The discussion on this thread (and specifically this page) makes me happier and happier with the decision. EDIT: Ugh... last page :/

Several weird and bugged weekly deals this time around... Like Inquisitor (which was on sale last week too, and then normal and special where on sale (I got special) now it's sale again but only normal? And the Star Trader isn't seperately available, only part of a 15 euro pack I got 2 weeks ago for 99 cents... Bad bad Steam...

It's obvious. You pick mage, dye your armor pink, get 2 (3?) female NPC's as "ho's" and then offer them as 'romance option' to every NPC you come across. The way DA:I mages are meant to be played. Romance for all! It's going to be the best RPG ever...

SYRIA USED NERVEGAS ON POPULATION! supertiny long time later; "Oh wait, nope, the rebels used it. Oh well, not important. Here's a footnote mention. Did we mention Syria's government is super-evil and the rebels are super-good guys?" Sound familiar? There's no black & white as sometimes being portrayed.

SW: The Old Republic - Episode VI (The Old Menace)
Hassat Hunter replied to Gorth's topic in Computer and Console
Thing still sounds super-meh to me... "Housing... yay!" Ehm, yeah... I already got that, it's called my spaceship. Next x-pack please? Seriously the only thing is legacy storage... and too bored with TOR now to get exited over that...- 505 replies

Just going out on the whole "Western media awesome, Russia media horrible" that it's not that black & white as people portray.
-
It's about as propagandic (is that a word) as the Russia outlet given... But hey, I know, all Western Media are awesome, nothing bad amongst them *cough*, Russia Media all evil and government controlled and with an agenda... (And sad as it is, not all Americans think that way or obviously it was long off the air)

Ehm, no? It's pretty obvious to all people that they did with Kiev, and backing an illegitimate government even if they enact War Crimes(!) while any other government doing that would met international scorn. Also there are the sponsorships of 1.2 billion by the EU and several hundreds of millions by the US and loans of more. So, where's the "180 spin"?

I'm glad. No more "Is TSLRCM canon", "Is M4-78EP canon", "I need to play female cause canon", "blabla canon", "CANON!" Well, now nothing is canon. Shut up, and now play the game you were supposed to pay it, like YOU want it... not what some E-writer says you should play when it took a major dump on the game and produced the ****ty Revan resolution that was TOR...

Any people who think Western Media is not biased at all and totally neutral probably never turned on Fox News... There's your proof right there... ???

I found it terrible and a waste of my money, but your mileage may vary...

Nobody died... the same cant be said for the military operation the chopper was part of. In more stupid moves of Kiev, they cut water to Crimea. Kiev/US seems to hunger for war... or is just extremely incompetant. Both are possible...

So, I guess there will be no optional L-shaped UI for people like me who prefer that. Hopefully we can mod it in relatively fast though... And the 'slide out to save space... so far I see 2 extra icons (and no space for more (EDIT: Well, maybe 2 more on the other side. So really does only fit people without bar, since that space is usually covered anyway)... that doesn't really bode too well for character specials, or is really that much 'saved space' if not always shown... :?

To answer Lephys; The reason this was so in Baldur's Gate was because enemies who where killed dropped EVERYTHING. It doesn't have anything to do with spoons or plates or stealing everything in sight, that was just the design decision of the BG team. If you kill an enemy everything he owned on him drops. Did that mean they actually intended for the player to carry that all off? No. So the solutions would be; 1) Keep it as is, it's fine (IMO my suggestion) 2) Change the system so if you kill a NPC he no longer drops everything (most modern games design) 3) Adapt the game to keep this in, but still allow people who seem incapable of leaving the 1GP swords each generic villain drops to get their fill. Also known as the current sollution. Change a system because just a few people exploited it to some degree. Which seems PoE's general design attitude in the first place. And... it's very worrysome.

Well, apparently the army attacked and killed 5 people... that's not going to end well... Ehm, the guys who send the army for an 'anti-terror operation'... who barely got any troops left since they all defected. Who barely got anything else than their mouth, definitely not a strong army. And still attacked and killed 5 people (before being driven away again)? Sure sounds peaceful or non-combat operational. If they're doing anything but military attacks it would be that they no longer got the power for that. But apparently they did still had one hit-and-run in them. Something that with the Russian army reinforcing their borders cause there's an army on the other side waiting, is probably not exactly the best thing to do. In other news both the US and Russia tell each other to keep Ukrain under control.

Then maybe you should look at research how eyes work (since you obviously have no clue whatsoever from your last post) and what parts are more getting attention then not. @ Marelooke; Yup, Black Isle REALLY sucked with UI design. I was kinda hoping they actually learned these past 15 years, but I suppose not.

Well... yes? I can't speak for Gothic, but I can for KOTOR. KOTOR1 it wasn't that bad... you ignore pretty much most drops, except for stuff you buy. It's starting to get insane in KOTOR2, where you get so much crap filling your inventory, you seriously stop giving a crap about it all. Once every 3 hours you check if you got something better than your current gear, and you move on. Crap lost all meaning and has infact... turned crap. Compare 'Yay, new item' BG2 and 'crap, crap, crap' KOTOR2 and yes, there's a serious extreme level of reduced fun to play. Also, remember how much 'fun' everyone was having with ME1? Maybe they can do the same for PoE2... just turn everything in magic goo, no more need for a pesky inventory puzzle... just stick +100 goo on your armor and morph it at will. Such is the future! Such is "fun"... is it really fun though? Nope. Then you're seriously doing something wrong, since I don't recall any of these behaviors from me in any IE games, and I am a hoarder. Of course, logically (although I suppose reading this thread, not so) I left 1 gold armors and swords from downed enemies where they belong, the floor. And this was even in BG1 where I had a full inventory of missiles and bullets on my least strength hero. As you might have read, I definitely agree with the stance that OE should not appease the "I want all lootz" crowd, and that will definitely weaken the game, just like all the other games it has done so in the past. Learn from past mistakes, not repeat them!

I know where my eyes are during gaming. And that all portraits on the bottom is **** isn't even based on theory, but actual practice... IWD2 has the ****ties IE UI ever. PS:T one's is somewhat redeemable by not being fairly combat centric, so it's not that needed to have actual references of your character as in IWD2 was the case. IWD2's UI was utter ****. It's character placement was one of the various reasons why so. If you think that's good UI, obviously... you have some pretty weird eyes compared to mine. But feel free to tell me how IWD2's UI was better than BG2's to someone who played both and actually felt them. Feel free to ignore every TEAMBASED RPG has always put them exactly where I say them to be (topleft). Feel free to give all kinds of examples of single-character or RTS or whatever games to prove you have no utter clue what you're talking about. Go... ahead. I'll be sure to look out for my characters butt to look at it's HP. In isometric. During combat. Since it's so completely relevant to the current discussion. What did you say again about painful to read?

Reading news today... "America is going to put more sanctions on Russia if the violence in Ukrain doesn't die down... the treaty made on Thursday to have no more threats..." Oh, I love some good old irony in the morning to wake up. But really, all I hear is the US making threats, and Russia doing... well, nothing. Who seems warmongering now. They somehow expect Russia to fix Ukrain? How? Without taking it all over? It's like Russia asking the US to fix Mexico right now... is it reasonable? Hell no. So why do they keep asking? And why don't they try to keep their own dogs on a leash in Kiev? Seriously, people... what exactly are they expecting to happen? That things go over peacefully like Kiev... oh, wait...

Yup, while walking around tulips (wearing clomps!) and seeing mills everywhere. Since that's not a stereotype at all...
