To me, Doom 3 was an overly-hyped, boring, FPS that was more likely to put the player to sleep than make him, or her, scared.

Ok, have you tried making the game use only one of your two cores? If not, do that. Also, the 8X00 seres has problems with KotoR II for some reason - so tweaking the driver settings might also be useful.

Try manually deleting the both files and the registry entries.

The 8X00 series has some issues with Kotor II, try tweaking or changing your drivers.

So you enjoy using a controller more than a mouse, that still does not make the controller a more effective piece of equipment.

Humm... I might look into your mod - although I will not be able to do anything until school gets underway and the first round of tests are completed.

The Lives of Others Getting back to the other topic at hand, the movie looks interesting but does seem to lack the plot development that other comic inspired movies have had. Still, I like the anti-hero aspect of the character.

I've got to go on a vacation with the rest of the immediate family, argh. I would really prefer to simply stay put and get ready for the upcoming semester - oh well, at least I will have my laptop and the few games that are still on it. Edit: ****, I just checked my e-mail and found out that my little sister is probably going to need emergency sugary next week to remove a misaligned screw from her foot that was left over from a previous one - I had hoped that the aforementioned vacation would fall through, but not like this.
