Bethesda buys the Fallout IP from Interplay
I am thinking that it would be an extension of what Stalker could have been if they made it more of a CRPG than a FPS.

This actually sounds like a fantastic game, provided the game captures the atmosphere of Stalker rather than Oblivion. I agree it would. I think that might be something that Obsidian could work on with the new Unreal engine after the Aliens game.

That is another thing that needs to be fixed.- PS3 selling?
Nah. Sega Saturn had some good games before it died.- NWN2
Depends if the game is turn base or not, Meta. In Deus Ex, I jumped, shoot things, stalked prey, and so forth and so on in all in real time with button smashing. Just like any other FPS I have played.- Anniversary
Iraq has a neighbor named Turkey and Iran. So? If China gets pissy at us the US government could set up an embargo on all Chinese goods. No trade to or from China.- NWN2
Eh? If it plays like a shooter then it is a shooter. Deus Ex played like a shooter. A very involved shooter, but a shooter nonetheless.- What is the worst game you ever bought?
Journey: The Escape. Buggy Atari 2600 game that had a game stopping bug that you can never escape the first level. Even E.T. was better than that.- Bethesda buys the Fallout IP from Interplay
What I am expecting Bethesda's Fallout to be is like Stalker, but with character creation and stats that has very little to do with SPECIAL, and the third person toggle. Might be a good game on its own, but would make a terrible Fallout.- NWN2 News April 11th, 2007

Let them release it when they feel like it. If they want a bug free initial release then I say go for it.- whats wrong with my kotor 2??
Never use an Intel video card. They suck big time and never work right.- Anniversary
Oh, wait... North Korea doesn't have oil.- Party goes BOOOM!

Irrelevant. They would told not to have any and they didn't have any when we invaded.- Anniversary
The bottomline is that Iraq had no WMDs, the whole reason that Bush justified for the invasion, when we invaded. WMDs aren't really the issue any more anyway. The issue now is that should the US remain in a country in a middle of a civil war. I say no, we shouldn't. Its not our place to interfere in the development of another country, and we cannot even protect their government and people from this violence with the army we have occupying the country as it is.- DA Info
Its DnD and I already bought the main game so I might as well get the expansion. I expect more out of Bioware because they aren't tied to anybody elses' IP.- NWN2
Why? It is a good story driven FPS with good actiony bits. The only game that comes close to its style is Stalker.- Bethesda buys the Fallout IP from Interplay
Nice one. You know as well as I do that was on the BIS/IPLY boards and those died long ago. Suffice to say you haven't changed a bit in like 7 years. The thing is BIS did change what I would have disliked, what would garner a no -sale from me, about IWD2 prior to release. They did make the game acceptable and got rid of those stupid kits, the part of the game I would have hated and not buy because of it, from second edition. And once again Llyranor is being an ass without actually adding to the discussion. How typical. Besides, its not like I am clamouring that it must be 2D or strictly turn base.- Bethesda buys the Fallout IP from Interplay

I liked Act 1. Then again I like Act 2 and 3. Act 4... I am reserving judgement, but Act 5 will ROCK!- Party goes BOOOM!
Go for it! Just take pics of it for the "BEFORE" picture and post up the "AFTER" when everything is cleaned up.- DA Info
