  1. But it is not normal for the game to make your entire system re-boot. That indicates another issue.
  2. Is your graphics card overheating? That would be my guess.
  3. Opera is now at version Ten.
  4. I would tend to agree with Gorth, the Source build Bloodlines uses is an older beta -blame Valve for not wanting to overshadow Half Life 2- and thus is more buggy than other games that use the engine. Still, it's worth a shot.
  5. The main reason I suggested Prey was because, while I did find it to a above-average game, there seems to be a upswing in positive reviews. In the last week alone I can recall at least three threads -not here mind you, they were at GoG and Steam- lamenting the game's low scores.
  6. I'm playing the demo of Nation Red - looks interesting and it's on sale on Steam. Jagged Alliance 2 is also in the works -hence the avatar- although I'm not doing that well.
  7. A shadow society dedicated to getting their KotOR III fix, fascinating! And, frankly, I think that part is absolute bunk. I spell a conspiracy theorist! Yep, we've got one. Yeah right. You're just getting funnier with each posting. Anyways, I'll write more later but you are doing nothing but leaving yourself open to attack.
  8. A) It wasn't boring. B) It wasn't boring. C) It actually was a decent game. D) It pushed some limits (id est the child killing). E) It wasn't boring.
  9. PC EDIT: But really I'd say a Wii for MC Jr.
  10. Maybe Killing Floor... I'd have to think about that question a bit longer to be sure but most likely Killing Floor.
  11. Nope. Prey is much, much better than Doom 3 - in fact the third Doom is no where near as good as this "clone."
  12. That's already a classic!
  13. Meh, go with the Good Old Games method. As for discs checks, they're avoidable and retail is much better than digital in my mind (excepting something like Good Old Games, and then it's tied).
  14. I've got something similar to that now. Rubble pack...
  15. Was this directed at Sluggy or myself?
  16. I doubt it.
  17. Oh, I thought we were talking about the attackers. My mistake. In that case I agree with you, we can only assume about the parents. In one way yes, in another no.
  18. I'm going to go shoot some people tomorrow...
  19. If that is true the inquest will find out about it, just as they will discover if some other reason was behind the boy's condition. We're not in a court of law and thus do not have to be constrained to its rules. I forget exactly where but I'm sure I can look it up again - it's been awhile. If I remember correctly 70% or so. No it's not as the condition most likely led to the crime in the first place.
  20. However, that is the case in the vast majority of cases and thus a reasonable supposition until some evidence to the contrary emerges. Incorrect. Sociopaths can be held in situations such as this one as they have proved that they are a danger to others.
  21. The attackers, in my mind, are, frankly, no longer children - they are monsters in the form of children.
  22. They should be tried and jailed (unless the are not the abusers and knew nothing). You are correct. Not necessarily, they could just be abusive - and there is no doubt in my mind about that, one or both will have been responsible for massive trauma. Most likely they hid themselves so as not to get in trouble - if you read the article they, the attackers, admit that they lured the other children to a secluded spot intentionally so the screams would not carry to where others would hear them. I have not heard about that, but then again I have only read the BBC article and not any others at the moment.
  23. I have very old cards, no idea what set or era...
