  1. Also, Fallout 3 does not look as bad as I was fearing - I'll probably still pick a copy up unless they use a lot of DRM or I find out it's horrible.
  2. Humm.... I cannot think of "a lot" of good EA games at the moment.
  3. I almost did that for Sins of a Solar Empire, but then I found out it was a good game and bought it for that reason as well...
  4. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.+Oblivion Lost+Homebrew Modding = Awesomeness! EDIT: Just in case you did not notice the line beneath the words, it's a link.
  5. Why don't you recruit some more, also, would you be open to some security suggestions? If so, I'll PM you.
  6. Well, one of the most serious errors -the fact that it uses full resolution textures for all the in-game items and NPC, regardless of their size and distance- would take an entire team to fix since every texture, and maybe even the engine itself, would need to be edited.
  7. I doubt that would cause any problems for the core game, although you might need to add the updater. As for Service Pack Two and Three, they incorporate some of the protection features found in Vista that were not included in XP - and thus you may have to have administrator rights to install some programs.
  8. Nope, I believe the smallest amount of VRAM it shipped with was 128 - but the point is moot if you look at his, or her, video specifications. You might want to try upgrading your drivers, or, if you have already done so, downgrading them.
  9. Well, since cracking consoles -and, yes, it is cracking in this case since chipping and ROMing are illegal activities on some systems- is hard and, in most cases, prone to error, I would not compare that to modding PC games.
  10. Um... Ever since the dawn of modern gaming modders have been taken into consideration - just look at Doom. Exactly, the majority of my games are modded in some way - and I am more likely to buy a modding friendly game over a non-freindly one. Why cannot you enjoy playing a game and modifying the said game? I do that all the time, in fact I often spend more time modding than I do playing.
  11. Heh, that's what I was going to post.
  12. Fighter of Confidence The Heaven Improvement Inferno Hope The Unfortunate Sacred the Ultimate Blessed of Tank Beam of Archon Explosion the Killer The Ornament
  13. Yeah, I just found my copy, although I would buy it again if it did come out in another format* - if only to show support for the game. *Provided it was not too expensive.
  14. You might want to try the Intel chipset fix, I'm sure someone has a link to it handy.
  15. Hey Darth Windu, did the Beta Testers sign a nondisclosure agreement or in any other way formally sign a contract that would prevent them from distributing the unfinished modification? If not, seeing as how the available beta was not stolen but was, instead, simply distributed by a tester, I cannot see how the file is, to quote you, "illegal."
  16. American McGee's Alice - great game, I'm looking forward to his American McGee's Grimm and, if it ever gets made, a remake of Alice and/or the game inspired film.
  17. I assemble the, now clean, parts and put the weapon back into its carry case - now I better return it to the museum.
  18. *Well, since Pixies did not like my idea -id est me posting as myself- I guess I will come up with something else that is more "normal" and "everyday."* I decide that I might as well go out to a bar to get a drink, but then think better of it and spend the time cleaning some items that are laying around the house.
  19. Well, my Great Grandmother passed away this afternoon due to a bowel rupture (she elected not to have emergency surgery and instead was administered pain medication -morphine- until she expired). I am not really that torn up about it, I mean she lived about a century and had a very good life*, and I am glad she was not in any distress at the end of her life. In other news, I had a great time at a friend's party tonight and arranged to have dinner with an attractive female of my acquaintance next week. *And she even had an love-affair from about sixty to ninety (she met an old high-school boyfriend and they both fell, or rather, re-fell for each other), when he passed away.
  20. Oblivion - 30 Seconds to Mars
  21. I am at my laptop, at this forum, and contemplating what I should do next. The top two at this time are getting something to eat, maybe the leftover eggplant parmesan, or playing Rome: Total War.
  22. I found the plans for several American Civil War vintage landmines - they look fairly easy to make considering I have a welder and forge at my disposal and could be useful in the event of an apocalypse. Of course, I would not build them until after there was a need, as landmines are really not something you want laying around the house.
  23. I was not interested in the game anyways, although I do hope they continue with the Total War series.
