Amphetamines and methamphetamines are two different things (amphetamine use is rampant in the MLB). Some authors believe that using drugs helps them write better.

Well he sure did use drugs so much that he ended up not knowing what he wrote sometimes but according to his own words he used Bolivian marching powder, not acid. True story, Frank Herbert used amphetamines which is why his books got less and less coherent over the course of his life.

The map works well and you won't need a separate notebook, there is a lack of class reqs and other information until Cleve puts out a manual and/or the community info pooling comes together a bit more. Right now it's more like if you fired up Wiz7 but didn't have the manual, which can be fun in a trying different things way. Am I the only person who still uses a real spiral notebook when gaming?

DOS is almost the perfect co-op game, and the silliness actually enhances that because you and your buddy can goof off for most of the dialog.

Have you ever heard of Death by Cliché? Same genre, written by a guy who writes tabletop scenarios. Pretty good adventure comedy (lots of lovingly self deprecating humor about tabletop).
