  1. I'm not Hades.
  2. I mean, get a kite and go fly it, jerk.
  3. Cross of Iron (CC3 rerelease) gold candidate has been submitted and release date is projected to be before the end of the year.
  4. http://masseffect.bioware.com/gallery/ 'X06 Gameplay Video' First off, urg framerate. The semi-action/squad-based gameplay could have potential when they fix that. Second, finally a good view of how the 'real-time' conversation system actually works. It's too bad you can't see the full responses, but the interface implementation of it (each response linked to a separate button) sounds intuitive enough. Seeing the conversation unveil in 'real-time' actually looks like it could work. Depending on how they pull it off, this could actually be nice. Galaxy map is nice.
  5. Yes, Krookie is correct. That is indeed what Fionavar meant.
  6. Well, now he'll be saying them without any organs.
  7. Urg, why the crap did Deekin have to show up in the NWN2 OC? Now I have to carry on with my mod. I haven't substantially messed around with the toolset since prerelease, but I'm in the process of gathering design ideas again. Things will pick up when I finish the OC.
  8. Magical Volo is just bitter because he broke his TV.
  9. Yeah, jerk. Don't forget Paradox.
  10. I like playing games, rather than knowing that I have the capacity to play them. But that's just me.
  11. I'm from Quebec, but I don't think anyone remotely cares. The whole thing is a joke, anyway.
  12. True, but creativity is not all created equal.
  13. Heh. I've found that creativity in and of itself is much more crucial for modding than technical skill itself. At worst, you can hire a scripting monkey or whatever to do the scut for you, but you can't buy creativity. You can, however, learn technical skills.
  14. Console GOTY I've become surprisingly accustomed to the 360 controller now. I had a bit of trouble adjusting at first, but now controls are pretty smooth and aiming is pretty easy.
  15. Because Bioware doesn't make Boring, Linear, Ugly, Non Immersive, Easy, and Annoying games, right? I mean, am I right folks? HAHA am I right?
  16. Just because genuinely dynamic storytelling hasn't been done in a MMO before doesn't mean it can't be done. I don't think Bioware will be the one to pull it off, though. Not anytime soon, in any case.
  17. No, *I* am.
  18. Ah, crap. I have a massive backlog of games. For the PC, it's really about NWN2. I only just entered the Market District in Neverwinter :D Very cool so far. Then party interaction is the best of the game so far, it just better stay prominent. Otherwise, there's still my list of wargames I'm slowly progressing through. Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord (with Barbarossa to Berlin and Afrika Korps saved for after I finish the first one), Airborne Assault: Highway to the Reich (Conquest of the Aegean is also saved up), Take Command: 2nd Manassas, and Hearts of Iron II: Doomsday in coop with jerkface. On the DS side, I'm still going through Phoenix Wright, Advanced Wars, Rocket Slime, Trauma Center, and Children of Mana in coop with my sister. I finished Megaman ZX, but there's still hard mode to finish. I'm also going through Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow in Julius mode. I'm also unlocking everything in Kirby Canvas Curse. For the 360, Gears of War is an awesome coop game. We just finished casual and are playing hardcore mode now. GRAW seems kinda limited in coop for some reason. No story mode, no 3rd person look, no ability to get behind cover. What's up with that?
  19. I see personal attacks aren't beneath you either. The problem is, since it's mostly all subjective there aren't any lies. Only points you disagree with. I never at one moment writing that thought to myself "hmm I should lie here". Rather it was a stream of consciousness in comparative connections with NWN1 and NWN2 thus far including my personal experience and those around me with the original over a five year span. In that regards I'm more qualified to speak in general terms for those I played with online, and you only for yourself since admittedly you don't play online. That's great you disagree, but liar I am not. I genuinely feel all of these 50 points are what make NWN1 better than NWN2. It's his personal opinion that you're a liar. You may disagree with his opinion, but he genuinely feels that you're a liar. Agree to disagree!
  20. Time-travelling lizards rock. They rock so hard they deserve to be included in a sequel. Since NWN2 didn't give them that honor, I feel it falls on my shoulders as Obsidian CEO to bear that responsibility and do them justice for my mod. Time-travelling lizards 4 life. By mere association, NWN1 has the greatest plot of all time.
  21. I dunno. Looking at the way placeables have been creatively used in the NWN2 OC so far, NWN2 interiors destroy NWN1 interiors by a long shot.
  22. Yeah, because an extra inch makes all the difference. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Inch?! You didn't mod did you? you could build full on mountains underground, remember LOTR mods? Remember 9 layers scenarios? You had to ascend to the top of a giant throne that took five minutes and you knew you were going somewhere important. Now it's just "oh, theres the boss, right next to everyone else..*yawn*" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes. It
  23. As Obsidian CEO, I disagree.
