  1. Hello, Congrats on the launch, just finished downloading the game! I bought the ultimate fig edition, but can't find the keys for the season pass/dlc on my account page? Are these being added over time or is my account bugged?
  2. Negativity aside, just finished downloading the game and about to install. I haven't been this excited about a game in a LONG time, I feel like a high-schooler again ! Will let you know what I think as soon as its installed ! Enjoy the game, all !
  3. Well, seems the website's servers are overloaded, can't get to my rewards. Shows my pledge but nothing in the products page. Typical Obsidian launch I suppose, haven't even gotten to the game and there's already game-breaking bugs...
  4. Ok, tbh I think the people here have just skipped forward to the No and haven't said why. I think its a great idea but would be nearly impossible to make it work. 1. Its an old license , . If theres no Faerun / forgotten realms MMORPG I doubt there would be a planescape rpg.Not enough consumer interest. Wouldn't be much fun if only you and I played it. 2. Not enough market data to make it viable, this is linked to the first one. I would say its at least 10 years from even the slightest chance of happening, and thats assuming PST gets picked up by WoTC, some books come out. Make that 15 years... 3. The magic of PS:T was the story and dialogue, granted the setting was awesome, but once you take away the Torment you're just left with the setting. Once you add leetness to the setting you lose even more. Though I agree with the fact that there hasn't been an mmorg that has captured the Urban feel yet. 4. The people who liked PST would probably rather see a HUGE rpg than an mmorg. 5. Since faerun has apparent been seperated from planescape, part of the appeal of visiting faerun is taken out. But now i won't be negative, i'd love to play it , I just won't get my hopes up.
  5. How come the other endings weren't included ? Was it choice or necessity ?
  6. I finished Planescape Torment and I couldn't help but wonder what happened to the chars in the game, was N.O. dead and unable to leave the Blood war till he serves his time or is he stuck in it forever ?
  7. Well a form of a lightsaber is definately possible, a very very powerful laser but it won't be exactly like a light saber, a laser goes on for a larger distance so I think maybe it would have to be a mirror at one end that could reflect the beam making it twice as strong . Or just a really strong piece material that the laser wouldn't cut through. Maybe like this : ______________ ===||------------------]| But in that case you cant really stab, only cut.
  8. The planescape setting is pretty interesting.
  9. This is tough, I suppose the Muslim empire right about the time of the Mongols. Mainly because there was alot of land , good society, strong in their faith when needed, and with a good amount of potential. If I can't choose that then maybe north africa/Mediterranean My advisors would be : Imam Ali - For religious, political, and social advice. (Or the prophet mohd. pbuh) I understand this choice seems a bit extreme but if Im commanding muslims might as well have one of those on my side, though chances are they would take the throne from me. Saladin - Military advisor Economist Civil Engineer Someone to help with culture/science. Not sure who though.
  10. I saw it before but I didn't make the connection since I finished HotU before I heard of JE
  11. Darn I just uninstalled Civ 4 ! Maybe I should consider reinstalling it...
  12. Timing may be a problem , but I think we can get a time thats suitable for all of us.
  13. I liked Kreia but I felt like I was constantly trying to get her approval, you just can't please her. Save a family , she calls you weak and spineless. If you kill them all she calls you merciless and brutal to the point of incompetence.
  14. I really hope venom makes an appearance in this one.
  15. I'd like to hurt him but unfortunately im Chaotic Good.
  16. Dark Side Devotee I can see that the dark side seethes within you, and your will is quite strong. For one such as you, the path of the Sith is not one you should take. But, as a dark side devotee, you will become more powerful in the dark side than you can even imagine. You will rule the weak and the frightened with a cruel hand, and carve your dreaded name across entire planets.
  17. I don't know what these terrorists are thinking. Im hearing some theories that its all an american plot to get Sunnis to fight Shiites. Whether these are valid I have to say the terrorists are just idiots now, its not American vs nonamerican, its muslim vs other muslim. Its horrible. Even im starting to worry. Im an arab, and I was in an airplane the other day with my sister when a small group of bearded turban wearing fundamentalist-looking arabs walk into the plane. My sister whispered into my ear "****, I hope they're not terrorists or anything." Yes, its that bad, that an arab muslim is afraid of other arabic muslims.
  18. Im not so much a product of one book or movie as much as I am a product of many, but I would say that the following books/movie had an effect on who I am : Indy and the Fate of Atlantis Indy movies Star Wars My 4th grade social studies book Grim Fandango Monkey Island Seinfeld (though its not a movie) RL Stine books I'd say these got me started, there are many things that changed me slightly on the way , as my thinking would change slightly with each book or movie.
  19. Great idea. As for locations I'd like them to be new , but I want a few of them to be old. It would be nice to see what some planets look like after all this time. I liked seeing Dantooine in K2 for that reason.
  20. Yes. I did mean the new testament. I've nothing to say about the old testament. As for the proof of Jesus being God's son , its in the Bible. This is the thing about Jesus , its difficult to say whether he said he was the son of God because he didn't write the Bible. He may or may not have said it.
  21. Im not saying Jesus did nothing , he inspired the Bible, layed down the rules and contributed largely. But he did none of the writing, unlike Mohammed (mohammed didn't write any of it , but was around when it came down from God. Mohammed recited it to the muslims) EDIT : I mean the new testament.
  22. Well the Bible came after the death of Christ ,and though he contributed to it in terms of concepts and ideals he didn't do much of the writing or the actual syntax of the thing. He inspired Christianity ,certainly, but alot of the basic things had nothing to do with Jesus. For example: Jesus never says hes the son of God, he did say "Father why have you forsaken me" but he never said "I am God's son".
  23. Most of christianity isn't so much Jesus as much as it is the apostles.
