  1. He has to, otherwise no HK-50 attack. Enable the cheats and use "WARP 003EBO". It's a bit too late for the fix with your current save (it's preventive, not pre-active).
  2. Yeah, they mentioned that on the Bethesda forums. They suspect it's from people using the .dll fix. Steam can't handle that for some reason... (Or so it was deducted there)
  3. Stupid reply limitations (someone merger?) You know when you say you do A, and then do B. Yeah... Oddly, while in Primm I often looted verpin (?) rifles and 9mm from the ground and then the body too, here in NCRCF that didn't seem to work. Well, except for Meyer. Also, here, in cell block B, I lockpicked a crate to find ... nothing. Is that supposed to happen from time to time or also a bug? EDIT: Nah, scrap that... I'm done.
  4. I give up... unless someone finds a .dll for both the FPS and sound issues, I can't play... NCR Correction Facility shootout 'lag' made that quite clear. It's that there was the semi-exploit of people not going through doors after loading an auto-save, but even that can get you so far... Last bug; * Enemies dropping their guns still have them in their inventory too. Makes it far too easy to repair some of the more frequent guns.
  5. Nvidia files don't seem to fix much. Still got frame-skipping, and while I know of the .dll fix I cannot use it, since the fix for my sound issues has the same .dll file, and I already tried and the fix did once again break my sound. Other suggestions? Bugs I noticed so far (6 hours): * Ballcap with glasses with four eyes only giving +1PER, while I think it should be +2 (unless without that perk it gives -1PER. Does it?) * Several stats like "water consumed" or "books read" (or is that not for temporary +skill mags too?) don't seem to work? * During crafting if you hold the mouse over a requirement the selection noise plays rapidly over and over. Annoying. If the list is big enough to have a scrollbar though it doesn't do this, but then you can no longer select other items to create to see their requirements, or make them... forcing you to exit crafting and re-open.
  6. Console not obviously, but yeah, PC version is...
  7. AP (and many other modern games) don't need the disk either. But still no need for Steam...
  8. You should use KSE (Kotor Savegame Editor)...
  9. I actually just found a sollution on the Bethesda forums (whoever thought you can't search without account should be shot... but I got a thread eventually). *Goes off playing*
  10. Time to ask you guys for help. I know I am below min. system requirements, but that didn't stop games a lot of games that "require" dual cores to work properly on my PC. My issue is that as soon as I leave the doctors place the sound gets screwed up. People no longer speak, and it can take up to 20 seconds before I actually hear my gun being fired. Anyone heard of this issue and has a sollution?
  11. PvP (and cheating) murdered DS1's MP so I wasn't sad to see it go. I preffered it stayed that way (gone).
  12. What? *doesn't understand the question*
  13. Last time I had no internet connection I could use my internet cafe for free 5 times a week. Visited here, other forums, worked on TSLRCM etc. There is a lot you can do with an USB stick update wise with regular systems. My single bought Steam game didn't boot up obviously, despite the "offline modus". Anyway, I wouldn't pay $50,- for a frisbee either... so I am glad I got my totally functional Fallout: New Vegas disks now... *hugs non-frisbee discs*.
  14. So many pages of conversation about adventure games and no one mentioned Telltale? http://www.telltalegames.com/ For shame...
  15. 262_HK_Factory. Put it on 1.
  16. RPG's always have these. "What? This little... I'll murder that puppy over there if you do not raise the reward" "That'll do, thanks" "Keep it. I am drowning in money anyways, and I want my blue bar to rise."
  17. So... you base your point that games aren't buggy these days on REVIEWS? The same who found none of said pesky things in Oblivion, or Fallout? Not to mention loads of other titles. Consider me unimpressed by your proof.
  18. I probably mentioned this before, bug I had a lot more bugs in a single ME2 playthrough than I had in 4 AP ones... So, what was your point again?
  19. Wait, bugless games get released these days? Seriously?
  20. Having to re-verify your copy every 5 days or something stupid like that... Could have been DA or ME2... one of EA's BioWare titles at least. They didn't after everyone complained about Spore.
  21. 1.7 is here, for those interested... http://www.deadlystream.com/forum/showthread.php?t=240 You can also find a compatibility mod for use with USM now...
  22. People won't listen to this, it makes too much sense. Never worked with Spore after all... right? Or the original plans for ME...
  23. Not really. Many games use one time online activation, after which you don't even need the disk. STEAM is a tad worse, and personally, above MY level of acceptance. If I wanted Steam I bought it ON Steam, not inside a store. If I put up with it, what's next? I gotta put up with Ubi-Soft DRM or something?
  24. Steam sucks, aside from my bought game I got plenty of demo-expertise with it too. So much I decided never to buy there at all... Not to mention I like my disk and manual for less money compared to Steam, as local shops provide. Now if I could only play it without Steam too, that would be an instant-buy... Much rather OE than Bethesda really, but where to send it then? Also; I *could* do the second, but then it wont be a signal right? Much like I am going to get DA only end this month with all DLC to show I am willing to pay, but not all too much for all the DLC-stuff etc... I can wait (for BW that is, OE stuff is a different story )
