Some people get them and others don't (or just don't realize they're getting them).

Intent also plays a factor, there's a recent case in VA where someone was found guilty for posting information because he also encouraged people to do harm (in fact a gas line was cut under the house). As pointed out, the intent so far is not clear, but depending on the details it could have been illegal to post that information.

To quote another conversation I had about this: "Yes, I agree that a better demonstration could have been made (if I were him I would have asked for a random volunteer that way there's no impetus to troll and the person consented for their information to be posted - or even better yet the guy could have data-mined himself). The way things are currently I think that the blog post, and the comments that provide more information, should be purged and possible legal action taken if it is found that the intent was to harass. The last part is going to be hard unless there is a clear "go forth and cause mayhem for this dude named X" type command and I'm not seeing it on the initial post (I've not read all the comments, and I'm not planing to, but something might be there). However I have no sympathy for those harassing and hope that they're held accountable for their actions."

**** no, there's no way in hell I'm going to give Blizzard my real name (not that I play WoW or use Battle.net, so there'd be no reason to register there in the first place). Also, as far as the moderator's information goes, shouldn't those doing the harassing be punished, if they have actually broken laws that is, and not the person who did nothing but post information? If he actively encouraged the harassing that's something, but if he merely posted the information to prove a point and did nothing else I'm not sure if the Employee could do anything but force him to take it down (provided there was a good reason, say harassment).

I've had no problems so far with Windows 7 x64 and Thief 3, although, again, it seems that it's hit-or-miss.

The 320M should be, provided you don't have the Apple version, about equal to the 9600M. You should be able to play KotOR II without too much trouble.

It's not a bad game, but it's not a great game either. Still, if you liked RE4 it's worth a try (and the port wasn't bad this time).

Alienware makes nice gaming laptops, but, as you said, they are on the expensive end of the spectrum.

How is it? Its on sale on xbla for 5 bucks right now. I would say that it's worth a $5 investment if you like Magic (I picked up the PC version for $10 - although that came with the first expansion pack, something that retails for $5, so it was really $5 per game). Sure, it doesn't have a deck builder and the opponents can be annoying, but overall it's a fun game to kill time with.

I enjoy a game of Sins from time to time -and the game it great for LANs. Meh, there's worse RTS games out there and Sins itself really isn't that bad. Although I do have all the expantions and they do change gameplay quite a bit.
