  1. Just click the attack button and you force jump if you have a straight line to your target (and they're within range). I don't recall anything about cueing actions there.
  2. THe jedi got two massive things free. They got force powers at not penalty and FPs. These are two seperate catagories the jedi have access to. Maybe the jedi should have more feat points/options/thingies, but they have to split their choices between force powers and regular feats. Just a suggesstion. Also, the FP system needs to be reworked a little. Jedi should get less. I mentioned this earlier, but in the early game fps were not abundent and that was good (while on taris with bastila), but later my soldier guardian wis 10 had enough fps for whatever I needed. That not only overpowered jedi but prettymuch made consulars useless.
  3. This isn't a jedi overpower problem, I think its a combat oriented problem. All jedi can be very combat oriented (they can all use very powerful sabers and all can have agressive force powers), while most other haracters (e.g. mission) are disadvantaged due to their lack of combat focus. The game is combat oriented and thus combat oriented characters profit (I think Carth was awesome...as powerful as a jedi when used as range combat, but he's a soldier).
  4. I kinda hate perfect everyone happy endings. I think that the end and overall mood of KOTOR would have profited by being darker. I know obsidian is making the game overall darker, but does that apply to the ending (darker here doesn't apply to more darksidish incase you were misinterpreting).
  5. Who uses carth in melee? Also, you must have been doing something different with Zaalbar. I equiped him with critical strike 3, two weapons, his ancestral sword thing, and he prettymuch had instant kills. I think canderous was bad period. Jolee was compotent but not good melee. Juhani was awesome though.
  6. Not necesarily.
  7. Gives a glowrod a purpose.
  8. Yah, it's probably best to just keep them seperate in these situations. I want to see some races that we haven't seen in the movies, books, or games. Actually, maybe a Noghri would be alright (impossible plot-wise though).
  9. That's one reason you would be lightside. In that time, lightside actions might be rare. You as a jedi choose the lightside and spare people, even at your own inconvenience.
  10. I'm talking about the idea, not the specifics of how well it worked or how badly it failed. I had forgotten about the Shadows of the empire speeder lvl. That was fun. The concept of both should be incorporated into swoop racing. Anyone ever played the tatooine racing in Rogue Squadron? Another idea to use.
  11. Ummmm, this game is about the jedi, so thus your main character would have to be a jedi. The storyline's kinda about jedi. But obsidian has said specifically that they're trying to balance power between jedi and non-jedi better. If only jedi have prestige classes, then they're doomed to fail before they begin.
  12. maybe a little excessive?
  13. I think that prestige classes should be avalible for everyone, not just the jedi. This would go along way towards remedying the power imbalance between jedi and non-jedi. Also I'm not sure if we should be able to pick what prestige class our NPCs go to.
  14. He's good but I like Zahn alot. Maybe a toss-up.
  15. Returning characters should be limited as much as possible I think.
  16. I think all of the game but the last 15 minutes (went downhill sometime on star forge) was truly excellent. As soon as you got on the Forge, you were swamped with tedious amounts of enemies (only difficult if you stopped paying attention because of repition) and a final boss relying on cheapness (insanely easy if you know what to do).
  17. I actually won by dismounting. Got them all couped up and ran by swinging my saber. I killed everyone following me (all 4 of them) and proceded to get the next bike.
  18. 6 PRESTIGE classes? Aren't there three presige classes, three jedi classes, and three non-force classes? Hey, maybe the non-jedi people will get their own set of presitge classes and make it 6.
  19. In the turret minigame if you just click as fast as you can right before it starts, you'll kill 3/4 of them. They all start out together with your gun pointed right at them when the game begins, so just start clicking when it finishes loading and you've got 2 ships left to fight.
  20. And with two weapons... Instant kill pretty much.
  21. Yah, just the JA turning was a little...impossible. You either got someone head on head or you missed. It made using blasters impossible.
  22. I'd like to see more non-humanoid characters, jedi or no. Like have a Tchuukthai character (unlikely for that particular species). Maybe we could have a Kushiban.
  23. Isn't Zaalbar's sidequest more of a main quest? It goes hand-in-hand with the star map. You either kill his father and get the sword or bring the blade to his father and help him overthrow the brother and get the sword.
  24. I dunno, you get to fight alot in the game, but you don't do nearly as much swoop racing or pazaak. Dueling is basically fighting for money. Racing is a change of pace and can be fun. So can pazaak (I'll admit it usually isn't).
  25. That would worsen the healing and force regeneration problem. A couple people and I discussed the optimal healing solution here. We also mentioned some main problems with the FP system. http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=1532&st=60
