  1. Although, unfortunately, the file sometimes corrupts itself. Nor do all games work with offline mode (at least I've had issues with a few of them).
  2. Yes you did. In your first post you set up a false dichotomy. That's incorrect. Something that is unlikely to happen is unlikely to happen. Except that you're completely and utterly incorrect. It could happen, the odds are just so slight that it is extremely unlikely that it would happen. Please stop using this flawed, pointless argument that has no validity.
  3. Claims like these two: You have yet to support your claims or admit that they were incorrect (even the logical fallacy you used - something that is clearly false). You need to do that before building another case or shifting your argument. Thanks for stopping by, hope the rest of your day goes well.
  4. Again, how does that support your earlier claims? Or do you admit that those were incorrect?
  5. Even if that were true, I have no idea if someone has drawn one-hundred aces or not, what is your point? As many people have said, just because the odds are highly skewed doesn't mean that it's imposable. You're not making any sense.
  6. That very unlikely things can occur naturally - something that you seem to disagree with based on previous posts in this thread.
  7. Well, the way he set it up was, in fact, a logical fallacy (a false dichotomy). And even then, hypothetically assuming there was a supernatural force, he would have to prove it was a god or gods and not something else before he could claim this as evidence of a deity/deities. It still doesn't matter, the point still stands - just because the odds are low doesn't mean something cannot happen.
  8. Sure, but that's just adding an unnecessary factor - one that is, frankly, less likely than a naturalistic explanation.
  9. If I wanted to do it I would write a program that deals cards like Calax described many times every minute and see how long it takes for the same combination to come up - but that's really irrelevant. The fact is that just because, as I have said, the chances are low it doesn't mean that something can not happen. It will likely not happen, you could say with almost full certainty it would not happen, but that does not mean that it could not happen.
  10. No, again you are incorrect. It might happen, the odds would just be very, very, very low.
  11. If Dagon is a troll he's playing his part well and hasn't tipped his hand overly-much. Although, yes, I could see how you would think that he might be one.
  12. Incorrect. As I already said, in fact I'll just quote my last post, "just because something is improbable does not mean that it's impossible". Something might have a one-in-one-trillion chance of happening, but there's still that one-in-one-trillion chance of that something happening - there's nothing here that actually violates, quote, "the natural world".
  13. That it's a scam. The next most likely option is that she got lucky.
  14. All you have done is set up a false dichotomy. Also, just because something is improbable does not mean that it's impossible - as someone else has already said, she could have just gotten extremely lucky. Not necessarily. Atheism in itself simply is a disbelief in the existence of deity or deities. Uhhhh... What's your point, why should some random person winning, if the winning in legitimate, make me feel better? I mean, it's great for her but since I don't know her, or really anything about her other than that she won, I don't really care.
  15. The blog post about it (the "wait a few minutes" message was still showing up two hours later it seems).
  16. You should be able to use an offline account for that....
  17. Yeah, it's GOG.
  18. If I remember correctly you said this was a Warezed version of the game in your last topic. If that's the case you should try using a legal copy (or simply see if the game has in-game cheats, most games of this type do and those are easier than trainers if you're into that sort of thing).
  19. So you're saying that the people who like the new Steam are wrong?
  20. Some would say that this update was worse than the original...
  21. Yeah, boxes are great.
  22. Killed two bottles of wine with a friend.
