  1. Not all of the issues, but, yes, this is a good step in the right direction.
  2. My guess would be the earbuds as I have a more expensive, third-party set and my iPod sounds fine.
  3. I won.
  4. Incorrect or, at the least, debatable. Although this is not the time or place to talk about that - this forum does not like talking about such things, due to piracy concerns, and thus cannot help with those issues.
  5. Have you tried moving the ms32.dll from KotOR I to KotOR II? That might help. If you do not have it here's a link.
  6. I wouldn't use it seeing as it is, at best, dubious seeing as it looks like a collection of other mods that does not credit the original authors - but that's just me.
  7. Not exactly, they have been striking ships that are a significant distance from the original area.
  8. I suspect he/she meant Diamond.
  9. Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 2 also "recycled KOTOR" - Humm.... I guess they had plan for it way back then. Anyways, Jade Empire, and practically every Bioware game, handles the plot better than KotOR did (not to say that KotOR is a bad game).
  10. Sounds like it was fun, were they filled with eatables?
  11. I agree with Samm, so far the i7 cores have not, in the case of gaming, shown themselves to preform better than the Core 2 Duos.
  12. Yep. Clear Sky Link #1 Clear Sky Link #2 Clear Sky Link #3 Clear Sky Link #4 Oh I "jumped down someone's throat" did I? That's odd. I can only find Syraxis mentioning that he would like a Steam version, me mentioning I would not like it to be Steam-only, and Syraxis jumping up and trying to prove how great Steam is. Anyways, I'll write more later.
  13. VAC ban, disabled account, hijacking, phishing, etc; The list goes on and on. True, but the likelihood of that happening is far less than the likelihood of something happening to a Steam account. Also you could be compensated for a game collection by an insurance company if your house was destroyed - it would be unorthodox but doable. I have to agree with Mamoulian War, I cannot recall ever doing that. Direct2Drive? Steam doesn't sell that. EDIT: I also like choosing the patches I use as some of them do not play well with mods while others do. Steam forces you to update and has no "roll-back" option.
  14. Jade Empire - so far it's on par with, or better than, KotOR.
  15. I hope you're joking.
  16. Except for the ones that do, including some that have no limits when bought off-the-shelf. Yep, so if anything happens to that account you're ****ed. Nice system if you're willing to put all your eggs in one basket. Hummm... Doesn't the fact that you even need to put this show that it has a DRM issue?
  17. This one is good too...
  18. True. But I was comparing it to the limited activation versions of SecuROM, etc.
  19. I don't. Steam is just another form of DRM, albeit a slightly more attractive one than most.
  20. Yep, another game with useless, annoying DRM.
  21. However, unless the change was applied directly to the constitution, it could still be found to be unconstitutional.
