  1. I'm going to a barbecue later today and made plans to go wine tasting on Thursday - should be fun.
  2. Well I'll get my copy soon-ish and I'll be able to test the game out on x86 XP, x86 Vista, and x64 Windows 7.
  3. You should be able to go online and do that. And even if you did not the game would do that for you if you were out (giving you a choice of what machine to get rid of). Or at least that's my impression of the DRM.
  4. I'm playing some Warhammer 40k DoW II mixed with a bunch of other games while I wait for AP.
  5. Well, seeing as I do not have a 360 or PS3 and have no plans on gettign either of those, I have to vote for my favorite of the three - the PC.
  6.
  7. I entered although I suspect that there will be so many contestants that the actual chance of wining one is extremely slight.
  8. Incorrect. Those games are the exceptions to the rule and should not be viewed as the whole of Steam.
  9. Did anyone try out the co-op mode?
  10. Because there might not have been any "slant" to start with. I'd have to read the originals but from what I've seen so far it's more a "let's blame the left while sticking our ideology into school" move.
  11. It's also funny that this, unlike, say, the Constitution, is not the founding, legal document of the current United States of America.
  12. Nice! Glad things are going better.
  13. Mine should be done tonight.
  14. No, you cannot add KotOR II to your Steam account. you, can, however, add it as a non-steam game so the chat, etc. will work.
  15. Steam for Linux will be good, glad to see that they're going to try that out.
  16. This battle went rather well...
  17. And, because non-steam games can be added, you can get the "service" without the DRM - DRM that is worse than what you are arguing against.
  18. It looks like Steam lifted an .exe from pirate group for their Max Payne 2 release.
  19. Talking about cracked games, it looks like Steam lifted an .exe from pirate group for their Max Payne 2 release.
  20. Well if the DRM were tripped in a legal game then that would be a buggy mess... EDIT: I'm not saying that was the case but a similar thing was done with ARMA II and it had some issues with its Fade DRM system going off when the person was using a legal copy.
  21. As in romance-able friend? If so, good luck.
