an in-your-face evil who is active in the affairs of assulting the republic, whereas MSG looks more like Sidious-overseeing events and not really revealing himself untill nearer the end. -
Yeah sci-fi are back stabbers! They had nothing to do with Farscape's resurrection, but now it's back they are claiming all the credit for it! This is a quote from the sci-fi chairman about why they are showing the mini-series "Well it was offered to us at a price we could afford." Greedy corporate ******** They won't spend large amounts of money on a quality show loved an average audience, but spend smaller amounts of money on crap shows with massive audiences. They only care about the $!

Having a question answered by the devs is like waiting for a bus. You get no answers for a while, then loads turn up together. -

How do you want them to do it? Whips, Rack or a good old style beating with sticks? :D -

A name for the masked sith guy. So long as it is a decent evil one- something worthy of the sith  -

I recon that charisma will have something to do with it- maybe along with persuade. -
Which class combination?
OrganisedChaos replied to Darth Sun_Tzu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I may actually go for sentinel/watchman- IF sentinel is more balanced and allows me to be an okay fighter. I like the idea about sentinel having far more skill points than the other classes. It's something to make it worth having this time round. -
Does anyone have any ideas of how party-members respect will work. We know that party-members will change their opinion of you as leader and that this can be modified by completing their individual quests. Will we have a 'grand theft auto' type respect-o-metre'? Will charisma afftect how much they like you? Will a warrior be dissapointed if you choose the diplomatic path rather than a fight? Will persuade skill be used? Any ideas? Or any answers from the devs?

I like the trailer I just hope they can finish the story this time (ie an ending where the main characters aren't dead). It was such a shame that the great Farscape died after only 4 brilliant years, when Stargate sg-1 continues into its 8th year and how now turned crap. SG-1 should have died after 5 years, the quality has dropped so much.

The Krath Still Alive And Well On Onderon?
OrganisedChaos replied to Dead Skin Mask's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It would be interesting and add a bit more depth, but it may be unlikely. -
Like how Canderous would answer with an agressive "What!", whereas Carth would say "Yes" in a softer tone.

Ed Asner ........dont worry ive never heard of him either <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nor have I, but apparantly he's a so-called 'celebrity'

The Neverwinter one is probably only in the planning rather than developing stages with the programmers still focusing on TSL.
