You know, the clan war scrolls? The original L5R books. They have stories about each of the clans and their thunders. This is when Toturi was the black lion and fu leng possessed Hentai (and the scorpion were anhiliated).

it wouldn't be cool and probably won't happen. Laser whips would be very cool...but they'd take so much work to do right.

IF you look at many combat screenshots, in something like 80% of them you see Atton lying dead on the ground!! LOL!! Seriously, look. I'm right.

That's the same face as used in the walkthrough video for the main character That's a pc man. Besides, Atris has white hair and this person is blond. I remember mentally comparing what I've seen...we've seen a lighter version of this person (in force alignment) who was the pc, and once again, I refer to the walkthrough video...

Well now the naga have 2 cards, both unique, no stronghold, no ancestral item, and that's about it. Toturi's Army is the same as the Monkey Clan (has like 2 people in it and is obviously a minor clan but is lead by Toku). Brotherhood of Shinsei are basically the monks now, but they don't do anything. Scorpion are a real offical clan that's not corrputed or anything now. Shadowlands hasn't always been around? Oh. Lion is good and strong (though they're strongest general has lost most of his soul to Iuchiban). The Crane are fine I think Dragon's big mountain places have errupted and gone earthquakey (thanks alot, dark oracle of fire...), so they've left that and are in a truce after alot of war with the pheonix. THe unicorn are agreeing to have the Kaiu wall extended to their lands. They also have the 2nd most powerful army (yay for the lions). Don't really know what's up with the pheonix...oh yah, their hiden city where they contained and researched all the uber dangerous stuff and kept powerful artifacts has been discovered and destroyed by Iuchiban and Yjandin (his friend/top servant). Isawa's last wish is with Aikune. but Iuchiban is trying to take it. The mantis are one of the great clans (I have good mantis stuff and am thinking of playing as them because almost everytime I open a booster, a very rare mantis card falls out on me even though i am a lion player). Mantis used to be the most weak and useless clan, but after no one as mantis placed in the top 100 in the country (or maybe it was top 50), they changed that and Mantis is good now. The crab I know almost nothing about, but they're happy smashing things with big clubs on their wall... Oh yah, their champion (Kuon)'s brother died and is now a shadowlands general with his soul trapped... The Nezumi/Ratlings are fighting a small civil war with the tainted paw (ratlings seduced to evil even though they can't be tainted). A big city has risen out of the shadowlands (and become Iuchiban's capital or one of his cities) that look-look like home (in nezumi speech patterns). They're champion is cool and they use swarming tactics and stealing of items and stuff. The dead spirits have passed back into rokugan (following Matsu Gohei, fortune of heroes) to save the world as the army of the dead. Only one can be permanantly brought back though. Since Iuchiban is planning to destroy Rokugan and then the heavens, they want to stop him while they can. Players from a tournament decided I think 30 people who come back. Shadowlands ones join the legion of blood, Iuchiban's new people. Alot of the people from your time are coming back... Here's the list http://l5r.alderac.com/ccg/kotei_results.html

I think they've announceed FEB in order to prevent delays...It's much easier to make people happy by moving something up than putting it back.

If you read earlier stuff on this thread, we have good insights and ideas. One of them (page 2 I think) was slow down the healing on the hawk, enouraging you to use other characters during the 15 min to 1 hour that the others are healing. Also, a dev popped up and said treat injury is tied to force heal.

I, unlike many here, have not scorned the way of Console games. Try Final Fantasy. If you want a great semi-old game, try star wars rebellion. One of the best SW games ever, but I don't hear much about it.

If the jedi knights have gone into hiding, you're at least the last known symbol of the jedi and your erradication will pretty-much mean they can say Victory, even if it isn't true.

Even besides the impracticality, it's a messed up idea. Laser whips exist in SW, but light whips? I mean, you can't caller them lightsaber whips as they have nothign to do with a saber...

Multiplayer? No. Just no.

The naga pretty much aren't playable as themselves. Shadowlands I don't know how I forgot to remind you of. Naga pretty much are unaligned.

No multiplayer. Just no. Also, minigames are key t a good RPG.

Are you asking for multiplayer (not quite sure what you mean). Keep multiplayer out of this game.

They've said there's going to be strong emphasis on the master-apprentice relationship in this game and it's going to be very important.

What does all that have to do with anything? Dude, what would he apologize for? And flaming is basically the same as bashing and insulting.

Trust me, by your second playthrough, everything is absurdly easy and abusible. Heck, I found things like that in my first play through. KOTOR is not perfectly balanced. I don't have experience with CRPGs and I killed everyone no sweat. I think I died once...the Rakghouls. That was in the only hard part of the game (limited medpacks and no force powers). Have we ever said run to the hawk? From what I've gotten we've said no miracle healing (so abusible) and maybe the ability to teleport to places (with hawk).

Good point, but answer this, would KOTOR have been as great with no gameplay? Also, I think the FF7 story was good, but FFVIII will live forever!!!!! Also, I thought FF7 was so great because it was the first of its time. FFVII was the virst 3D style good RPG with half-decent graphics. The story was good I guess, but I've seen better. No matter how good the story is, the game will suck without gameplay.
