Got back to Propast, actually seems to run a little better for me than Book 1. Marcuria was lagging in places. As before at this level of visuals it should be butter smooth but is not.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Dreamfall Chapters part 2 is out now a little early. http://redthreadgames.com/forum/topic/1415-kickstarter-update-79/- RIP Terry Pratchett

Battlefield has not changed since Battlefield 3. Still the same game. In fact from trying out the beta I think Battlefield 3 is better.- Journalism and bias in the gaming industry.
MovieBob and FullMcIntosh talk about video games. And it's just coocoo land... https://archive.today/eKBFh- White People: What They Say in Public vs Behind Closed Doors

They are both saying games cause violence. The sj critics are just going the long way around in doing so. According to them bad media raises bad people. Bad people do bad things. As far as their criticism. It's clear from the very notion of this social responsibility they put on entertainment that they simply will not be happy when anyone can find things that they like. No, for their vision to come to pass the media overall will need the "right" composition of elements. As a whole the media will need to be used as an education tool. They will not be happy otherwise.- Journalism and bias in the gaming industry.
You know what's really annoying? More and more I see these sj types defend themselves when compared to Jack Thompson by something like this, "Well I'm not saying games cause violence but they do affect attitudes." And attitudes lead to actions. So stop pretending you're saying something different.- Journalism and bias in the gaming industry.

The "existense"? Absolutely, I will defend the existence of bad fiction. Anita can say what she likes. But I will oppose her views taking over mainstream gaming press and games' writing. No... Just because I support something she dislikes doesn't mean I support something sexist. Who the hell made her the judge and jury?- Journalism and bias in the gaming industry.
It means I don't like it. There are many things I don't like that are not "bile filled crap". You quoted me saying I don't want Anita to influence media and game design. Then you said I don't want people to criticize 'bile filled crap'. So you think the content Anita criticizes is bile filled crap.- Journalism and bias in the gaming industry.

It's obvious from her attitude. What the else are you asking if you want this negativity towards the game in the review? "The game promotes treating the female gender as playthings for male amusement" -- But, no, totally nothing here is suggesting she wants the game to be marked down. So I want her influence nowhere near the media and gamedesign.- Journalism and bias in the gaming industry.

Good for Blizzard that Russians are white so no one will take offense at the only Russian woman in the game being a hulking brute. Oh if I were an SJW. I don't want less stuff. Here is a funny thing, a lot of the stuff I will defend tooth and nail I don't even like. For example I'm not a fan of the flamboyant sexualazation of characters that many games use when it makes no sense. But here is what I will not do: Call it sexist on the fact of my dislike alone. Demand it be changed. Call on reviewers to basically mark the game down (like Anita). I do want variety. I don't want taboos, name calling, and shaming tactics.- rip Boris Nemtsov
Russian media wiped the floor with opposition to the point where their popularity is barely a bleep. Actually regardless of whatever your favorite theory is it is fully believable they got the people who pushed the trigger.- Journalism and bias in the gaming industry.
I will take the smilie as an understanding of why you don't walk up to people and actually say that when they call their bottled water pure. And the 'everything is political' preaching is equally annoying. Everything has an underlying philosophy we get it. But just like pure water just means good water to most people, 'take your politics out of gaming' means stop spitting acid at people when dudes decide to make a big game about three dudes for other dudes to play. - RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
