  1. Though without Bioware you wouldn't be getting a sequel to which you have dedicated so much of your time and interest in either.
  2. I enjoyed TR2, but never really played any of the other ones.

An interesting observation, is that the Oilers took more days to reach 53 games in this "Olympic compressed schedule" than they did in 2003-2004. I think it's been a bit exaggerated the impact the Olympic year is having on the scheduling. Especially when I've seen teams have pretty much entire weeks off at some point.
  4. Seems like a needle in a haystack. Are you making a Jefferson for NWN2?
  5. Heh, strategy is definitely not the appropriate word. A nitpicker would say they are real time tactical games
  6. Make sure it looks like this in your shortcut: "D:\Games\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe" -console With quotes and everything exactly as they are. The D:\Games stuff is just my directory, replace with yours. Do not put -console inside the quotes like so: "D:\Games\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe -console" It has to be outside of the quotes.
  7. Again......Team Gizka would actually have to be taking credit for the work created. And I think it's a stretch to think that people are now associating KOTOR 2 with the Restoration Project. Sorry, but you seem to be talking out of your derriere.
  8. I believe the term you are looking for, for most RTS games, is mechanistic
  9. Though I do think they should allow planes to spot submarines.
  10. Well, I'll keep checking back until you do. Start thowing temper tantrums!
  11. Of course I had the Pentagon, with barracks, Vassalage, and Theocracy. Actually one of my Noble games I had fallen behind techwise (because of wars) to the Indians. When I invaded them, I was typically using Cavalry and Riflemen, against his infantry. But because of the huge amount of upgrades I could give my guys, everyone had +25% against gunpowder and varying levels of +Strength, Armor (he did have the odd tank) and so forth. Despite being technologically inferior by a small bit, I was still able to do very well because of the effective experience my troops all had. It was very satisfying.
  12. Because if you don't want to lose, you are forced to finish it before the AI does. Which is a forced, artificial endgame as soon as the technologies are discovered, as the AI goes for it even if it's painfully obvious they don't stand a chance. I don't much like space victory either. It keeps my industrial centers busy building useless crap when they could be building overwhelming amounts of stealth bombers... " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So having the space race would make the game more difficult, would it not? There are other ways to stop the space race, as Enoch noted. My solution was to literally attack the crap out of them. If they wish to build SS components while I'm invading them, then that's their perogative.

I didn't watch the game, but Don Cherry and Ron MacLean felt Belfour was pretty solid. I guess he was the first star. In other news, I guess Mike Morrison asked to be in the game against Vancouver to redeem himself from his previous game against them. Kudos for a goalie to show that kind of determination. He had a very good game too! It's wierd, suddenly Edmonton has Vancouver's number!
  14. If we should never lose to the computer in a space race, then why do you disable it? I found Civ3 to be just as easy on the "balanced" difficulty as Civ4. Actually a bit easier as the stack of doom is goofy.

I should get some dinner before the game. I forgot that there was a game on.
  16. All part of the fun. Though he brings it on himself.
  17. Heh, it's bad design for the game to just abort because a character is missing
  18. Jedi Power Battles was fun! I have also heard very little good about Obi-Wan. I remember there being some hoopla because part of cancelling the PC version of it was a public memo from Lucasarts stating a recommittment to quality on the PC side.
  19. What's Battlefront 2's jedi combat really like?
  20. I tried going back into the first thread. He was mostly just laughing hysterically. Volourn seemed quite upset, as did roshan.
  21. Errr, I was looking at it just from a "What is Armor Class" point of view. I felt it was rather PnP/CRPG neutral.
  22. I am quite sure that these people make up a significant portion of the AD&D community. My apologies.
