So I've done three full play-throughs (2 Vet. and 1 PotD) and 100+ hours modding, and while I'd like to see these as options I'll get to that later in the post as part of my Magran's challenge rant. PotD was semi-fun but I think a lot of that was due to it being my 3rd play through and I was getting burnt-out. PotD has a decent balance but I don't want to cosign my thoughts on this difficulty here--I'm sure so many have, already. What I do see as having great potential, for those of that do like a modicum of challenge (Vet.) but don't want to wile away our days doing just a handful of battles (PotD), is having some options to make any Difficulty to the degree we like to play the game. The features I'd like to have [as options] for any difficulty is: - PotD encounter size & AI* - Double Health -- Triple Health - PotD AllDefense upgrade (the +15) - No map markers - No [city] Quick Travel Legend - Remove Weapon Proficiency abilities from character leveling / Add Trainers around select locations to add WP Abilities The last two are mods I made but would like to see something a little more... professional. Currently have Items that can be bought (hooked into select Stores) for 5,000 that On Inspected grants WP Abilities; uses unneeded GlobalValue's to increment and check against so a character can't have more than 4. Magran's Challenges Rant Time Make these available for any difficulty, just like Berath's. For the sake of potential upcoming achievements (I suspect this is the reason) when a challenge is selected it 1) disables any selected blessings and 2) notifies the user that if they are not uses PotD as their difficulty they'll not get [potential] achievements. You probably have a large player-base that would like to use some of these challenges but don't want to, putting it bluntly, Richard around with PotD. (lol it got censored) Thanks for listening--ok let me have it! -laughs -- * This top option I listed was my entire reason for making this post in the first place. I play on Veteran, just starting a 4th play through, but it's a cake walk and severally in need of more monsters in encounters.

While I was making my mod I accidentally replicated this bug in another part of the GUI, if you're interested SChin. Let me know and I can show you how to replicate this exact behavior in the Character Creator > Weapon Proficiency panel. -

There's another error in #1 also. The word in should remain an adverb in the line "His shoulders are rigid and his back tense even as he leans into you." and should be "[...] as he leans in to you." -
I noticed your post date and it's Sept. 16 2018 and while I've had this bug since then I also did not have this bug another play through also since then. The Party;Difficulty I had the cutscene (non-bugged): Xoti, Aloth, Elder, Serafen; Vetern The Party;Difficulty I did not have the cutscene (bugged): Serafen, Maia, Tekehu, Pallegina; PotD If it makes a difference who I brought or difficulty but thought I add it anyways.

The only thing I was thinking through-out this entire story line is before the Engwithans and the gods there must of been a way people were born with souls in order for the ancients to become gods. They never once touched on this and the story fell to pieces for me the more Eothas talked about fixing the problem but there may be consequences and mortals must find their way... and still never mentioned a single thing about how it worked prior to them all becoming gods. It's quite a major plot point that requires revelation.

Flanking & Base Armor
Rolandur replied to Rolandur's question in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
What I was thinking it was but can't check because the bestiary doesn't work. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/106217-tshock/ -
Base Armor is the focus if this potential bug. I can not account for the reason the base armor is lower by 2 points between two characters attacking a creature (specifically a Young Boar). The Y. Boar with 5 AR (my main character): https://i.imgur.com/Wlc6Jj6.jpg The Y. Boar with 3 BASE Armor (Eder): https://i.imgur.com/NlvAcMP.jpg It's not because Flanking because that's accounted for. So is this a bug or is there a hidden mechanic happening I'm not aware of (or obscure)? Edit: perhaps a positioning mechanic (Eder) that causes a creature to have -2 to the base of the creature Armor? And if so shouldn't the creature have +5 Hide, -2 Positioning (Eder), -1 Flanking, +2 Path of the Damned.

Under the Character Sheet > Reputations > Tekehu (Companion) > Pro-Godlike it has the "Piety" description and should, instead, have a description reading: "Tekehu likes reverence for or admiration of godlike." -

Laying is correct. -
Curious on how a couple Paladin abilities work under specific circumstances. 1. How does Deep Faith work when a companion Paladin takes this passive? They do not have their own disposition so I assume it uses the character's for calculation but if so I don't understand why it would. 2. Can Zealous Aura aura stack if two or three Paladin's all use different auras (one uses Focus, another uses Charge, and the last uses Endurance)? I know they do not stack when it's the same aura but if they multiple different auras do stack I may invest in this.

Try the O/S hotkey 'ALT + Enter' when the screen goes black. My friend had this, I suggested this solution and he said it worked. I think there's something wrong with how the unity engine assigns registry keys.

Losing Money
Rolandur replied to Whitewolfsp's question in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I can happen to me at anytime, anywhere and it triggers just after loading in a scene. If I had to put a ratio on it I'd say 1:40 give or take :5 and the amount it takes can be a few thousand upwards to 70,000+. I once watched a stream of -56 for about 20 seconds. Edit: I don't have an override folder (mods). -

I see, not everyone has this? All my playthroughs (5+) have always had this. Sure I can get you a save file. Here's what I'm seeing format-wise (from PoE2): https://i.imgur.com/JKfGuOS.jpg Here's what I expected format-wise (from PoE1): https://i.imgur.com/x4KxyND.jpg And here's a save files: http://guur3k.com/pillars/ Thanks, SChin -
This is still an issue, October 2018. https://i.imgur.com/SDDXP5G.jpg Nevermind it works, sorry about that. Maybe change the short description to "Immune to Slog Zone during combat." Anyways I was wrong on this one.

Rolandur posted a question in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
The alternate armor ratings for all creature entries in the bestiary do not show and instead there's just an internal variable (I assume) tShock: 00 I think the "t" in "tShock" is the last letter of DefaultText (<DefaultText>Shock</DefaultText>) in a .stringtables file.
