  1. If the reviewers were to stupid to handle the combat system the first time around, a patch wont fix that. Only "patched reviewers" would
  2. I've been waiting longer for other patches, including (but not limited to) KOTOR2. EDIT: Of course I rather hope the AP patch is made better than that thing.
  3. And +1. Already finished 4 times, but I want to see how it would play after some balance tweaks etc. *waiting*
  4. http://alphaprotocol.wikia.com/wiki/Dossie..._secret_fact.29 http://alphaprotocol.wikia.com/wiki/Sis
  5. I would say... no. Random generated mission or monstergroups would suit MP play though.
  6. Let's hope so. Dunno which GPG-devs work (brainstorm only?) on DS3, probably very few, but maybe they remember us .
  7. Because otherwise they will no longer advertise their games there, loosing advertisement income. And we can't have that now, can we?
  8. A lot of games get mod support. Some games even live on it (Oblivion is horrible mod-less). I wouldn't call Vtm:B one of those games though.
  9. Yeah, both AP and DX I rarely miss, just take the time for the reticle to close...
  10. I get the impression the OP hasn't even played DS2, with the skill suggestion though.
  11. I've completed Vtm:B 5x with the official 1.2 patch only. Wesp breaks more than he fixes IMO. So, not seeing your point here...
  12. So many Maxes. Makes me all fuzzy inside. Long live Sam&Max. Oh, and AP too of course . Most critisize the combat system but I am glad there finally is a game that does combat like Deus Ex. I think it worked great there, so why do people prefer to have 100% acc without effort?
  13. Well, all looks fine now, with mentions of all new titles.
  14. And without? Just wondering... @ Volo: We don't mind critism to AP when it's done by people who actually know what they talk about. For example I understand Oblarg's point about Kreia. However critising a plot and reactiveness without having any ****ing clue what-so-ever like you do, sure we are not going to defend your posts...
  15. Clearly you don't, since your posts reak of ignorance. Also, how, exactly, is KOTOR2 better than AP in your regard? Combat system? AP > KOTOR2 Brokenness? KOTOR2 > AP Bugs? KOTOR2 > AP Story AP > KOTOR2 Responsiveness to player actions AP > KOTOR2 Meaningful choices AP > KOTOR2 I don't want to say much but, eh, it seems clearly to me AP is better than KOTOR2. And that's saying something seeing how KOTOR2 was.
  16. Lol, you were able to tell by just playing Saudi Arabia? R00fles once more... If you have no idea what you're talking about, maybe you should not talk at all. But yeah, DX and Bloodlines both didn't sell so well, and look at their status now. I think it's not far-fedged AP will join this line.
  17. That must be ancient history then, since I don't hear a lot of it anymore. Yeah, but I also cannot recall the last time the gaming "press" went on a crusade against a game like this. Usually it's nothing but praise for even the weakest of games like Oblivion. That's true. But that, once again, maybe due to unrealistic expectations. Like BioWare of Bethesda sales figure expectations. Eeeh, I was more thinking about Germany, Europe's biggest market for adventures and RPG's. Also sale figures says little because, as I stated before DD is a lot more mainstream here in Europe than in the US and store sales likely don't even make 20% of the sales. If you look at them it's like the PC is dying. If so, why do so many DD-distributors like GOG, Steam, DD, D2D, GamersGate etc. rise up? As such, 700K shipped units might even be better than 700K SOLD games (incl. DD sales). Sale figures might be a good indication for consoles, but once again, the PC is more popular than consoles in Europe.
  18. Didn't they not include PC sales and are based on guesses and stuff? Or include Europe. Stuff like that I read on that forum itself already. Got common sense though. Also, if it IS units sold to retailers, it wouldn't include DD sales, which could make the total easily get above 700K then, since it's a very popular form of distribution here in RPG-loving Europe. Yeah, and I have heard EA say that about games that sold 1.5 mil units too. Sometimes expectations are... unreal. Obviously... Says Mr. "Anyone who critisies ME2 is wrong, it has no flaws". R00FLES.
  19. So, because a Volourn on another forum says it, it's true? Consider me converted... eh, wait... what?
  20. Eh, if SEGA says it sold 700K, that probably means it sold 700K. Unless you suspect them of fraud to improve their yearly figures, now...
  21. You think 10 years after Deus Ex people would be smarter and more used to this system. Oh wait, nevermind.
  22. It's back. http://www.deadlystream.com/forum/ Although not the database, so you have to create new accounts and all .
  23. Visit them before the HK-50's...
  24. Well, patches can contain not-bufixes, like balance changes and even content additions, but yeah, some people just expect too much...
  25. Nope, No USM compatibility with 1.6 yet...
