New Mass Effect Video
I'm not sure what to think of the combat yet, but it does look quite improved from the previous lackluster footage. Stat-based action-RPG can be hit or miss, but I can see a mixture of those elements as well as squad control to have good potential. Pseudoaction, with a tactical squad element. Could work. In any case, looks like my brother's picking up a 360 tomorrow, so I guess I'll be keeping an eye on this to some extent.

Wii reviews: Zelda, Wii Sports & Trauma Center
GC controller will play all VC games. Retro controller will do the same, but will be unable to play GC games.

Go Camping for a PS3!
Heh. It looks like a few retail stores will be giving some good deals for 360 bundles for Friday only, to appease disgruntled PS3 fans who won't be able to get one. Smart move. Some of these are actually tempting. GoW and GRAW splitscreen coop is quite appealing.

Wii reviews: Zelda, Wii Sports & Trauma Center
Hahahhahahahhahahahhaa And when SSBB comes out is when I'll get a Wii. Right now Twilight Princess, Trauma Center and Metal Slug are interesting, but not to the point in investing in a new console. In any case, time is what will show how devs will actually harness the Wii's potential.

I thought the point of modmaking was because it was fun for the modder, not attention-seeking.

Flashlight in one hand, gun in the other. Independant range of motion. These controls were made for the survival horror genre.

NWN2: Toolset Creations
Messing around during the preorder toolset phase, there was a learning curve - somewhat steep, but anyone with a good amount of motivation should be able to learn the basics very easily. The documentation is simple and does the job well enough. I see dialogue and scripting as still being the more labor-intensive parts of modding for NWN2. Also with somewhat of a learning curve, but definitely something that can be learned with the proper will, and the proper tools.

Yeah, I usually don't register unless I need it for one reason or another.

Role-Player is weak!
If you're going to pretend to like the action adventure genre, go get Okami, you bloody loser.

NWN2: Toolset Creations
Hahaha, I could care less about working at Bioware. http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewt...08736&forum=113 Quick search revealed that it's not very that useful at all unless you have no experience with NWN1 or modding in general.

http://www.amazon.ca/Neverwinter-Nights-2-...ie=UTF8&s=books I'd like someone with extensive NWN1 modding experience to comment on the usefulness of this book. I don't need a tutorial for dummies.
