Well, not really: Josh twitter: these sidekicks are, in order from the first tweet: konstanten, ydwin, rekke, and fessina. bonteru and radora are dust in the wind. #rip It seems like theses are new characters. Whenever they have anything in common with first draft remains to be seen. Well, not really: It's entirely possible that they reworked the two sidekicks. There's already a few rogues, so, I can get them deciding to change that one. Radora seemed like a rather shallow character just from the description, so, they'd have to flesh out that character.

He didn't get killed off, just renamed. Also, Ydwin looks pretty serious in that art. For the stormfolk having reddish hair, I guess they decided to do something a bit different from the standard asian look. Anyhoo, looks like crew can get pretty seriously injured https://twitter.com/jesawyer?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor gonna take almost two months to recover properly. Also, if the crewmember were female, wouldn't 'helmsman' be 'helmswoman'?

Or too much drink. One of the updates showed that characters can get drunk and then barf because too much drink. Though seriously, Josh, you tell us about something funny like that which happened and no video of it? You do know the unspoken and often spoken rule on the internet is "screenshots/videos or it never happened", right?

Anybody else getting extreme lag after a few hours or a short period of time? Especially the Reapers Coast area, and gets worse the more the place is explored. Seems worse with recent patch......

Multiclass Names
smjjames replied to ghostwriter's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Being able to change the multiclass title would be a nice option, yeah. -
The character concept of monk/rogue rogue/monk (does it matter which one I start with?) looks like it'd be pretty good. The shadowblade feature makes it more ninja-like than the urban brawler type the concept is supposed to be, but still works. I don't have a specific ratio in mind and I haven't decided which skills/abilities I'd include, so, I'd probably just wing it. Streetfighter subclass for rogue fits themeatically, not sure what monk subclass I'd use, if I do use one, maybe shattered pillar.

As for my character concept of a rogueish monk (monk/rogue or rogue/monk), the shadowdancer bit with the ability makes it a heck of a lot more ninja-like than the concept is, but it's still pretty dang cool. I don't have a specific ratio in mind, so, I'd probably just wing it. Streetfighter subclass for rogue fits themeatically, not sure what monk subclass I'd use, if I do use one, maybe shattered pillar.

Transmaster for the transmutation specialist subclass for wizard is a... interesting subclass name. I don't have a problem with it, just an interesting choice of subclass name. Lol the mathing sequences. Awesome update. :D edit: How come Sister of the Reaping Moon is available for monk in the vid? Or is that just for testing?

Because high heels are elitist and Melania is the First Lady of the US, go figure. I don't think anybody here really cares about it anyway. Hannity was right to mock it because it's that dumb.
-
He's mocking the reaction over Melanias shoes anyway, which is legit and I think we can all agree that the reaction over her shoes was dumb. Sure, maybe she comitted a minor faux pas fashon wise, but high heels are her thing, it's nothing new. It's making a mountain out of a molehill, know what I'm saying. Then it goes on to a Seattle gun tax which I know nothing about and have no comment or opinion on.

Guesses for the rows: priest (fits with oracle and theurge) paladin or fighter... fighter? could be paladin.... monk (as mentioned previously, transcendant is monk/cipher) ranger (beastmaster is a giveaway) rogue (pathfinder and mindstalker could also fit ranger, but are appropriate for rogue as well) wizard
-
Isn't Transcendant a monk/cipher?, would fit with ascetic being monk/druid which would be a monk that is one with nature, living the simple life. *goes back to try and find that teaser of cipher multiclass names Josh teased* Hey Andrea! You haven't been updating the OP! edit: YEP! Transcendant is monk/cipher! https://www.instagram.com/p/BWyXIbQFAXU/?taken-by=jesawyer197

Pretty sure the heels thing was coming from both sides, not exclusively Democrat/liberal/the left/progressives. The guy appearing to facepalm or go "arg....." clinches it.

CNN says that's her pokerface look http://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2017/09/19/trump-reaction-shots-unga-orig-bw.cnn/video/playlists/united-nations/. I don't know what a 'confused plastic surgery stare' is supposed to look like, is it the woman behind her or the one next to her? As for what she's wearing, doubt she even lets Trump have a say in what to wear, looks like formal business attire to me. And I think it's extremely dumb to complain about her fashion. I know people will be people, but really?

Returning Items

Only if Obsidian fix bashing so that the Larder Door isn't objectively worse than a normal large shield. Technically there's no reason why a door wouldn't be worse than a normal shield. Well, besides the physical aspect of a door not usually meant to withstand weapon blows, unless you're talking about things a few inches thick. Would work as a makeshift option if you had no other option. It's there as a silly option because it's a freaking door. -
Sidekicks stories
smjjames replied to Seafarer's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Hopefully they do further flesh out Radora's/Randora's background because right now, it's only skin deep compared to the others. Ydwin is an eccentric Pale Elf animancer with a fancy for examining dead bodies and I don't know if the gruesome scenes part implies crime scenes or not, Bonteru is a Dwarven rogue with an obsession for catelogueing the various poisons in the Deadfire region, Rekke is a mysterious mariner rescued from a shipwreck who speaks no known language and 'looks odd'. Randora meanwhile, is... a somewhat nondescript drunk who can barely hold a job for long. The other sidekicks have more background to them than Randora does in the description alone. -
Save Transfer
smjjames replied to Dark_Ansem's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Apparently we can also build our own PoE1 endgame states, which sounds like a more attractive option than loading from a PoE1 save. -
So, we can build our own endgame state...... How the heck many factors from endgame state get carried over from PoE1 to PoE2?? I suspect that the building our own endgame state from PoE1 will be a more attractive option compared to importing a save from PoE1. As far as loading in files from someone else, are we going to have some sort of download repository for that? I had thought maybe Steam workshop, but not everybody is going to use Steam and PoE1 doesn't have a Steam workshop.

I accidentially killed the black cat thingy while trying to clear a poison pool, heh.
