  1. That's why its best to assume direct control.
  2. What isn't funny about Bethesda quality shadows?
  3. If that took place in the US the video would've only made it to youtube if it was exceptionally cringy or if someone came flying in off camera to dropkick him. I kinda wish it was recorded in the US.
  4. I felt that the squaddies had plenty to say but I just didn't care. Except for Kello, Vetra, and Drak, all the other shipmates didn't really work for me. Most of the time it was because of poor first impressions (PeeBee, Liam, and Suvi).
  5. ^ 5:56, the moment to realizes that you aren't voicing a BioWare title.
  6. No, it's pretty much one of the purely in game engine , still in the usual walk around way. You just happen to have the dialogue wheel opens up when you click on the npc standing there. There's a bunch of those "minor" npc conversations like that that never actually take you into a zoom in on the faces conversation mode. The most alarming part of the conversation is how she describes her old job as filling test tubes.
  7. Take a breath, least your face grow tired.
  8. Go look at this conversion. What caught my attention was her description of her prior occupation.
  9. For all BioWare apologists out there, there's a rumor going around that EA gave BioWare permission push back the release, but BW declined. These rumors gain traction when you see all the stories back in November talking about EA considering pushing back the release.
  10. Aside from geometry gaps and quest breaking bugs, this was the single most important thing to fix. Next up UI and menus.
  11. When the bag falls off and you see the bits that look so horrible they completely spoil the experience, pulling out and running away seems like a natural reaction. ... Not sure why would you watch the rest on Youtube tho. Some people like to watch. No judgment.
  12. Honest Trailer did MEA. They usually go for funny hyperbole, but settled for the dissapointing truth.
  13. I will be shocked if half the things on that list get fixed within six months, let alone in a couple of patches.
  14. The single player doesn't help because it teaches players that they're one man armies do to inadequate options to coordinate with squadies.
  15. Offensive magic and hand-to-hand.
  16. Inspired by the portrait pack DLC, I've decide to do a Tyranny let's play as Rita Repulsa (I was a 80s-90s kid).
  17. @melkathi There are tons of portrait packs on nexusmods that can easily be added.
  18. Dude deserves a lifetime achievement award.

  20. Dare I even ask what you consider a manly game?
  21. A deathmatch style turnment would end with Kryros vs Godhammer. Godhammer wins. And everyone dies.
  22. It was like that in the original trilogy too, I believe. But they just seemed to have a lot more to say in those games. I had the opposite impression. In ME:A everyone seems to want to tell you their life's story just after somehow making themselves a part of your crew. ME1 had a little bit of that, but in ME2 the writers stuck to tried-and-true tropes so the player doesn't have to spend 45 minutes talking with them to feel like they can understand who the character is and what their motivations are. And I'm saying that as some who vastly preferred ME2 to anything in ME:A.
  23. As much as I'd like to blame EA, this game has 40 mil, a five year developmental cycle, and it honestly looks like many of the in world assets are reused from DIA. How much money and time does should it take to make this game? For any normal studio I would expect the title, as it stands today, to need another year to get it into a playable state but with these guys it might take two and a half. With all they had going for it, BioWare should've settled for the level and game size of ME2 or 3.
  24. Until you realize every asari (except for one) has the exact same face with slightly different color. Good luck in-seeing that, because once I noticed now it makes it impossible for me not to think of them all as the same character in different costumes. That's actually kind of a problem for all the ME games...and for all races, actually. The party members of those alien races look unique enough, but everyone else looks more or less the same outside of a few minor exceptions. It was a problem in ME before hand. I've only met a couple of Asari and one or two Turians so far in ME:A and they seemed distincter to me in there than in ME1-3. Sorry but i'm going to call bull on that, Asari faces had at least 4 or 5 different models in the original trilogy. Andromeda is literally the same face model...and it's not a good looking one, looks like a pudgy ceramic doll. ^ Gets it. Saw a gif where there are something like six asari walking together and they all as the same default face.
