  1. Bloodlines II...
  2. Not that I know of, but you can use this tool to completely remove it from your system. As for the game, I'd buy it - Mass Effect is worth $20 and I would recommend getting the sequel when it comes out as well if you enjoy the original.
  3. Owe. Hope it's not too bad.
  4. Are you sure they're gone? You'll need to switch "profiles" to see your old saves if you started a new game.
  5. Until they run out of activations or find out about the system that they have bought into.
  6. No they should not as they would loose the business of people who do not like Steam.
  7. I agree with that, my point was specifically about Oblivion though. Oblivion being the "bad game" in the quote.
  8. I don't think so, but it's abandonware so I'll grab a copy and try it out - sounds interesting.
  9. Still waiting for that one to happen. The USB one or the firewall one? I do not think I've seen the latter but I have helped people rid their boxes of the USB-carried infection (it's really bad on campus PCs as most of them have crappy anti-virus programs and there are plenty of idiotic users, although that's not too hard to fix as all of those -or almost all of them- use a deep freeze system that enables you to re-set the system to it's default state with a simple re-start).
  10. Sure, that's obvious. Still, that does not change the fact that the DRM was broken almost immediately and created a large amount of negative backlash - something that might have been taken into account when they decided to make The Sims 3 use SafeDisc* and a simple disc-check instead of on-line activations. *I think it was SafeDisc, I might be wrong though.
  11. I would suspect that it might conflict but seeing as we do not know when TSLRP is going to be done I would suggest you go ahead and try 1.0c patch if you want to (although I'm not sure if this is the same patch that stole a bunch of fixes from other sites, if so I would not use it for that reason).
  12. There is still quite a bit of that, especially in the case of games that do not have official tools. I have used NWN and NWN .2da extractors on Witcher and Jade Empire files, extractors that are not official products or tools but are, instead, produced by modders for modders. Still, I would rather have more powerful tools, such as developer toolsets, as well as they enable more ambitious projects. Just compare KotOR I's selection of mods to NWN's selection and you will see why a toolset might be preferred. A Witcher .2da file I was playing with (sadly all my Witcher work was lost in a system crash):
  13. Hope that works, if not, well, we're here to help.
  14. You will find "possers" in every group of people, nor do I think websites devoted to modding (the equivalent to "stores" seeing as mods cannot be sold) is a bad thing.
  15. Try a new set of discs but use the SecuROM removal tool before you start so you have a blank slate.
  16. If a .jpeg is even in the same place as an .exe I would not open it as you can easily make it so opening one triggers the other.
  17. Maybe, it is estimated to have 3,430,682 words and that is more than the next runner-up.
  18. I would suspect that it is a SecuROM error, but if you can get a new set of discs via a return/exchange that would be worth a try as well.
  19. I would tend to agree with Kaftan and not MacCorp - modding is easier now than it has ever been in the past and, at least for me, retains it's allure.
  20. The DRM was always pointless seeing as it was bypassed right after the game was released - if not before, I cannot remember exactly when Mass Effect's was defeated.
  21. That's a lovely SecuROM error. Either that's messed up or you're using a badly cracked version.
  22. Yes, it is still there but now you can get your activations back via this tool. There are several ways of doing that, not all of them involving cracks.
  23. But it is part of the "sea of crap." Lulz.
