  1. The New Hellboy looks like it'll be better than the trash that was the first two. This one looks to have vision at least, a supernatural/horror movie instead of a superhero/anti-hero story is exactly right. Add to that, Milla Jovavich as the female villain. Everything so far tells us this will be a REAL Hellboy movie. The Hellboy movie we always needed and still deserve.
  2. Stardock is having a sale on Steam.. All those space games. Too bad Steam's Halloween sale is right around the corner and I'm in a horrible mood (horror games ensue).
  3. What is a "Jeff"?
  4. THIS. IS. AMAZING. The only thing that's lacking is the voice but, this show is on point!
  5. So like I've been saying, Darth Vader and another Star Wars tv show are debuting soon. Like Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the writing will be far higher quality than the original trilogy, the modern trilogy and the disney tril as well. New light was shed on the tv show today. The new Star Wars show will be called "The Mandalorian" and here's what was said... (Info on pic). Also... https://io9.gizmodo.com/the-live-action-star-wars-tv-show-is-called-the-mandalo-1829508890
  6. For those interested in the academic paper, and not just the pretty pictures and highlight... "Ivory craftsmanship, trade and social significance in the southern Iberian Copper Age: the evidence from the PP4-Montelirio sector of Valencina de la Concepción (Seville, Spain).” I wonder what it's purpose was... Was it used to kill in battle by a high-ranking officer? Was it made as a celebritory piece? Was it made just to accompany the dead in the tombs as an honor piece? Was it some kind of key to a door? So many possibilities and yet only really one real question: What was it's true purpose?
  7. Well he is pretty old now, so that's more than likely the excuse. Besides that, everyone's body is different and handles such shock differently. Imagine the shock that the ody goes through years later in life, the negative symptoms aren't always bound to become visible within a year or two but it's all for the namesake of entertainment and making a living. Part of the job ad nothing more. It's pretty strange, it was reportedly far more dangerous for Lily Collins as young as she is, for her transformation. Though the weight loss wasn't as extreme as a loss/gain ratio, it had to do with hormonal structure of a young female body. It does make sense, and that's why I'd say other actors/actresses deserve just as much credit but what do I know? Surely, I'm just a fellow forum member
  8. I suppose that means that everyone would agree that if a lower budget indie film featured an actor/actress did the same exact thing as Bale, they still shouldn't receive the paise for doing such a "performance". Since I've seen this state of reaction on variable before on multiple accounts, I just wanted to share an example of one person who is also able to put on/lose weight on demand, namely the newest one probably being Lily Collins, I wouldn't say that it's not possible to see films such as "To The Bone" go unnoticed because it lacks the common methodical press exposure. If nobody knows what I'm talking about, here is the trailer. If you haven't seen the Netflix movie before, I recommend that you do. It's very good but it's an ultra low budget with even lower budget actors/actresses. Being based on a true story iirc.
  9. I believe Diablo 4 was teased earlier this year though can't remember exactly what was tweeted (I may be wrong but unlikely).
  10. Soma is a great example of a true non-happy ending. Transistor, Life Is Strange, Layers Of Fear, Pyre, Oxenfree... Idk there are so many games that I've played with sad endings lol Also....... Most horror games have sad endings, and tis the season.
  11. It's all part of the job, I don't think most people realize how many other actors/actresses were able to pull off such drastoc diet/weight changes (comparable to Bale) but they're there. Bale was just highlighted above the others for whatever reason.
  12. I'll see it just to support India Eisley.
  13. If this doesn't look impressive, I don't know what does. Darksiders art style never siezes to amaze me, in all my years of gaming, I've never seen anything like it. It's pretty much it's own unique thing. More news on the Harry Potter Rpg that is as big as Skyrim in scale. Think Witcher 3 but in Harry Potter world - according to the press.
  14. And... The most important game news/info of the day emerges Behold! If Harry Potter fans weren't already orgasming at Nagani's transformation. Additionally, Cyberpunk 2077 has been comfirmed to release next year, so looks like it won't be on next-gen after all (makes sense since it doesn't look like it would require next-gen power on any level). Like I said, most important game news of the day folks!! *Says humbly*
  15. Tis the season for a ghostly adventure
  16. The reviews are picking up again, the game is succeeding at a rapid rate.
  17. I loved Origins as well, because I liked the mercenary theme (We hire you number of villains to take out this new guy dressed like a bat, he's been a problem). I also liked the snow. Idk why it's the most hated in the community, weird. At times I like to return to Asylum, it's the smallest game but there's something quite charming about it (its not nostalgia but maybe something similar).
  18. That's the thing though, most of those were high discount sales for Witcher 1 and 2, bought on bug sales, just sit in the libraries because people don't want to play an infereior rendition of the Witcher. The answer is far too many copies being unplayed as they sit in stasis for eternity. So I wouldn't exactly count on the copies sold for a couple bucks or given free defining a relevance to the fanbase in correspondence to familiarity with the franchise. Either way, around 35 million copies have been sold in 3 years for Witcher 3, there is something to be said if the best-selling game does not generate the interest in the rest of the franchise. I also look at the interest judged by the achievements chart which staples in design of interest among players/owners which is the most accurate system since it's never outdated or wrong. I suspect by this time next year, Witcher 3 will have sold 50 million copies at non-discounts as people comtinue to hype Cyberpunk 2077, thus creating familiarity and interest in CDPR, while Witcher 1 and 2 interest continues to stay stagnant.
  19. Not only that, The Witcher series wasn't even "popular" until thr 3rd came out lol For those who say "The Witcher 1 and 2 had a fanbase, look at the sales" Yes, look at those sales. Literally 90-95% of The Witcher 3's buyers never even heard about The Witcher before the 3rd released, the vast majority still haven't even played or showed any interest in the first 2 because they were just average games. So why in the world should this guy get any recognition for something that didn't even take off til 2015? Without the third game, The Witcher fanbase would be nothing worth making a Netflix series for. The books and comics sales were even worse than the first 2 games sales so there's that to consider. CDPR deserves the glory since they put Witcher on the map in a way he couldn't/didn't.
  20. I agree that they did get annoying. However, the story is still a better and more original cyberpunk story than I've seen in any other Cyberpunk game. Finished it and the ending actually made sense too, besides the horrid interuptions and awful combat.
  21. I agree with Oner. He needs to let it go. It's just as petty as Kojima making some drama and whining about MGS. There are other people that need to eat. Essentially a Jrpg with city building, add mobile graphics to that. Can't go wrong.
  22. A bit of a Cyberpunk 2077-looking rip-off appeared on Kickstarter. They're seeking 600k and projecting for a year release on current consoles and pc. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/973007964/the-nothing-a-cyberpunk-rpg The Nothing - A TRUE Cyberpunk rpg with third person pov.
  23. If you haven't played it already, Arkham Knight is actually pretty amazing. Despite the hate that the poor pc version/port got, it's worth all the hype (they fixed it a couple years later) so posiitive credit to the programmers. If you've played the other 3 Arkham games, it's another reason to play Arkham Knight. Aside from that, rumors circulating within the company (Rocksteady) suggests the reason we haven't and aren't getting another Arkham game atm is only because they are working on a Justice League game, I suspect it will dwarf Arkham Knight (which has alot of content). They confirmed it wasn't because pc gamers were unhappy with the port, they basically said FU to the PC gamers with the grudge and deserve our support for that alone. We get what quality we long for and Rocksteady is/has been always quality Wolfenstein: The New Order is also good too, far better than the classics and Return To Wolfenstein (sorry commies!). I haven't played The New Colossus so I can't comment on that.
  24. https://mobile.twitter.com/RT_TheKnow/status/1039877249435152384 Eh... Where in that tweet does it say it was EA who filed the copyright claim? The fact that it was a clip from an EA game does not mean it was EA. As it's explained in the Ars article I linked, it's likely a bot flagging content which does not actually belong to the entity filing the complaint. And if you're tired... maybe just give it a rest. It doesn't and nobody said it did? But The Know did blame EA for all this, that's why the video wasn't wrong. It wasn't about who filed it but rather The Knows' response which overrode the commenter's responses. The Know being wrong doesn't qualify false news since the guy was just reporting what he had seen. ^That is my scapegoat/excuse at least
  25. https://mobile.twitter.com/RT_TheKnow/status/1039877249435152384 Eh... The video was reporting what The Know had said themselves, can't really fault them for not knowing what when they're just going by Ashley's tweets and what The Know is officially saying. Regardless, it looks like nobody lost a job, which is the most important thing. The Know will still be releasing news, just not on YouTube - to avoid any further embarrassment. So that's good, everybody wins I guess. P.S I was tired and still am, I don't always have the time to look at the comments, I'm not sure how that qualifies me as always posting about stuff without knowing what I'm posting, if you have seen any "false" news I've posted, feel free to share which posts they were exactly. That way a mod can delete them, thanks
