Quest parties disappearing?
Hannibal_PJV replied to Kgk4569's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
The questing characters goes to experienced part of the character selection. You have to each time select those characters again. -
Hmmm... For poison pill you could try to collect more thieves tools. Also augury and spy classes would be usefull to get. Masterwork tool is the best. The trap has difficulty of 6 to close so good dexterity Also help to close locations. You have reasonable good gear for your level. But some adjustements could make it easier. You have some allies that does not give explore.mged rid of them so you can explore faster. Father Santhos is only exception, because he can get other explore cards back to the deck.

No, EA is in the dark side! But it has to be balanced so that free play is fun and possible, but that those who pay will benefit From it and that the company gets enough income so that They can pay the salarakas and get income. If there is no income, there will never be more pathfinder games or even this game may be canceled before we have all six adventures or that the game will never get patches to fix bugs because the developer founds out that it is not economically sensible to support this game. At this moment you can easily farm all the gold to unlock everything in no time and that is a Little too fast IMHO. So there has to be better balance to it. If it is too hard to earn anything free to play players will quite as I did with that Starwars game that I refered to, because you don't progress. It is hard thing to do right. Ps. We seems to be about the same age ;-) old players never die! They just get slow...

Duplicated characters Are not good in non experienced croup. In the experienced characters every Group has different version of each character, so there it is just as it should be. The best is to give each experienced character a nice Name ( you can rename experienced characters. So for example if you have 3 Harsks They could be named like: - Harks the dragon slayer - Keen eye Harsk - Gert (Harsk twin brother) It help to identify those different Harsk From each others.

This game has a learning curve. Your winning persentage sound like normal to me. With 6 player mode you have to chose who do what very carefully and keep really good pace. 3-4 character is easier to learn the game. I think that if your dead characters gained experience, it was a bug, but can not be sure. But as I said permadeath is at this moment the best way to play quest mode, or you have to be sure that nobody dies, so you have to calculate you remaining cards vs your hand size very carefully. In 4 player Group I take 2-3 cures to the Group when you build you starting deck. For 6 player I would definitely put all 4 cures to the croup!
-
You only gain experience if you win scenario and only those characters that Are alive gain experience. For my experience: IMHO the best way to play quest is to play permadeath on. So if you start with 6 players, Little by Little your croup gets smaller as characters dye out. So it will be like a story where some characters survive and become creat heroes and some just dye. Normally you could take new hero to the croup, but that seems to be bugged and the new 0-level hero is so much weaker than your 20-40 level other heroes that at this moment I would play only with one croup that leave any characters who dyes rest in peace. I don,t have killed any characters so far in quest mode and Are now in level 13 in heroic mode. Maybe I should play in the legendary, so that there would be character deaths... Hmmm... Maybe next party.

Also damage From wisdom check is not a combat damage. Is it wisdom damage? Why do I feel so dump now? ) -
Hmmm in Star wars Galaxy of heroes "Free play" is that you have to pay real money 49€ for four characters. Or collect 50 character chards for that character. As a free to pay mode in 6 month I have managed to find 0-8 shards to spesific characters. So it would take 3-10 years to free to play to get some free characters. In pathfinder you can get free character in one day of play... So yeah... The price is not in balance.

Not sure about that. The above link after ps. mark is all that we have about quest mode and it content. Have you seen card that you don't own? I have season pass, so I can not say... But it would be guite strange if the content in the quest mode is not tied to your card pool. I have only seen treasure cards that I own. Not others. So that is based on your card pool so deduction says that other cards Are Also tied to your card pool. All in all we have been gives very Little information about quest mode.

Hmm... The veterans at least Are not scaling. The same problem as in the beta. https://www.dropbox.com/s/cuz29eylhbk8b6s/Photo%208.5.2016%200.38.01.png?dl=0 It can be bug. Relative character tier of characters should tricker the adventure level modifiers in the quest mode, so that it can scale with the players. So if the average tier level of characters is for example 2 then thegamethe should consider the adventure level as 2 -+ 1 aka something between 1-3 depending on how hard the the developers want the game to be. If it should be the same as in real game, the adventure level should be the relative tier level of heroes +1. And the veteran in the picture should have combat check 12 against tier 1 characters. Lets see what happens "level 2" aka 20 and more. If there is not scaling quest mode would get quite boring quite soon because heroes would just walk over everything They see... But have to see those 21 level scenarios first and if there is not scaling there, maybe in the next patch. The quest mode the one not so ready in the beta, because it was made after the story mode was don't, because the story mode is the Main course. So this may develop a guite a lot untill it is "ready". But even in the beta and even more now, te quest mode is definitely fan addition to the game! All in all the characters scale quite just like They do in the real or more like in adventure society game. They get deck upgrades along the way and some extras. They get one skill upgrade and They get one power upgrade and finally one card slot upgrade in every 10 "levels". So bacically characters Are as experienced at level 11 as They Are in the real game after level 1 so They have just achieved level 2. And They Are in the same level as starting level 3 character when They Are in level 21. So in power Comparative power level it is actually like this: 0-9 is the same as level 1 10-19 is the same as level 2 20-29 is the same as level 3 in the real pathfinder adventure society season game. So characters Are scaling up. But we have to see evidence if the banes Also scale up. And based on that Mersenary above at least some game elements don't scale yet.

Yes! You will see treasure chest items in the quest mode. I have found Dilettante in the quest mode. https://www.dropbox.com/s/8dl4elmuwoza4lm/Photo%207.5.2016%2023.29.07.png?dl=0 And some more: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8zexeggcl9aytf9/Photo%208.5.2016%200.44.34.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/ys86x9c07ddo64c/Photo%208.5.2016%200.47.56.png?dl=0 In the beta the card appearance was some what more fusier than in Story mode so you could see some card even above you characters levels. But player guite to quest mode by Obsidian would be nice, but I think that most people Are busy making new tutorials, correcting bugs, making new content etc... I will try collect all information there is From the beta notes, but that is quite obsolete at this moment. And there was not much... Ps. I did find that post... I copied in this discussion. http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/86677-is-there-any-kind-of-level-scaling-in-the-game/

In beta I did get even level 2 cards in quest mode. I try to find some of those in this release versio. No Luck so far, but the odds Are against me. There Are so Many level B cards in the game...

Yes the vault is dynamic. If you don't have spesific character in your croup there can be new cards in the vault. The vault change depending on who Are in the party and what those characters Are carrying. So if Kyra has the flaming mace and she is not in the party, the flaming mace appear in the wault. If Kyra comes back, the mace it not in the vault anymore. If someone gets the mace while Kyra is away. And Kyra comes back, there Are now two flaming mace in the Group. The next time when croup can encounter flaming mace again is when there in none in the current croup.
