  1. It seems Wrath was just a pawn of Magical Volo, sent by him to distract us from the true threat.
  2. Canderous is Mandalore, man, how could he be boring? Is Wrex Mandalore too? I DIDN'T THINK SO
  3. Asari are freaking Drow. Bioware wanted to make a whole female LOL THEY'RE NOT REALLY FEMALE, THEY JUST LOOK LIKE IT, SO YOU CAN ROMANCE THEM EVEN IF YOU'RE A FEMALE PC LMAO race to cater to the Gabrielle/Hades demographic. FREAKING ASARI Actually, that's one thing I'll give KOTOR. It didn't have freaking Asari.
  4. As much as I like the game, I wouldn't recommend Halo3 singleplayer to anyone. The numerous awesome vehicular sequences just wouldn't have nearly the same effect by yourself with AI.
  5. The problem with the ME lore was that everything was created for a specific purpose in the game, rather than just to simply expand the game's universe (starship stuff aside, which was the nice thing about those).
  6. Well, actually, Gromnie spoiled all of it. That's pretty much the choice.
  7. I'm going to hunt down that lobster and eat it.
  8. If you think parrotting that endlessly makes you look intelligent, you're very much mistaken. What are you, 12 or so? Still stating the facts, my Jedi friend. Or are you denying that?
  9. Also, KOTOR had interesting, well developed characters. Or one at least, anyway.
  10. alanschu, do you deny that ME lacked interesting, well developed character like Carth Onasi from KOTOR1? Yes or no?
  11. KOTOR felt more polished than ME, in any case. Or rather, ME felt like it has some elements that felt completely neglected. KOTOR's story was laughable, and I suppose one's enjoyment of it depends on whether one thought the plot twist was good storytelling or not. There were some elements of ME's story that I enjoyed, though it did have some annoying Bioware trademarks for the rest of it. My opinion of both games keeps going down over time; they just lack the quality to make them timeless in my eye. I probably just dislike KOTOR more because of the time it's had to feed my hatred, like a fine wine. I'd have said I pretty much enjoyed ME in spite of its glaring flaws when I finished it. By now, I probably still like it enough that I'd play the sequel, but that's been demoted to rental status already. They're both pieces of crap. KOTOR1 just had more time to ferment its crap. ME is freshly squeezed crap. ME also lacked interesting, well developed characters like Carth. If there was one flaw I'd kill Bioware for, it's not including Carth in ME. What were they thinking?
  12. Hurlshot, you need to remember that "Carth was an interesting, well developed character".
  13. You need to edit my quote so that it looks like I provide a link to THE GAME FORUM, when in fact it's really just words being underlined to make it seem like a link, but if you just leave it like that, people will see through my clever ruse and won't start fruitlessly clicking on my linking and get mad for good laughs, I guess all this scheming really did sound better in my head but please edit the quote and then I can edit this post too so that it'll look like we never had this conversation, so people will start clicking on my link that's not really a link. Anyhow, I liked ME1 enough (particularly the ending) that I'll want to play ME2, but disliked enough elements about it that it probably won't be worth more than a rental or two for me.

Currently reading A Bridge Too Far by Cornelius Ryan. Great book on Market-Garden, both as a well-researched history book and as simply a good piece of literature. Also going through A Storm of Swords (third book of A Song of Ice and Fire by G. R. R. Martin) - my favorite Western fantasy novel series at this point.
  15. I will rent this game when it comes out on consoles, I guess. I can't wait to roleplay Boromir! He was such a dream in Oblivion.
  16. I sometimes post at the Codex too (lol). Is Gromnie undermining my credibility as a developer??? (BTW, if you guys want sensible game discussion, join THE GAME FORUM, now with free membership! PSP - plus more! You also get free flash games and contests. Click here) EDIT: Oh, right, right. On-topic. I will rent ME2.
  17. Let's page the resident expert, Nick.
  18. Is alandork dead in a ditch somewhere?
  19. The only problem with 100-hr games is when they're full of filler crap used to artificially lengthen them. Otherwise, a bad game can't maintain my attention, whether it's 100 or 5 hrs long.
  20. I think you miss the point of the game. I think the point of the game is to KILL EVERYTHING THAT MOVES!!!!!!!!111!11!1!
  21. Did you know that murdering Krookie in the USA isn't a crime? Now you know!
  22. Will you bet your life on it?
  23. Dawn of War II - co-op campaign and what seems like a relatively fresh take on the RTS genre gives me interest Hearts of Iron III - This better work well online this time. Freaking HoI2 > Might get Storm of War: Battle of Britain depending on how it turns out. Woohoo, flight sims! Could be vaporware, who knows? I guess I might get Diablo III for the co-op as well. There's a bunch of multi-platform titles I'm pretty interested in, but will probably get the console versions of. As usual, they completely forgot the entire lineup of the wargame genre as a whole. Command Ops: Battles from the Bulge is at the top of list of anticipated PC games. They forgot Men of War, too. Sequel of Soldiers and Faces of War! And my personal GOTY already, Memento Mori! Memento Mori. Memento Mori Memento Mori Memento Mori. MEMENTO MORI! MEMENTO MORI!
