Interesting... but I never said popularity equals wealth or success through facts of life. Let me guess, you're going to argue with me that I did, I'll ask you where exactly I said it and you'll try your best to convince me that I wrote something that never existed - as per usual.

Wait... popularity equals IQ now? I honestly wonder which one is richer and more successful through facts of life.

Not sure lol I'd wager he has even more fans as voice actor for the Joker in Batman than he does as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars. That's what he's been doing alot of work in. He wasn't born for the role of Luke, anybody can play Luke but nobody can really do the voice of The Clown Prince Of Crime like he can hehe

My cat pounced on me today and managed to not only bring me down to my knees but her nails got caught under the skin (she hasn't gotten them trimmed in far too long so it's more my fault). I am sporting a few new deep scratches but it's all good, I'm the only one she plays like this with. I signed up for this, I much rather have this though than her get declawed. Her nails are literally her pride and joy. When trimmed, you can see her happiness and confidence dissappear.

I wabt this thread to drag on for as ling as possible even if it has no reason to. I said it before, this thread is just magnificent!

Ffs, you named 3 lower budget online games out of Microsoft's full catalogue which mainly consists of high quality games. That proves that not only what you said is only just a half truth but also generically trying to make Microsoft seem like the "evil corporation". I have no doubt that Obsidian will have almost the same exact freedons for creative concepts and ideas as they did when they were indie. Do you really think Microsoft is going to use them by forcing them to do something they wouldn't be good at or shell out a high budget to get something sub-par? I'd like an example of Microsoft doing this in years and how it stacks up against the margins.

I will definitely be buying this Day 1. Or I may just pee-odor it when it gets a cool collector's edition on console (consoles get all the good stuff!) Not only to support Obsidian but because I want the next big casual post-apocalyptic rpg. This should satisfy my hankering for a new fps-rpg hehe Please Obsidian give us some canvas bags with our collectors edition!!!!

Just a Thank You
SonicMage117 replied to Gizm0w's topic in The Outer Worlds: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
If you knew how to read the message attached to the warning point, you'd know it wasn't given for trolling. It's right on my profile, not too hard to find. It was given to me for "Abuse In Profile" and for comments that I quoted from an LGBT article, then Hurlshot reported them in desperation in hopes I would get permanently banned. Nice try though, trying to make me appear as a troll though you follow me around in order to disprove me any way you can, this was just another failed attempt. Have a good day! -
Well, looks like I was wrong. Obsidian confirmed in the rapid fire question video that 3rd person camera will NOT be availavailable in the outer worlds. That's a shame but since we are learning about Obsidian not wanting to compete with Bethesda games, makes sense. Would have loved a third person camera, Fallout 4 and Skyrim had some amazing animation work in 3rd person mode.

It aready more or less explained here... So it definitely won't be a Fallout killer or replace Fallout in the Post-Apocalyptic community as people expected but rather be it's own thing. That's probably why Obsidian said they hate when their fans compare The Outer Worlds to Fallout or genrally bashes Bethesda and Fallout 76.

How do you know?We know because of the gameplay shown for the latest and greatest beta build. It is not so hard to find now also, coupled with the new info from trusted sources like GameInformer who are advertizing the game. It's not a bad thing, it just is simplified Fallout in terms of some things here and there but there are a few new mechanics added as well.

The art style is completely different from Borderlands. It's basically Fallout with immense oversaturation.Interesting. I didn't say anything about the art style but in terms of color pallet and concept I'd say a good mix of Fallout and Borderlands equally, easy. Uhhh? When did I say cel-shading was bad? But sure, I'm the troll The color pallette is the similar but The Outer Worlds is far from cel-shading. Doesn't mean the colors are bad or can't be similar in flavor. Now I guess forum logic says things can't be similar based on different art styles hehe There's no need for anyone to take offense for someone pointing that out. To be clear I wasn't talking about the spraycan look either but more of color tone. We've already seen some of the spraycan stuff which is generically used in more modern post-apocalyptic games.

Bioshock Infinite, the best one of the trilogy and the only one with meaningful writing, atmosphere and characters. There's a reason why Booker and Elizabeth became iconic in the industry

Alita: Battle Angel I can honestly say it's the best adaptation of any medium that has so attempted an an adaptation in the first place. It's probably one of the better cyberpunk movies out there, glad I wasted money on it and happy to see the negative nancy's were wrong "10/10" from SM117 "Finally a proper Cyberpunk movie" -JustSonicThings "The haters once again prove themselves wrong" Sonic Says

You know I've never understood why so many found fault with where Luke Skywalker's story went. I find the idea of a man with unlimited potential failing when it matters the most, finding out everything he ever believed in was BS, then going off to live alone in some secluded rural place to be VERY identifiable. Yes, I think I can relate to all of that! It's Star Wars, either everything is so tacky to where you can see what's coming from a mile or the writing is so bad where you are just like "What?" Lol We'll always wonder why Darth Vader's fatgerly reveal was considered by some to be a plot twist, it was one of those "I saw this from a mile away" things. Baby boomer logic saw it as "Omg... Best thing ever!!!" I guess which is a shame considering how films in cinema not unlike Close Encounter Of The Third Kind was far better written - all whilist millennials and baby boomers blame Disney for screwing Star Wars up. Probably only keep up with the movies and nothing else

Pleasing a fanbase that expects everything to be the same throughout the ages is the problem but let's forget about Voyager and other Star Trek series which suffered from the very same things that Discovery suffers from. Is it really Kurtzman's fault? That said, My favorite Star Trek series will always be Shatner-Nimoy Original series so I'm not in any way defending Discovery because it's new. Over time, Star Trek has went a different route, Discovery isn't an extreme change that drastically happened, every Star Trek series that has happened since the original has slowly led up to this point - I'm talking about both movies and tv series. I do agree that it's cool to hate the new thing though, it's not really any different from rpg community hating on whatever rpg developed by a AAA company they don't like. Look at it this way, in "x amount of years" there will be a new Star Trek series and suddenly everyone who says: "Discovery isn't Star Trek!" will be saying: "Discovery was Star Trek, at least it had this, st least it had that" and will say that the new Star Trek show is the furthest thing from Star Trek. Style of substance? Again, my favorite Star Trek us the original series, the Star Trek series and movies has been slowly shifting to more style, Disvovery is just getting the lash out because of modern politics and the fact that it's cool to hate the new kid on the block with Social Media/Forums

Yep! I can see that as well, I don't think I'm very far in the main quest though, and I've only done one conquest battle thing (fought for Athens againat Sparta). While I'm getting alot of the side stuff done, I feel like I'm way behind in the actual story. Also, that minotaur side quest was absolutely hilarious!
