That's because child abuse has victims. Who are the victims of gay marriage? Allowing blind people to drive would be dangerous. In what way is gay marriage dangerous? Sure, I think society needs a good reason for coming to that decision, you, seemingly, do not.

Than why ask such ridiculous questions? Lowering age of consent to infancy? What the hell?

What does "the way they put it together" mean? Did GoG need to put a whole lot of effort into including the FB? On the Fallout compilation DVD I've got there are some things like desktop wallpapers, maybe some soundtrack mp3s. The inclusion of such things doesn't make them an important part of the experience, it's just added extras, and people like added extras.

I don't think society should have the right to decide the issue, when the issue is denying rights.
  5. I'm too busy banging broads and making loads of cash to play MMOs. That is, when I'm not bench-pressing kirottu. PS: "Bench-pressing" is a euphemism.
  6. Before entering the space ship is the time to give up. Far Cry at least had some decent levels after the trigens appeared.
  7. You might have played it that way but it's not what the games "wants" you to do. Both Far Cry and Crysis allow you to go in guns blazing or take a stealthy approach. I actually think Crysis gave you more options when it came to stealth.

If only those silly gays didn't believe in marriage, this totally wouldn't be an issue.

If a wrecked, derelict, mutant infested, radiation bathed sinkhole of human corpses that is Chernobyl isn't special, than nothing is. You're describing a location, not the graphics.

Surely if there is one thing you can't accuse STALKER of, it's rushed artwork. Game was in development for a bazillion years. I kinda get what you mean though, the graphics are merely functional without trying to be anything special. Claims like that just make me think that people have very limited experience with the genre. Since when did Oblivion rank below Descent to Undermountain?
  11. I don't understand what you're trying to say. What does the death being either right or wrong mean? Probably a fair question. But i don't understand it. Can you rephrase? You said the death penalty isn't always wrong. What does that mean? The death penalty is not something that can be sometimes right or wrong. It's always right, unless later proven to be wrong. As taks mentioned, there's always a chance that someone innocent, or at least, not guilty enough, will get executed with most systems. So in my mind either you see the death of these people as being acceptable losses, thus the death penalty is "right", or you see their deaths as unacceptable, thus the death penalty is "wrong".

  13. I agree with Aram. Being against the death penalty doesn't mean you think everyone can be rehabilitated or you don't believe certain people deserve to die, and it certainly doesn't mean anything as ridiculous as you aren't in touch with your humanity.
  14. Posting from the future? Currently playing The Nameless Mod for DX.
  15. Also there is whether or not you , though I can't remember what quest that was linked to. Yes, which is what makes her a racist. She doesn't trust certain folks because they are aliens.
  16. Indeed. I caught up with an old school friend recently and he complained that there weren't many Aussies in the suburb he just moved into, it was mostly Asians. In my experience this is a pretty typical view here amongst white people, that if you aren't white you don't get called an Aussie. How are immigrants supposed to integrate when society constantly insists that they belong to some other group?
  17. It's only a marketing ploy if the choices you made in ME1 don't actually change anything in ME2, and until we play ME2 we can't know what consequences our choices have. If they have a significant impact on the path the game takes then it'll actually be quite a step up from what we usually see in games. Though given your views on Bio it's hardly surprising you'd take a glass-half-empty view.
  18. Pug, jug, fug?
  19. It's about bloody time they released something new. Of course the best thing about this trailer is the voice of Michael Ironside. There was talk a while back that he might not return. http://www.manofconviction.com The first bullet hole says: Restricted [ 05.20.09 ] and the second Restricted [ 05.28.09 ]
  20. Because it breaks immersion! The immersion will be broken. Is that what you want, to break the immersion? Why don't you care about the immersion? How does a human looking at an incoming grenade and going "uh oh, that grenade is going to land near me" and then dodging out of the way break immersion? Please explain. Beats me, it's not my immersion that was broken.

  22. So you prefer one art style over another, how its made isn't relevant. Artwork produced with a WACOM tablet isn't inferior to artwork produced with a pencil and paper. A cartoonish style doesn't automatically equal immature just as a realistic style doesn't automatically equal mature. And that duckbunny is an unholy monstrosity.
  23. Girls don't like it when you do that.
  24. Some pretty pictures of The Darkness:
