  1. Isn't it sorta un-sith like to be completely loyal and sacrafice yourself for your cause? If revan was more powerful than malak or was able to kill them, I'm guessing the sith would have pledged allegiance to revan or run.
  2. Yah, but the rest of the movie made me so dissatisfied (talking about ep 2 here) that I couldn't be happy with the ending even if it was good.
  3. Not through that much plant life with that many trees. There are so many layers with so many branches. I hear it's hard for a speeder bike to make it, forget a freighter.
  4. I've played as them all and as long as you get the special Yavin crystals you're fine. By the end of the game slicing doors should be like a joke. Of course it's easier if you're a guardian or even a sentinal. A consular can still do it easily though. Probably 2-3 turns for a consular as it is advisable for them to only use one weapon.
  5. I heard the cost of being a jedi was that your other powers suffer. The Force powers count as attributes (a different type but still attributes). Therefore they would logically draw from the same pool, no? Anyway, we have +5D for force powers if we're jedi. I also heard that force powers are almost useless until we get to around 7D. I might do a little adjustment to my stats making myself less force power oriented though.
  6. Yah, it would make the fights with starfighters more harrowing and dangerous if your health actually mattered and didn't mysteriously regenerate without you doing anything between battles. It would be even better if you had consecutive fights with no oppurtunity to heal between. Anyone considered how cool it would be if you were in the turret for a massive battle (e.g. the assault on the star forge)?
  7. What sounds best to me is more sub-areas within a planet. Instead of just having an academy, some tombs, and a spaceport (Korriban), a planet should have more areas with more things happeneing there. Not to mention everything on every planet was absurdly close together. I think this has been mentioned before, but having to take public transportation (on Taris) or renting a speeder to get to places (sorta like the basket in Kashyyk) would make everything feel larger instead of being able to walk across all of tatooine in 5 minutes.
  8. Yah, I agree it was a weird point system. Thug DS=easier than LS=Easier than someone who's really evil, not stupid LS was too easy and thug DS was too stupid.
  9. Yah, there should be a pilot skill. Maybe you have to fight alot of fighters. The pilot (in the last game Carth)'s piloting skill makes it so you get hit less and are placed in good positions to shoot the fighters. Stuff like that. Sith fighters can be a really hard encounter if you have low pilot, but an easier one if you have high pilot.
  10. I was pretty much maxed on LS points by the time I left Dantooine.
  11. I've heard stuff like teams of wookies won't even go to the bottom. A very powerful group of nightsisters were demolished in the shadowlands and almost all of their stormtrooper escort died. Also, about the flat ground and taking your ship to the shadowlands, do you volunteer to fly your ship through a nearly impenetrable group of massive trees?
  12. Lightsaber skill covers parrying with lightsabers.
  13. Don't worry, I've got more skills written, I just only wrote the ones that I put points into here. Sense 3D instead of 4D Strength 3D instead of 2D I'm not really sure how the rules for this system work so point out any other shortcomings in my stats please. Right now I pretty much know that I'm a Jedi who has just come out of the academy. knowledge on theoretica aspects of things, but not much practical experience.
  14. That doesn't necesarily work for plot. Since when have there been ports in the shadowlands. Speaking of the lower Kashyyk (no clue how to spell that) levels, the game either misrepresented them or didn't explain that we weren't on the lowest level. Isn't it pretty much impossible for anyone to survive in the lowest levels?
  15. I found Carth to be a killing machine with a upgraded Casus Fett's pistol and another weapon (I think heavy mandelorian). Master flurry shot and watch massive widespread death. On the star forge Carth was killing more people than the jedi. This is because they were all weak and carth could quickly kill one after another without even having to move. Against mobs ranged is better in this game. 1v1.... The only problem is that in this game mobs pose no threat and thus your ranged is mostly good for support. Blaster damage is fine if you get the right stuff by the absolute end of the game.
  16. Remember, this is KOTOR, not Bounty Hunter. Too many bounties and we sort of loose sight of the game's objective.
  17. Scary though it is, I agree with you. I think the Unisystem is my favorite. So much less constricting and so much easier to construct your character around your personality and background. In the D20 system it sometimes seems that your stats and things are completely irrelevent to your personality/background.
  18. Heal when I needed, destroy droid whenever one came, and speed for convenience. I never ran low on force. I could use destroy droid as much as I wanted with my guardian (I did have something like a +8 to wis from equipment) and never run out pretty much.
  19. That's just scary.
  20. I have no idea what time Indiana is (right now we're 11:30 but we don't observe daylight savings). I've got everything for my character but name and force powers (btw how does buying force powers that use two of a stat work?) along with background and personality and the minor details of physical description and stuff. Name: (?) Human Dex: 3D Lightsaber: 5D Dodge: 5D Knowledge: 2D Willpower: 3D Cultures: 2D Mechanical 2D Starship Piloting 3D Perception 2D Pursuasion 1D Strength 2D Stamina 1D Technical 2D Control 3D Sense 4D Alter 3D
  21. So would it be a good idea to completely alter the style of swoop racing from a straightaway to a track?
  22. I'm not a fanatic of him, I just don't hate him ALL the time like everyone. He's cool sometimes. Just his most memorable moments are also his most pathetic ones.
  23. T3 randomly beeped at you and you said something random and walk off. That is exactly what happened every time. Am I the only one who liked Carth? He was a complainer most of the time, but was stoic the rest of the time.
  24. This is a new game and should have 99% new characters. It shouldn't bog itself down by trying to have old characters return. Cameos are enough. T3 prettymuch wasn't a character last game, so that's ok.
