That's the thing - I'm not sure if you actually can. But there's a dialogue option along the lines of "How much for your dagger?" To which he tells you to piss off and ends the conversation. After a second attempt at asking him the option disappears. I'm sure I read someone claim that they got it off him with Delver's Row +5 but it hasn't worked for me yet, and I can't find the thread where it was mentioned. Could be there's also quest completion requirements, or could just be a hint at the fact he has a really cool weapon. I'll try again after I've finished all the Delver's Row quests and see if it's any different. Possibly also Disposition and/or class restricted (there is an Assassin only option when you first meet him - haven't played an Assassin through yet though). As far as I know if u speak to him as an assassin and tell him that you also are an assassin Rust will tell you that you won't have any need for him then and he disappears. But last time I spoke to him and told him that I am an assassin was in vanilla.

IMO the biggest pro of going single class barb is neither HoF or blood surge but Barbaric Retallation. It's brutal! keep deflection low with high armor and healers supporting him and just send him into the masses and watch him destroy evertything. Stack gear on him that has a chance to hurt them when they crit him. Grab vengeful defeat, equip Effigy's Husk and Ragged Cloak or Cloak of Seven Bolts, this is going to severly hurt the enemies if they knock him out.

Only works if enemies have buffs running u can leech time from It has actually zero effect on Barring Death's Door (just checked on Rotghasts + Broodmother who casts Devotions on them). Salvation of Time is obviously bugged: if you apply it for the first time it gives you +20 secs instead of +10. Only the second appliance will give you +10 secs. So for the second time it's actually better to cast Barring Death's Door again because its duration is usually 10+ secs at higher levels while Salvation doesn't scale at all. I was afraid of that, since strand of favor also has zero effect on it I assume that barring doesn't count as a "beneficial effect" for some reason. But then again, how can salvation of time work with it? O_o

Hmm very interesting...how long was it lasting? highly depending on ur Int but u can have ~40sec x2 of immortality per fight. My Zealot played around with this. I can chain with about 4 minutes with potion of last stand, check 10 min Fire Dragon Fight 1 Nemnok Cape - 20 Sec 1 Potion - 20 Sec - Salvation of Time + 20 Sec 2 Death Door - 20 Sec 2 Potion - 20 Sec - Salvation of Time + 20 Sec 3 Death Door - 20 Sec 4 Potion - 20 Sec - Salvation of Time + 20 Sec 5 Death door 20 Sec But the potion lasts only for 6sec iirc? Also yeah if u use an empower point u can obviously chain it longer.

Very cool ideas, but this look like game mechanic changes :D Only cipher spells can changed to self target, there already existed mod on nexus. When I written about changes I mean for example add quick slot from Arms Bearer because now this ability pretty useless and no-one pick it Oh i see, yeah i have no idea what is and what is not easy to mod :D

But Frostseeker is just a joke when compare it with your Watershaper's Focus + Twin Shot combo There was no twin shot, it was a multiclass. Also frostseeker + Twin Shot is very far from a joke. I suggest to play as pure ranger, that why I written about Twin Shot :D Frostseeker + Twin Shot give us 120 DM from projectiles and ~ 150 AOE Did you test Watershaper's Focus combo :D It increase DM for each enemy in AOE which can produce over 400 AOE I have played Pure ranger and here is the build On the rothghasts no storm scroll were used, hardly a joke considering the much quicker atk speed compared to rod with modal.

I'd like it if healing multiplier applied to the healing generated by dmg to healing conversions. Would make Concenhauts draining staff a lot more interesting in certain builds. As well as the chanters dmg to healing chant. I'd like it if single class characters recieve more resources. As of right now too much is too heavily favouring multiclassing. I'd like it if backstab were reworked into a multiplying modifier instead of additive so it remains viable throughout the game, a raw lash for example. (obviously not 100% tho ) I'd like it if Corpse Eaters could "loot" meat from eatable enemies and use as consumables in combat for the same effect as using the skill. I'd like it if Ciphers could use their spells on themselves that could before only target allies, such as painlink and painblock for example. I also do not like that there are so many pierce resist/immune enemies, a proper spear thrust generates a lot of force, its not like we are sticking needles into skeletons (alltho the game suggests it). A saber for example would never penetrate a full plate armor, while i dagger or stiletto would be used to target the weakspots, yet most enemies seems to be resistant to pierce more then others. (also why are daggers doing slash dmg?)

A berserker is better with melee because 1. The hit to crit conversion from berserker frenzy work only for melee and 2. Carnage works only with melee. Barbaric blow does work with ranged. With enchanted squids grasp (20% action speed when facing 3+ enemies and also immunity to flanked) together with frenzy and bloodlust makes for a pretty quick caster. And also when u get higher lvl Bloodthirst is just amazing on a caster with good AoE nukes.
