I would love it if the SF was nothing more than space dust. How it got that way I am not sure, I just want it gone from the game. Its not that I didn't really it, its just since this is a new game I don't want to have the same plot hook that was in the old game to drive the motives behind this game.

Either he was painted, or Revan decided to chrome dip HK so he could be more blingin'. Its also possible that the lighting could be changing the colour of HK in the Pict (doubtful but possible). By that reasoning then why would Kreia be there? I mean she should then have a name like old lady #1 or something to that effect. There should only be a few characters onboard the Hawk so it kinda narrows down as to which droid it might. Maybe if by the grace of god a dev could clear this up. -

Stargate: 2000 replied to Stargate: 2000's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
it has been confirmed and refuted by a couple of reveiws so far, XBN, gamespot and OXM all said HK-47 would return but there was the one from austraila that said that it was HK-50 so right now its not impossible that that is HKs body. Also its never been said (as far as I know anyway please correct me if I am wrong on this) that HK will be able to join the party in TSL, the only thing we have to go on is theory so far since he only mention of HK has been about an HK model making an entrance on Peragus station. But just because he is dissmantled it doesn't mean that he couldn't be put back together (like C-3PO in empire strikes back on cloud city). I still say it does look like him though I could be wrong, but the fact that the pic is suppost to be on board of the Hawk it would only make sense that it IS atleast an HK model droid. -
If you look in the circled area of the pic you will see what looks like an HK model body dissmantled. Do you guys and gals think its possible that we may have just found out what happend to HK?

Way to go with the find! your getting pretty good at this! -
so then there is no real basis in fact only one persons theory. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well, he said he read it in a preview <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But since no one else has mentioned seeing it, and no one from Obsidian or LA has confirmed it, and we all know that mags have been wrong before. So even if it was seen in a magazine then its entirely possible that who ever wrote the article was flat out wrong. I choose to belive that unless someone with first hand knowledge like a dev says it, or multiple people on the boards see it, then it isn't right and someone was just trying to create a stir (which may or may not be the person who posted it... more than likely not the person who posted it since XBN was apparently wrong with HK-47 returning on Peragus).

Colour of lightsaber
Stargate: 2000 replied to waiveddreams's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
In truth there are a number of dead zones in the human brain which to date nuorolgists(sp?) can't understand what they do, at best they guess that at one time they were used for somethig that is no longer relevant. As to meausring the ammount of brain being used while not percise enough to say that joe uses 3.21% of his brain and suzie uses 9.25% it can gauge roughly the amount by studying how active the brain is while performing mental tasks such as figuring out mathimatical problems, or doing art work. And while the Human species is in a constant state of evolution so its not impossible that while we wont be able to do anything like what we see in starwars anytime in our life times its not out of the realm of possibility that sometime in the not so distant future (exspeacialy with DNA modification on the horizon - also by "not so distant future" I mean in the next 500 years or maybe more) that it could be possibile. -
What's with the amnesia?

thats right, I remember now Akari said that during the last final Weekend Developer thread. -
so then there is no real basis in fact only one persons theory.

Has a dev or someone from LA confirmed the walking carpet yet? Because I keep wondering why eveyone keeps putting it in their lists of party members if it hasn't been confirmed yet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It hasn't been stated at this forum, but i think that it was mentioned in of the recent interviews, (IGN perhaps?) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> by anychance could you provide a link please?

Colour of lightsaber

umm.... who says the laws of science as we know them are correct from the prospective of the univerese? I mean for a species that only in the last 100 years managed to split the atom, whos to say that we aren't wrong on alot of things? I know there are going to be people out there who are going to say because science is infalable, well thats not exactly true because it was created by humans and as such is inhairently(sp?) flawed. Humans have a tendency to rule out or dissmiss entirely what they don't understand. While I am not saying that a lightsaber is possible right now but who says it couldn't be in another 1000 years? Another thing is the adverage human only uses between 3 and 10% of the full potental of their brain, meaning that its entirely possible that someplace in our brains lies the possibility to do such acts (move objects, crush thing, shoot lightning with our thoughts), just at the present time we are either haven't reached a highenough evolutionary level or have already lost the ability to access thoses parts of our brains. -
Planet/ship comparison
Stargate: 2000 replied to Carth Vader's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Since Onderon and Dxun are listed as one planet on the offical site I think we are still missing atleast one planet and maybe one or two areas (i.e. something the harbinger or citedal station). -
I had the same problem. KOTOR was my first real cRPG I'd ever played, and getting used to what I had to do and what these "dice rolls" were meant to do took a bit of time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I also had never played a CRPG before so I was in the same boat as you guys. Hell I think it took me something like 10 hrs on my first playthrough to beat taris but then agian I was tlakign to everyone and checking everyroom and running around killing every bad guy on the planet.

Colour of lightsaber
Stargate: 2000 replied to waiveddreams's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The only problem with that is (saying I am correct) dark matter has an infinite mass (or next thing too it) so it would be cool to use but no one could ever lift it! (w00t). As for a Black saber being possible, well I do belive that the only way to explain how you could create it would be to say by the power of the plot, if the plot calls for it then it shall be done. -
Don't forget that the enemies also get all these upgrades as well. So I think the game's difficulty will increase accordingly. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just to add to what GOA said; some of the enemies will scale along with the PC preventing a player from just walking through a level.

Stargate: 2000 replied to waiveddreams's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
whooooo, i thought that the black saber crystal was just a myth. could you only get that in the kotor 1 pc version or xbox 2? And has black been confirmed for knights 2? if you can get the black crystal someone plz tell me how <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The mod was for only the PC version since you can't mod an Xbox game. The mod is for the original KOTOR not KOTOR TSL, there isn't any mods yet for TSL that I know of anyway. -
***UNOFFICAL KOTOR 2 : THE SITH LORDS FAQ***
Stargate: 2000 replied to Craftsman's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Neither the HK model nore the wookie have been confirmed. Also it hasn't been confirmed that either Marr or handmaiden are going to be the apprentice. Another thing Onderon and Dxun are listed as one planet on the offical site and The silver armor guy has been comfirmed as beign THE Mandalore. So the new list sits as listed below. Planets: Peragus Station (A mining faculty) Telos (Carth's homeworld) Nar Shadda (Once was a place of luxury but turns into a criminal haven) Korriban (Sith home world) Onderon/Dxun (Jungle like planet) Dantoine (Remains of the Jedi academy) Citedal Station The Harbinger The Party: The PC Atton Rand (Carth like guy) Kreia (Someone similar to Joole but a girl) Boa Dur (Zabark with round metal robot) Mira (Female bounty hunter) Mandalore (silver aromor guy) T3-M4 Handmaiden Disciple Visas Marr's Villains: Darth Sion (He looks like he's about to fall apart, we know you encounter him on Peragus, in the sewers of Onderon, and on board the republic cruiser 'Harbringer') Darth Nihilis (Mask Sith Guy) Darth sith women (like the evil queen from snow white) New Force Powers: Battle Meditation Force Sight Force Clairvoyance Force Rage Force Scream Force Crush Master Heal Force Fury -
do you think RotS will be leaked...
Stargate: 2000 replied to Exar_Kun's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
There will be no intentional leaks because this is Lucas' baby and he'll want as much money out of it as possible. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ahh yes but you have to figure if someone knows that they are going to get the axe even an hour before they do then it would give them enough time to copy the movie and take it with them so they can put it on the internet befopre lucas has a chance to do anything about it. And since Lucas is having fun firing people these days its not out of the realm of possibility.
