Two Poog's in One Party?
Ethics Gradient replied to kurtalb1's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Nope. Poog is a Promo card, not a Treasure card. You can have as many in your party as you want! (or have the patience to farm/trade) In comparison, Treasure cards do have enforced limits, and excess copies will be deleted when you reform a party.

Belts of dexterity, strength issue and others
Ethics Gradient replied to znajoma's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)In the earlier days of the app (and occasionally still), I see posts like "I rolled a 12 and was unable to defeat a 9, what the heck?!?" Characters don't receive a Power feat until Trouble to Sandpoint. I find it extremely plausible that inexperienced users could play through six scenarios without knowing that Weapon Proficiency is even a thing. The tutorial is a reasonable crash-course in Pathfinder ACG, but the UI could easily help and fill the gaps. The learning curve doesn't need to be harder than necessary.

Quest progression with 2 points still broken
Ethics Gradient replied to Rodric's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Yup. Any user-side fixes I've found on iOS are extremely technical and time-consuming. It is intentionally difficult to circumvent iOS File Sharing restrictions on a non-jailbroken device when the developer does not allow it. --- If any dev happens to catch wind of this thread, please turn iOS File Sharing on (pretty-please!). It is just a one-liner change in the build that will allow iOS users to manually delete saves or send them off for analysis. Maybe you can lock it back up later, but at least until we've sorted out all the progression breaks, its odd not to allow it when Android users have that option available.

Belts of dexterity, strength issue and others
Ethics Gradient replied to znajoma's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Improving visibility would be a nice change. Replacing the vague "Combat" at the top of the screen with "Combat:Dex" or "Ranged" etc... would let users know how the game is calculating bonuses without having to tap around and explore which check it picked. Not only is it hard to notice when the game optimizes your roll and inadvertently changes the check type, but looking at the forums or reddit, a lot of users don't even know that you have the ability to change the check type. It can be confusing when you play a card that should provide a bonus, and it is not clear how it turned into a net negative. What would be really nice (in a wishlist sort of way) was if you tapped on the bonus box, a popup would show how that number was calculated. That way when you see Harsk has a +7, you can easily see it was comprised of [+3 Ranged, +3 Dex, +1 Longbow+1]. Character bonuses (as well as modifiers working against you) can get very opaque and difficult for the user to track.

Finally got that Dragon Smiter!
Ethics Gradient replied to firestormkirby's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)Good news! After 3000 chests you should have collected something like 99.8% of the available cards... assuming no new ones get added into the mix

Belt of giant strength
Ethics Gradient replied to DarthMolson's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Confirmed bug. There's another post about it at the link below. Just tap on the check type at the top middle of the screen and change it back to Combat:Melee instead of Combat:Strength. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/89796-belts-of-dexterity-strength-issue-and-others/

Finally got that Dragon Smiter!
Ethics Gradient replied to firestormkirby's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)2500 to 2800ish That's some dedication. Congrats again on winning the game.

Finally got that Dragon Smiter!
Ethics Gradient replied to firestormkirby's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)Congrats! How many treasure chests would you estimate that it took to complete the collection? [...as of mid-October]

Belts of dexterity, strength issue and others
Ethics Gradient replied to znajoma's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Except... you changed the check and made it worse? Heh. I was thinking that too. Reveal a Longsword, and the card scripting is smart enough to select Melee over Strength if you have it. Reveal a Belt of Giant Strength, and it seems to go out of its way to downgrade a Melee check into a Strength check without caring that a Melee check is a Strength check.

Some bugs in the new version
Ethics Gradient replied to Irgy's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Fix is inbound. Otherwise, there are a couple workarounds posted in this thread.

Repeatable Game Breaking Bug During Approach to Thistletop
Ethics Gradient replied to PurpleOddity's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Orik's Shield is a treasure card, not a loot card. You have a smallish chance of finding it sometime later in any AD1 or higher scenario .

Is buried treasure only an option for Free players?
Ethics Gradient replied to Pediatron's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)For what it's worth, it looks like the Buried Treasure promo is over for now. Perhaps it will come back again as a periodic inducement to spend, but it no longer appears available.

Belts of dexterity, strength issue and others
Ethics Gradient replied to znajoma's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)You just need to tap on combat check type in the top middle of the screen and change it back to Combat:Ranged or Combat:Melee as appropriate. Sometimes playing items or allies will inadvertently switch you to Combat:Dexterity or Combat:Strength, which don't have all your bonuses. Minor annoyance, yes, but at least it can be overcome.

Repeatable Game Breaking Bug During Approach to Thistletop
Ethics Gradient replied to PurpleOddity's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Hey, I know this isn't the best solution, but as a workaround, just reduce your party size for the scenario. The Garrison location should only be in play in Approach to Thistletop if you have a party of six characters. If you have less, that location isn't part of the scenario, and you might avoid bugged interactions. After you win with a smaller party, switch around your characters and replay it until everyone has a chance beat it. Then put your six-character team back together and never look back!

Redeemed Code for dice, but not in my account.
Ethics Gradient replied to Cowplow's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)If you saw the popup, the dice were added to your account and the Pathfinder app knows about it too. Even though the message said something like "Deep Purple Marble Dice," it really meant Fluorite Dice. You should have at least one set thanks to your code.

Justice Ironbriar joop
Ethics Gradient replied to something random's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)"Justice Ironbriar and his Infinite Hordes" should have been fixed in the most recent 1.1.4.2 patch. I experienced the same issue until I updated.

vermilion rhomboid
Ethics Gradient replied to Pediatron's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Characters Builds & Strategies (Spoiler Warning!)To anyone still hunting for clues, this twitter post should be enough to get you started. Nothing too complicated, its like a real-life Perception 6 check. If you still have issues, someone here should be able to point you in the right direction.

Is buried treasure only an option for Free players?
Ethics Gradient replied to Pediatron's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)I had it before (did not purchase), and I noticed it was gone yesterday. Either it was a timed offer, or its removal coincided with the update.

[1.1.3] Kohl of Uncanny Discernment - cannot tap Location Deck to Examine
Ethics Gradient replied to mccrispy's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)For what-its-worth, the Vault round-trip appears very effective at clearing up some UI/UX issues. In a technical sense, the Vault is not displayed "on top" of the gaming session, it initiates a whole scene change. Once you exit the Vault, the App rebuilds your scenario from memory, resetting the display of cards, z-orders, selection panes, etc... back to the way they should be. A VRT, however, is powerless against scripting glitches like Justice Ironbriar and his infinite spawning monsters. That required a code fix, which thankfully happened in short order.

Snakeskin armor changes check type incorrectly (ranged->combat) for Harsk
Ethics Gradient replied to _Harwin_'s topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Similar sort of thing in this post too. The skill-picker hasn't been behaving very well lately...

Belt of incredible Dexterity bug
Ethics Gradient replied to mplain's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)This appears to be another Combat:Melee vs. Combat:Strength-type bug. When you played the Belt of Incredible Dexterity the following appears to be happening in the above screenshots: Pic1: Harsk has +7 worth of bonuses. +3 of that is from this being a Combat:Ranged check. Pic2: Belt is revealed, adds +1 to the check, but also changes it to a plain Combat:Dexterity check, so you lose that +3 Ranged bonus. Net change is a -2 unless you check to change it back to Combat:Ranged. Edit: Same sort of thing happening in this post too.

How do you get gold?
Ethics Gradient replied to Rubarack's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)Aside from converting cash, you can get gold from daily challenges, quest mode, some story mode scenarios, and salvaging cards. Daily Challenges: 100-200 gold per daily challenge. Quest Mode: Each difficulty has a base gold reward, plus a little extra per character. And you get additional gold for defeating a boon (and closing locations). In normal mode, you're looking at a net 100-200 gold per scenario. That number scales up pretty significantly at Heroic and Legendary difficulties. Story Mode: You will always receive gold for defeating banes (and closing locations), but will only get the scenario "bonus" at Normal and Heroic once. You then have to keep grinding out Legendary scenarios for max benefit. Salvage: Depending on their rarity, you can salvage treasure cards from your vault ("sell" them back) for 8-36 gold apiece. Edit: Forgot about location closing. Or maybe I didn't forget and wasn't paying attention. Either way, time to find some coffee!

Bug: Use your library for anything.
Ethics Gradient replied to aznxknight's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Its newish. I know I've tried screwing around with my character's deck in earlier releases, so occurred somewhere between the UI changes and AD4.
