What threw me was that many of the dancers were in full armor. Super sexy.

Torment: Tides of Numenera Released

I had no warning that it was even shipping. If I hadn't been on staycation I would've had to pick it up at the post office after work. -

I just recieved my physical copy (from the kickstarter). -
Were it possible, I would give you two thumbs up. One for the awesome game trailer and the other for the awesome gif.

Until you realize every asari (except for one) has the exact same face with slightly different color. Good luck in-seeing that, because once I noticed now it makes it impossible for me not to think of them all as the same character in different costumes.

I've read plenty of authors who can write excellent characters who don't share traits with the author, really just depends on the author's outlook. If he or she looks at their characters by gender first rather than by dominate personality traits, then the character usually endings up being a sucky spokesperson for their gender. Same goes with politics, religion, and sports (and I'm not even joking about that last one).

I read A Brave New World back in middle school. I don't remember much about it other than people freaking out and ostracizing a woman who gave natural birth because proper protocol was to use gene manipulation and grow the child.

Had a situation like this, but it was a newborn calf. Might've been my just deserts for calf-napping.

Yep. Pretty much the same thing.

In terms of bugs, its the worst release so far this year. Like, AC Unity levels of bugginess. Its no coincidence that MEA was released at the end of March; EA wanted a title out by the end of the first quarter.

The Andromeda initiative was apparently privately funded and built on the idea of finding a home for humanity away from the militarized Milky Way. They didn't know jack about the Reapers, they're just some idiots who topped off the tanks of their new ships and set off on a 634 year journey with no fuel up or maintenance breaks and then arrive to find only 2 of the five structures have arrived and act surprised.

That's what I meant when I said that the premise didn't make sense. The initiative makes as much sense as a suicide cult. At one point someone on the Nexus said something about receiving later new colonist and I laughed involuntarily. (First time I laughed at anything in the game.)

Finished Changes (Dresden Files), and whoa boy. I said earlier that I Jim Butcher hadn't changed up his formula for this series, but he certainly has now. Not that I didn't like the three to four books prior, but this new 'compilation' was really needed to keep the series fresh.

To be fair, with the exception of guy Ryder (these Ryder jokes practically write themselves and never get old), none of the human faces look good. It's not just the women.

About half of the first game's quests involved zombies of one kind of another, so really nothing new I think that comment was more a reference to how those faces might provoke a "Jesus! F***! Kill it with fire!" reaction in those when first confronting them. She was supposed to be a living, human NPC but she looked like a cheesy zombie.

The environmental graphics are amazing, but the faces are bad on a level I've never seen. I kept an open mind (despite the bad animation) right up until an lady NPC spun around from a computer console (about three hours in) and my immediate impression was that Mass Effect just turned into a zombie horror game.

I’ll be the first to admit that when you’re down on the surface of the planet with a gun in your hand the game has moments of brilliance, but its brought down by convoluted systems (crafting is a four step process; find minerals and scan them, find old tech and scan it, return to the ship and use research points from scanning old tech to research schematics, then go to the crafting window to craft the item using materials found), awful bugs, and straight up crap that they just forgot to program (absence of the options to quick save at all and manual saves turned off during main quests aren’t intentional game design, but oopsies). The worst part is, from what I’ve been hearing all the crap they oopsed are unlikely to get patched in later. If you just have to play this game I highly advise you to wait a couple of months to iron out bugs and see if (hopefully) some of the missing features get added into the game, but mostly because I think EA is going to pull a Titanfall 2 and cut the game price down within the next three months because it’s not reviewing as well as they’d hoped.

Oh boy. If you enjoy MEA, more power to you. I've looked it up and MEA had a 40 million dollar budget. In this day and age 40 mil for a full 3D open world AAA game is a shoestring budget (unless you're doing copy and paste stuff like Ubisoft). This title was an after thought to BioWare and in everything but the combat it plays like it.

I honestly think this game deserves to get hammered. Talked to a reviewer and the lack of quick save option or to manual save during the main quest line aren't features, just screw ups. As are the heads being rendered too large on NPCs heads, as is your visor not interacting with environments, pop-in etc, etc, etc. BioWare literally handed off their flagship IP to some complete newbies and tried to have the A-team fix over the last month in a desperate attempt to fix all the problems. Mass Effect: Andromeda is the Assassin's Creed Unity of Mass Effect. Most of these problems aren't getting patched, guys.

As I said in the comment section of that same video, wait until Nexus gets ahold of the game. One of the first mods to come out for any BioWare game are the "everyone is bisexual" mods.
