  1. But it’s nothing like MEs unless you refer to the mess that were Mako driving from ME1 - which is not exactly a flattering comparison.
  2. Which considering that OW2 is a major patch to OW1 is not very surprising. Blizz vowed a while back that Ow1 multi will be always compatible with OW2 - with game going free to play, I couldn't imagine it being any other way. Which also brings a question, why call it OW2 if there will be no distinction between the two.
  3. Hold on to your buttcheeks: Into the Breach get a free Advanced Edition upgrade on July 19th and comes to IOS & Andoid. It will be free for all Netflix subscribers https://subsetgames.com/itb_ae.html Edit: for a time being the only way to access ItB on mobile will be through Netflix subscription. There will be no standalone purchase for a time being.
  4. Faithless! StarCitizen will be like Starfield, but good. Finally, Starfield 5 will have a decent competition.
  5. Yes, of course. That’s what Yahtzee calls “Bioware face”. That’s pretty much a standard in any large game attempting “cinematic” look, without focus/budget to pull it off. Bioware had it (maybe with exception of MEs), Bethesda has it, now Larian has it.
  6. Stalker2 got an update during todays XBOX's extended showase (otherwiseit was devs talking more about projects shown two days ago - nothing that stand out to me). There is this potentially upsetting dev diary: And what I think is an opening cutscene: On steam game is listed for Decemeber 2023 release.
  7. Not much to discuss. CGI trailer from a studio I am unfamiliar with. If it is supposed to launch within 12 months it would be nice to see something more specific, though I know strategy games aren't lookers. Which reminds me, I have Humankind installed since it launched and I am yet to play it...
  8. NO! SIZE DOESN'T MATTER! IT'S HOW YOU USE IT!
  9. Those two very well summarize my feelings on the matter: In my opinion, in Elder Scrolls 3, 5 and Fallout3 (those are games I played) Bethesda wasn't able to create a game space worth exploring. I can't imagine how they can create multiple planets, not to mention 1000 that wouldn't bore me after an evening or two. I have played some overly big games - like Elite Dangerous, or recently (and currently on a halt) Elden Ring... but those games were fun to play. Starfield looks very janky, and this is some of the clunkiest dogfighting I have seen.
  10. I see. To me that announcement meant nothing beyond Avowed being a thing Obsidian worked on - Like many announcements in that presentation I treated it as XBOX showing off their recent purchases rather then actual announcements. Specifically Avowed seemed like devs have nothing to show beyond a very basic pitch - very much like later Outer Worlds2 CGI trailer, or ElderScrolls6.
  11. I don't see it that way - if anything I wish publishers/devs wouldn't advertise their games until they are close to release. See Bethesda - they tend to keep things to themselves until the game is at "coming together" point. I don't know how old Obsidian acted - unless you mean crowdfunding Obsidian, which is a very different thing. We are not source of fuding during development so Obs can focus on making the game, rather then keeping fans engaged throughout the development process. They are also in the position to do course corrections - something that PoE1&2 would greatly benefit from. I don't remember hearing much about other not-crowdfunded Obsidian games - especially Outer Worlds were roumored for a long time before being shown. And Avowed is larger still. Another thing is, that games like Avowed, Fable and Hellblade2 have a lot of importance to Microsoft - those will be first big budget productions made under Microsoft umbrella. A nieche unfinished cult classic just won't cut it. So far with Psychonauts2, Redfall, Starfield Microsoft didn't flinch from giving teams more dev time. I just hope everything is going alright there, as I really, really, really want Avowed to be good.
  12. It is still possible we will see something on a later date - like Game Awards.
  13. Recruited Sera - first impressions: I can't decide if she is my least favourite or the favourite Dragon Age companion. Did they try to make a ****ney elf? Edit. Lol I can believe they censored kockney
  14. No? None of the games I am interested in from the showcase are from Bethesda. Just wanted to releave@Keyrockrfrom having to post every trailer from the showcase.
  15. I definitely think that the title and artstyle will be those things that will hurt the game for being too smart. I struggled to find the game on steam due to a typo. It is an interesting title though.
  16. If no one responds you might want to try here: https://jesawyer.tumblr.com/
  17. Eh, they don't try to make an e-sport out of DIablo Immortal.
  18. It's not a disaster but I am getting a bit worried. Big project, new IP - it can take time. It is frustrating to not see anything after initial trailer, but it was also early trailer - XBOX showing off with stuff it has in works, without any of the projects ready to be shown. Bigger games can take a decent number of years to be completed and there can be changes in direction - it doesn't necessariily mean the game is in development hell. I am not too worried just yet - it's been known that XBOX got a lot of games to show off, and they focused on the next 12 months, with big releases being Redfall and Starfield. We haven't seen Fable, Avowed nor Hellblade - from Hellblade at least we got gameplay(?) or in-engine footage. I am disappointed, but didn't give up on the project just yet.
  19. Klei's new game. I used to adore these guys, but I just didn't connect with their last two releases (ONI and Griflands). At least they don't repeat themselves much.. which is a shame, I would love Invisible Inc.2.
  20. OH GOD! I FORGOT ABOUT KOMBI. And just like that I know the developer is Polish
  21. As someone who cares for this project not only because it might be a game I like, but an extention of an IP that I like - I am worried of course. I hoped that Obsidian had a pretty good idea of what they want to do with IP, though honestly reasons for reboots could be many. It is disappointed after constantly hearing reports that Avowed is progressing well. I am mostly disappointed because I genuilly expected to see Avowed today on the showcase. At the same time, like with delays, it is better to do a course correction, then release something fundamentally not fun. Good luck and my best wishes to the dev team. I shall be waiting for the news. If you want to scrap Avowed and do proper Pillars of Eternity3 I won't complain
  22. No, I wasn't. I will try not to go into panic mode now. Yeah.... Hopefully it will have more to do then Elite: Dangerous. Also cough, No Man's Sky, cough
  23. huh? Source? All rumors seemed to hint that it is progressing well.
