  1. I have concluded that I should move to New Zealand, as Shryke seems to be almost perpetually drunk and never far from a lady.
  2. LucasArts must have given them the go-ahead.
  3. Yes, but that does not mean that you are not penalized for those actions. Your post hoc proctor hoc logical fallacy -id est, the game has X in it and thus X is caused by the game- is deeply flawed, as is your understanding of the games themselves. Edit: Also, why did you not respond to my post about JFK Reloaded?
  4. That is still a better description of it than what you are pushing.
  5. Or you can evade them and lay low for awhile.
  6. And here I thought the goal was to make money in a sandbox world...
  7. And all of those games penalize you for that act in some way, so it is not like they are encouraging the killing.
  8. Please provide some proof to back this up, not that the actions of one small group -that would have probobly done similar acts even if they had not played the game- should get a game banned. I did not know the focus of the Grand Theft Auto series was mowing down innocent civillians, not that I like the games or have played any of them for more than a few minutes - so I might very well be mistaken.
  9. Really? Oh well, I really didn't look into it that much before posting.
  10. My PCs are crying inside, I guess I really will need to upgrade soon - damn all these graphics...
  11. The target audience for GTA includes a lot of stupid immature kids whose parents don't care what they do with their time. The buying audience might, but I doubt they were who the game was designed for.
  12. Why would that disturb you? Personally, I found the "game" well done but boring -although it was interesting to create "what if" scenarios-, but that is ok for it was never intended to be entertaining; it was created to help put an end to conspiracy theories. As for the action of shooting, I found it little different from playing Sniper Elite -the two are surprisingly similar, although the latter is much more fun- although I do prefer killing Nazis to shooting Presidents.
  13. Bull****. For example, I might have played JFK Reloaded, but that does not mean that I fantasise about assassination - your logic smacks of post hoc proctor hoc to me.
  14. I'm not sure the game portrays murder as "fun and socially acceptable."
  15. The mounts only got added post-Wyvern Crown of Cormyr though, right? The 1.69 patch added them to the main game I think, although I have not tried it yet to see if this is true.
  16. I downloaded several new browsers including Safari and Opera, although I only kept the latter.
  17. Incorrect, it fits neither of those categories as it does not harm or aid the host. Instead it is an example of commensalism (I think that's how you spell it ). I wasn't.
  18. Those are already around, although I'm not sure where you can find them now that PCGAMEMODS.com is gone.
  19. I think he, or she, simply made a mistake - the other posts don't seem spam-botish.
  20. Kill 'em all and let God sort them out? I like that! I like it too. I do not, and I hope both of you are being sarcastic.
  21. I often try to borrow games from a friend before I buy. ... Grey area... Very grey area... LOL Well... I'm not opposed to gray.
  22. Some games are designed to have triggers fail on illegal copies, although I do not know if KotoR II did this.
  23. Just to make sure, you do have a ligament copy of the game, correct?
  24. Kill 'em all and let God sort them out? I like that! Well, that was once the view of the Catholic Church.
