  1. Spore came out in September 2008. Fallout 3 came out in October 2008. I don't know where you got the idea it was out 6 months before Fallout 3. At best you have two months difference, since it was early September vs Late October. Good find on the numbers. A million+ units on the PC is in the area that I would expect. As for assuming the sales numbers, I try not to assume. The rate of sales flattens out pretty quickly. Too bad they don't have the PC sales there. Optimally it'd be best to have units sold at POS outlets, but that'd likely be exceptionally hard to track. I'll concede the point. Looks like Fallout 3 did really well. The X-Factor I have there is the assumption (haha I'm a hypocrite) that I have that the game probably did quite well through digital distribution such as Steam.
  2. Wait, it'd be a dumb copout for them to do dragon's differently?
  3. It makes sense why it's called the Archdemon if you play through the game.
  4. Alllllllllviiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin!
  5. Still...i really dont think that the game can be as good as the trailer graphically. Just another trick of Bio-Ware trying to get more buyers. Unlikely. But you're delusional if you think only BioWare does this. It's a cinematic trailer, and perhaps the type of thing you'll see at the beginning of the game. Kind of like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMGiEYEfdkg As for the stylized graphics, I support the decision. KOTOR is hardly graphically cutting edge, even when it came out, and KOTOR 2 certainly is not cutting edge. Neither affected my enjoyment of either game though.
  6. Cuba is a functional democracy Cuba is a functional democracy Cuba is a functional democracy Cuba is a functional democracy Cuba is a functional democracy l0llip0p! Yes, filled democratic institutions and traditions, ready to blossom like spring flowers. ROFL I snort laughed when I saw that.
  7. True...but the game would have many glitches and crashes. Also have you seen the screenshots for the game? The lightsaber handles look bigger than what there hands can hold. LOL, PCs at this stage are significantly more powerful than the 360 or PS3 graphically. The large hilts have since been downsized.
  8. Then why so mad that BioWare is NOT making a KOTOR 3?
  9. Um...... Bioware killed KOTOR. I despise them. They also gave you KOTOR.
  10. Hahaha I'm just speechless
  11. Haha. Though I actually don't mind forced party members
  12. As much as I love KOTOR, I agree that Baldur's Gate II was a significantly better game. It was longer, better written, with significantly more challenging combat. The only real thing KOTOR had over BG2 is that I am a huge fan of the SW universe, as well as graphics (and only in player models, the prerendered backgrounds of BG2 were still super awesome).
  13. So if the game is buggy with a weak ending we won't blame Sega?
  14. As long as you can make the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs.
  15. An important thing to consider: BioWare made KOTOR by not doing what their fans wanted them to do, which was make Baldur's Gate 3.
  16. Is it? You sound so sure of yourself.
  17. So do you just download pirated copies of EA games to boost the download stats and "stick it" to EA? Because that just seems like a silly venture to me. oh so you are now accusing me of pirating aswell... No, I asked you a question.
  18. I can't think of any BioWare games that I've played that I haven't enjoyed.
  19. The annoying thing with Rogue Squadron's Trench Run is that it had turns in it. I loved X-Wing's trench run which was literally full throttle and keep those TIE's off your back!
  20. Well, for all intents and purposes, the rumour I heard was that KOTOR 3 was canceled for The Force Unleashed.
  21. Never played Shadows of the Empire unfortunately. Though the best thing I heard about it was the land speeder mission (which were missions I did enjoy in Rogue Squadron).
  22. The disappointing thing is that, as schedules seem to be tight enough as it is, it seems we now are also holding development studios accountable for spending even more resources to have proper error responses to those that pirate the game. The thing about Mamoulian's link (which was an interesting read), was that setting up that copy/crack protection scheme wasn't just the flip of a switch. It posed serious complications for the project.
