  1. I always thougt that you were a warrior inside , you runned out of costant recovery?
  2. Ok i understand that bugs are always irritating and you can be rigtly angered by them, but claiming that a build is "ruined" only because you can't apply again a prostitute bonus sounds like making it a way bigger deal than it actually is imho. On the other side the game still contains a lot of issues that are still not solved after years from the release, and that should not be the case.
  3. Are you sure you can't longer sleep with them? They should appear in the house of caed nua ( second floor) and still be able to give you the boon, as far as i remember
  4. Honestly: how you can judge the "freedom" of a game with a beta with a little playable area and 3 quest aviable?
  5. Look, for the traps you only need mech 1, you will be able to open a serpentine path trough the gliphs. They need half mech 1 and half mech 3 for disable, but even with mech 1 you can make trough Edit: and soloing you will need high mech anyway ( i go always for at lest 8, for be able to reach 11 with gloves and duengon delver). 11 let you find all the durgan ingots and see and disable 99% traps of the game
  6. Afaik might works. I tried something like this in the past, the game will become tedious after the end of act 2, since you will encounter swarms of enemies wich are super boring to hack and slash one by one. You will have to split a lot and rest a lot for most fights. Or go super sneaky.
  7. I have to say it: healing bonus doesn't work with the healing that comes from weapon dmg. Nice build anyway.
  8. The problem with charm is that you actually heal the target if spell is successful. Don't know why. Moreover odema have also high defences, so is quite hard to charm and hope that he dies. Antipathetic field is much faster and safer, you just have to target someone behind Odema.
  9. Actually is quite easy to do it with almost all classes ( i start all my solo run with a joyous slaugter). This is the Dr. <3 80% success guide: General steps are: - pick both healing potions from the locked chests - buy a brigantine and a pike or staff and a bow from the merchant - recover the beer and drink it - sell all calisca stuff, so she is bare handed - equip the gaun ring ( not necessary but useful) - DO NOT DUMP CONST Put yourself slight south west relatively from heodan, there is a tree with 2 little roads that make a corner of 90°. You have to stay halfway in the vertical alley. Drink your beer. Send calisca to punch Heodan with prone attack. Heodan will be proned ( near always), calisca will be attacked by some commoners, all other guy will try to reach you. If you found the right spot, ONLY 1 OF THEM will actually attack you. He will be your personal human shield, while he attack you with the lowest dmg possible, you can slowly poke to death everyone else. If they stop aggroing you, just move slightly or swich to bow to attack a random guy. Try to Leave the caravan guards at the end, so the effect of veteran recovery will run out.use healings if needed. Nobody is smart enough to reach you from the other alley, they deserve to die. With some class, es wizard ( chill fog), chiper ( anthipatetic field) things are much faster. Imho barbarian in actually one of the most difficult to pull out, since your aoe dmg will always kill the precious meat shield.
  10. Terrorized is really strong now. Also very flavourful
  11. Ryona btestplate will be a huge boost ( is like permanent +20 accuracy, +20 to all def). Grab it asap. When against a large group: find a corner. If only 1-3 people can attack you ( plus the raged one) you should be fine.
  12. Svef is good with a dump resolve build, since that means just a plain +15% attack speed.
  13. The "problem" of shood in faith is actually that it heals you way too much. You usually want to activate battle forged asap in fights, but if the enemies crits you, shood in faith activates and usually mantain you over 50% of life for the duration of the spell, gimping your dmg output. In some fights they are useful to prevent your death, but often all the healing is just not required. Long march boots gives you a risible amount of +15 life but a much more needed +2 to athletism, boosting second wind. Second wind in this build is very strong, since the things usually work this way: - enemies hit you with alpha strykes and you go fast under 50% life - battle forge activates with full wounds ( massive retaliation dmg/ +4 armor/ + 10 armor from iron wheel) - having massive endurance (600+), beign under 50% means still to have 200-300 endurance, and with massive DR your endurance will go down very low ( at least lower than enemies killing themself while hitting you) - IF you reach red zone of endurance : activate second wind! So you will heal by a huge amount and often still remain under 50%, so your retail dmg doesn't stop Shood in faith hinders the whole cycle. auto healing with this build << healing on demand Edit: yes, enervating blows
  14. Killing with steadfast is not a big deal. Sure, champions boon is nice, but not a game changer. The main point of steadfast is the fear / terror immunity vs dragons. The dmg outputs of this build are :spamming torment reach( that is a full attack) and the retaliation effects ( mainly battle forged). In my experiece is always better to dual wield, if you use only steadfast with one hand to boost the champions boon chance you are losing a big chunk of your dmg output ( much bigger than the boost that you could receive with champions boon itself.
  15. In 3.7 things are working normally. Your better option atm is to disable the last pach ( turn off the beta program from steam option). Is clearly a bug
  16. Very nice idea, you should alredy post it as a build ( since it is ). I have only a couple of humble suggestion: - as boots you can even use echo of affliction ( you found them in gavalin lab), they can be a nice alternative over animancer boots - there is also the new nice saber from the deadfire merchant, that gives you a 10% chance of crushing wave. 10% is a bit low, but the spell in itself is very powerful. For max pawnage effect you can go also for shodding sheet (? The mantle that do a crushing wave on hit on yourself), obviusly only if you are not solo. - with all your strenght, int and accuracy when buffed, an interesting thing to add could be a plain and simple godshantyur+shield, so you can permastun
  17. Perhaps this is something that has changed since you last played? https://ibb.co/kjb5HG https://ibb.co/mTTGrb I enchanted it immediately upon picking it up and it automatically added the extras once I met their requirements. Edit: Champion's Boon isn't proccing... >< Oh my... Have you used a console command like freerecipestoggle? All soulbound items were non enchantable for sure until 3.07 version, this should be a bug. Anyway a durgan refined and burning lash steadfast is indeed stronger... If you don't apply your enchantments champions boon works?
  18. Oh come on you are still a monk, have some pride. Swich back to the basics: punch / torment reach them to death. Crush DR of eyeless is just 5 more than slash, it doesn't matter much. If you took also force of anguish is a good moment to use it, expecially to prone them when they are charging the fire death ray ( the only really dangerous attack that they do). Also bring with you a +40% healing rest bonus before the fight ( before enter the tend of the iron flail fortress) and a stock of potions : 5-10 vital essence, 5-10 major healing ( purple ones), that should make you unkillable long enough. My only caveat: split them at the start of the fight, that is important. After all i belive that the eyeless ambush is the most difficult fight in wm2 togheter with llengrath. Edin: ninjaed... Also the redeemer is good, Boeroer is right
  19. What lvl are you? Did you upscaled? Edit: your fortitude is relatively low, so you are underleveled or you forgot to use all the right boosts ( food, rest bonus, prostitutes ecc). Fenwalers are very good, if you don't kill any ogre in the cavern you will find a ogre merchant outside the cave that sells them. When against hard cc spamming foes, drink a big yellow potion at the start of the fight can be a life saver. Or use an evocation like beetles or shadows to eat the alpha strikes.
  20. Actually, 0 recovery is not attainable by the dual-wielding. It provides a multiplier, not a straight bonus. It can easily put you low and it can negate lots of the other negatives, but it can't get you in that zero zone and, actually, the more action discounts you're getting, the worse it becomes. I.e., if you have full 100% recovery, dual-wielding cuts 50% from that. But if you already have 50 only, you're getting nothing but 25. So actual speedsters (if they'll be present) won't bother with dualing as much. The UI lists 0 recovery if you dual wield with 1300 dexterity (1250 isn't enough...). That said, combining > -50% recovery from +action speed bonuses (calculated as x/(1+x)) with dual wielding doesn't give you 0 recovery, so that's not additive. But it doesn't seem to be multiplicative either, since it's giving less of a total reduction in recovery than would be expected. Probably it's just working like poe1, where dex was multiplicative, and dual wielding + dual wielding talent, + potions+ items was more or less addittive ( in reality it was a bit complex, it took to us, and particulary to Maxquest, more than 1 year to figure out the correct mechanichs). I think that now, if you have dual wielding (50%)+ dual wielding talent (20%)+ a potion drunk with high alchemy skill (30%) AND have no armour you can reach 0 recovery whetever dex you have.
  21. They should make longer attack animation and slower recovery time, to reach a ratio similar to PoE1. As other said 0-recovery is not OP per se, but while in poe1 that meaned slight more than 2x dmg, now is between 4x and 5x dmg. That is OP. And we can still observe only a minor part of the game ( no speed enchanted weapons, no high lvl abilities, a small selection of potions, ecc) so i can bet that in the full game 0 recovery will be achieveble with more or less the same difficult than poe1 or even easier ( for the happyness of Andrea)
  22. If you use it melee with 2 sabres the effect are comparable to FoD ( you can even have +20 accuracy). So instead to have +50% burning and +25% corrosive lashes applied instant, you have a raw dmg dot that tiks for 50% of your melee dmg for some seconds. I also think that is better go back at primary attack, it feels a bit op at the moment.
  23. King of cc crown in poe 1 is still in debate between chiper(mind block, silent scream, amplified wave), druid (storms, overwhelming wave, ...) and wiz. Anyway +1 for the resume
  24. Sanguine plate / coat of ill payment : better quality aviable and piercing proof ( piercing proof imho is better than crushing. Crush proof with plate made your defenses more "rounded", but if you play solo, in most scenarios only 2-3 enemies can engage you in melee, while much more can hit by range. And more or less all the ranged damage come in piercing form) Whisper of yen : better quality aviable/ fire lash Other items are all non enchantable ( soulbound ). Not much discussion because there are not many options
  25. Yes try it lvl 8. If you use aru braker as armour ( the red brigantine, +1 speed) and a farmers cream as food (+2 might, +1 speed), you should be able to run back very fast in the beginning of the fight. Doing that with a bit of luck just monk and rogue come after you so you can split the group a little. Also figurines are helpful ( beetles+ shadows). But all of this is not in the spirit of the build, so is better to waith a little more and crush them all togheter with your might.
