  1. I might still have the fix, if so I'll try to upload it later.
  2. Have you tried running the game on only one of your four cores? If not, see if that helps. Another thing you could try is older drivers, if there are any for that card, as some of the newer releases have conflicted with Kotor I/II and NWN I.
  3. Yeah, that was the London delegation - not as good as I was expecting, but still reasonably ok. However, did anyone else think that the pop-star, whatever her name was, who sang was lip-syncing?
  4. Well, personally, every person I know offline who calls themselves a "fan" of Kotor is against the MMO...
  5. Propaganda bot?!
  6. Here's a little something to help you if you need it, and, yes, I dislike people who try to make you pay extra for things that are already on the disc and in the game. Anyways, I thought it was a much better game then some people made it out to be... Jericho_Unlocker.zip
  7. Mother Earth - Within Temptation
  8. Bah, I didn't really like the closing ceremony myself - and I missed the opening so I cannot comment on that.
  9. Ok, maybe the third time will be the charm... Anywho, I cannot understand your posting, could you maybe try again?
  10. Yeah, well, I think the vocal majority want it not be a MMO too...
  11. I have yet to play any recent games that have any major limitations on the amount of saves; must be a PS3 thing... Incorrect, there are several regularly occurring opponents who have unfindable armor unless one modifies the game to make the said NPCs drop it.
  12. Your loss, the best games of all time are, for the most part, PC exclusive. The mouse and keyboard are the most effective controls for almost any type of game - with the possible exception of button-mashing fighting games such as Mortal Kombat. The X-Box 360 is not a PC. Only for X-Box Live, something that is not on the PC for obvious reasons. [Edited by SteveThaiBinh to remove unconstructive comments]
  13. What the ****? You really think I'll buy it straight away if the game looks bad? Feel free to waste your money, but I have some standards and BioWarEA is going to have to live up to them if they want the full amount of monies. As for "being starved" I'll just replay the classics if I get "hungry."
  14. Well, I'm looking into pre-built systems too and they work out to only about one hundred extra dollars, so I'm unsure if I should build or buy (I'm going to be starting classes Monday and it sure would be nice to simply open a box and plug the PC in). I'll double check tomorrow and post more information for people to consider. Also, if you have any good build ideas for about ~$1,000 - $1,500 that are comparable feel free to recommend parts, etc. - although I do like the GTX 260 and the E8400.
  15. Arggg... So far Dragon Age looks like something worth picking up after it falls in price and not when it first comes out, if at all.
  16. Well, firstly, I will need to know what Data Protection Scam BiowarEA is planing to force upon their buyers this time round. If it is anything like what they using for Spore and Mass Effect they can keep the crap - I'm not paying full price for a rental copy, in fact I would probably not pay anything for it as that would support something I loath. Anyway, about the romances, I would have to agree that most CRPGs have extraordinarily bad ones; although this does not have to be the case. As another poster pointed out already, there are plenty -well, at least a handful- of third-party modifications that contain well written and constructed trysts and relationships. That said, I would not expect major game studios to produce any unless the overbearing hype about virtual sex -even if there is either none directly featured in the game or "on camera"- calms down among the social conservatives and liberals who are trying to get on the "games are evil" bandwagon.
  17. Yeah, I'm glad they banned him - there's really no excuse for his actions.
  18. *shrugs* Better than having Oblivion as the gold standard. Not by much, judging from what I've heard about Mass Effect....
  19. Oh, yes, of course Mass Effect came up with that system - who else could have been that clever? Look, even the creators of Dungeons and Dragons went back in time and copied the game!
  20. Hellflower - Electric Hellfire Club
  21. No, I do not think that a fully-electronic Jedi, or Sith, would really be that desirable.
  22. What? You do not get all the items in Oblivion, only some of them. Well, as far as the first two Kotor games are concerned, you can mod all of those items into the game. Again, try modding if you want this in the first two games. Ok.... You do know that both of the original games let you do that, right?
