  1. The "Unofficial Patches" will change a lot of things that should not be changed, I would go with the "True Patch."
  2. Not really. Games like AoC are being ported to consoles and some MMOs are console only (although I cannot think of one off the top of my head).
  3. Someone hit my car with their car yesterday, I was rather displeased. Luckily, the damages were extremely minor.
  4. You could do that in Oblivion, and that game did not require a monthly fee to play it. In fact, that was also doable in both Neverwinter Nights I and II - although all three of the aforementioned games did encourage you to wear something when not playing a monk.
  5. You are correct, the monthly fee system needs to die an extremely painful death. Not gonna happen, unless you want to see MMOs dying an extremely painful death. A good thing?
  6. I would write something that broke the conventions of the Star Wars mantra -id est that the Lightside is always good and the Darkside always bad- although I predict it would bomb horribly.
  7. You are correct, the monthly fee system needs to die an extremely painful death. Not gonna happen, unless you want to see MMOs dying an extremely painful death. I would not mourn their demise, in fact I might even rejoice.

  9. Umm... No, Kotor III was in development at one time.
  10. Well, MMOs and "quality online experiences" tend to be exact opposites - if you truly want that try a small Neverwinter Nights I/II server. Huh? Obsidian did not make Baldur's Gate. Since World of Warcrap was also "less than remarkable," I cannot see what their problem is. Have you not heard the news about Kotor III? It seems that MMOs do pose a threat after all.
  11. You want another ****ty MMO?! Please keep your insanity to yourself, it is not wanted here.
  12. Some of them were good, but there were also quite a few that should never have been entered.
  13. That sort of sounds like the system they are using to transfer users from Guild Wars I to Guild Wars II.
  14. Hypothetically speaking, how many thousand do you want?
  15. I am going to break this to you as gently as I can, I do not give a flying **** what the reviewers said about the game. If I did I would laud Halo 3 as the game to end all games. but I don't do that - in fact I do not like that game at all. If I believe something is bad, I am not going to think it is good - and no amount of "8.4"s is going to change that.
  16. They can take this MMO and stick it up their ass.
  17. ****ing hell, I do not want to see Kotor III released, or even developed as an MMORPG. In fact, I would most likely boycott other products if they made that decision, just as I am refusing to buy games that use draconian DRM scams.
  18. I would not purchase a MMORPG unless it offered free online play, id est Guild Wars I and II, and had the option to "solo" through the game. Sure, it may seem that these requirements defeat the purpose of an MMO, but that is exactly what I am trying to convey - I do not like MMORPGs and would rather play a single-player or small-multi-player game.
  19. Well, I missed a performance of Poe stories and poetry that I was going to go to tonight, well I guess yesterday night is technically correct, but that turned out for the best since the person I was meeting could not make it either. Luckily the show is on next weekend as well, so I'll take her to that one.
  20. None of the above, The Handmaiden is my first choice - followed by Visas.
  21. Lara Croft: Tomb Raider - not a bad movie.
