  1. Lots.... Warriors of the Eternal Sun, Shadowrun, Buck Rogers, Pirates!, and even Sword of Vermillion and Super Hydlide are better than the Ultima 7 SNES port. A very good strategy RPG on the Genesis is Warsong. That is one friggin awesome game. EDIT: Probably Rings of Power too.. I have heard good stuff about it but never played it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Calling Pirates! an RPG now? I suppose. I wouldn't really be able to pigeon hole the game into any genre really....except maybe sandbox.
  2. Actually, I didn't think it was that obvious because I assumed that you were referring to the total package of NWN. Is it fair to hold the NWN OC up against Baldur's Gate 1&2 when it's clear much of the design and effort went into areas other than the OC? If you enjoyed the NWN package, are they still resting on their laurels living off of past success? Did you play the first game?
  3. Someone buy this man a drink!
  4. True, it is German. Perhaps I should have just said "command of language." It did seem appropriate And yes, I think Epiphany was a plant as well. I've seen it before, especially during elections.
  5. No....I never said kiss their ass. Let's not take things to the extreme here. Though I am skeptical that you were initially as critical towards NWN as you seem to be now, in order to be so excited for the sequel. A sequel likely in production because of the merits of the original game. I suppose it's not impossible, but I find it difficult to think that someone would be so interested in a sequel of a game he didn't particularly care for.
  6. Given your command of the English language, I have a feeling 'putsch' was pretty deliberate?
  7. I don't know enough about either.
  8. Though seriously, I had no idea Angel of Darkness was #6! in the franchise. Wowsers.
  9. You mean the marketing power of voluptuous women no doubt.
  10. The recruitment guys from EA said they suspect the PS3 to be #1 again when they came to my University. They didn't mention a percentage though.
  11. Though Volurn does have a point. The fansite you spend so much time running is being made by a company that received a leg up by making a sequel to a Bioware game, and the game that you so avidly follow through its development is because of a Bioware game. Surely you must have enjoyed NWN at least a little bit in order to create a NWN2 news site. EDIT: Darque's ninja bunny snuck in between somehow.
  12. I have heard that the PS3 is indeed pretty powerful.
  13. But KOTOR 2 was playable to the end.
  14. Though without Bioware you wouldn't be getting a sequel to which you have dedicated so much of your time and interest in either.
  15. I enjoyed TR2, but never really played any of the other ones.
  16. NHL

An interesting observation, is that the Oilers took more days to reach 53 games in this "Olympic compressed schedule" than they did in 2003-2004. I think it's been a bit exaggerated the impact the Olympic year is having on the scheduling. Especially when I've seen teams have pretty much entire weeks off at some point.
  17. Seems like a needle in a haystack. Are you making a Jefferson for NWN2?
  18. Heh, strategy is definitely not the appropriate word. A nitpicker would say they are real time tactical games
  19. Make sure it looks like this in your shortcut: "D:\Games\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe" -console With quotes and everything exactly as they are. The D:\Games stuff is just my directory, replace with yours. Do not put -console inside the quotes like so: "D:\Games\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe -console" It has to be outside of the quotes.
  20. Again......Team Gizka would actually have to be taking credit for the work created. And I think it's a stretch to think that people are now associating KOTOR 2 with the Restoration Project. Sorry, but you seem to be talking out of your derriere.
  21. I believe the term you are looking for, for most RTS games, is mechanistic
  22. Though I do think they should allow planes to spot submarines.
  23. Well, I'll keep checking back until you do. Start thowing temper tantrums!
  24. Of course I had the Pentagon, with barracks, Vassalage, and Theocracy. Actually one of my Noble games I had fallen behind techwise (because of wars) to the Indians. When I invaded them, I was typically using Cavalry and Riflemen, against his infantry. But because of the huge amount of upgrades I could give my guys, everyone had +25% against gunpowder and varying levels of +Strength, Armor (he did have the odd tank) and so forth. Despite being technologically inferior by a small bit, I was still able to do very well because of the effective experience my troops all had. It was very satisfying.
