  1. Sounds kinda like more recent BioWare.
  2. Definitely going to play the cult faction. All praise mutation.
  3. This was the thread that finally helped me decide to put ol' Sonic on my ignore list. Thanks for the necro.
  4. Since no one else spoke up, I'll take credit.
  5. Is this catching? 'cause I think Brady must have some too.
  6. Wait . . . my Jets won two games in a row? This was not foretold.
  7. But I thought the Endless Paths was the sequel.
  8. Rudolph was having a terrible night. Real late in the 4th, backed up inside their own 30, down 2 TDs, on a 2nd (or was it 3rd?) and long the Steelers called a screenplay. Garrett made contact with Rudolph before he released the ball but kinda knocked him to the ground with Garrett on top (it was pretty gentle for NFL hits and it definitely wasn't late). Rudolph in a fit started yanking at the back of Garrett's helmet while they were still on the ground. And then things got real stupid with Garrett retaliating by yanking Rudolph around by the facemask to rip his helmet off and then hitting him with it. One of the offensive linemen (can't remember the name) was pulling Garrett away and once they were both on the ground Maurkice Pouncey started punching and kicking Garrett. (Pretty sure the first OL's thought process was to get Garrett away from Rudolph while he had that helmet in his hands, then Pouncey thought they were having a good ol' curve stompin' when he jumped in.)
  9. Presumably Mississippi 'cause it comes next in territories to join the Union.
  10. Just saw the end of the Steelers Browns game. That penalty at right before the end was one of the dumbest things I've seen in the NFL in while. They got Myles Garrett and Maurkice Pouncey with penalties, but they should've thrown one at Mason Rudolph for trying to rip Garrett's helmet off too. All three should've been kicked out of the game.
  11. My guess is they pitched the idea while talking to Microsoft a year ago, got the okay and it's been in pre-production ever since. I don't foresee it being very far along in development.
  12. While not a whole game, I do have a code that'll get you 10% off the season pass for Phoenix Point. 1) This doesn't include the base game. 2) The email says nothing about an expiration date for the code/coupon. 3) Yes, its for Epic Store (I would apologizes for that, but I don't own or make business decisions for Snapshot Games, so ). If you're interested, PM me.
  13. Usually its for me, but I did immediately start a new game after finishing (though I am now using a mod that turns off most of the HUD).
  14. ^They didn't even mention Elk state.
  15. Kingmaker was more successful due to its lower budget. I've seen no evidence that it actually sold as well as Deadfire.
  16. That's funny, my copy hasn't updated in months, same as my copy of Deadfire.
  17. Its a weapon mod.
  18. I did everything but one quest and it took me 35 hours, which is a good time for an rpg. In fact, a decade ago 35 hours was around the industry standard for rpg run times.
  19. Finished The Outer Worlds. Took me about 35 hours. There was only one quest I didn't do (because it was the most tedious in a game that otherwise had great quests). It didn't really do anything new or surprising; TOW is a great example of a game that executes really well on what it sets out to do without having to lean on being different or new or subversive to standout. Really liked the game. I'll probably play it again in the future, but not for a couple of years.
  20. Code Vein sounds kinda like Ashen. Ashen also has an AI companion that's really good and makes the game much easier.
  21. Pretty sure the fee is for private servers only.
  22. Ya gotta love it when they take an English adjective, slap an 's' on the end and use it as a plural noun.
  23. Huniepop 2 is due late this year early next year. Jus' sayin'.
  24. Wrapped up Jade Empire yesterday. I forgot how bad the combat was. Halfway through I shamelessly turned the difficulty down to easy and started demon frog strong attack spamming just to get through the fights. There were a several of quests I didn't do. One quest wasn't available to me because I didn't have the right 'alignment', another because I didn't want to do the flying mini game, and then I got in too big a rush to wrap it up the main quest to do all of Lord Lao's Furnace so Kang's personal quest wasn't finished. I played Open Palm; the only other time I finished JE I played Closed Fist but aside from getting Death's Hand as a follower and siding with Sun Li, there wasn't as much difference as I thought there would be. Thankfully, JE is blissfully short (both times I've played it took me less than 25 hours and that's doing all or most of the content). Liked it a lot, but it'll likely be another 7+ years before I replay it. Oh, and Dawn Star is best girl, of course. Other than that, I returned to my New Game + of Trails of Cold Steel 2 (PC). ToCS 3 is due to come out in North America for the PS4 later this year. If the timeline for 1 and 2 releases are anything to go off of, that means they'll get ported to PC sometime in the next year and a half. I'm waiting for that to happen 'cause I ain't buyin' a console just to play the nest Trails game, despite how much I love the franchise.
