  1. I've saying they should be the Washington Robbers.
  2. This looks to be the best expansion so far. Day one purchase for me.
  3. Let's be honest. It's a government job. You can't get fired.
  4. Evertime I hear Laura Bailey's voice I think of, "wolves hunt in packs."
  5. The children get the benefit of a healthy beating daily, I hear.
  6. I caved and reserved one--had to get in before scalpers. I love handheld consoles. At one point I had every Nintendo handheld (I still have 2 DS's, a 3DS, and my Switch). They say it's basically a mini computer so I'm gonna try to download GOG Galaxy onto it and see if that'll let me play from that library, too.
  7. ^One of my all time favorites.
  8. I had a pet raccoon as a child. By 'pet' I mean he ate our garbage and I named him (Mr. Wiggum).
  9. Yeah, the creeper quests were weird and very uncomfortable. Shame just about every side quest is a creeper quest.
  10. Today is also my nephew's birthday. No, I'm not the uncle of Uncle Sam. If I were I'd made sure his mama did a better job of disciplining him.
  11. Fair warning, that's the early access release date. Official full release is still TBD. I'm honestly surprised the pandemic didn't kill this game like it killed Realms Beyond.
  12. From what we know Microsoft and Obsidian were talking for close to a year, which would put them just months after Deadfire's release and avowed was a part of their pitch.
  13. Preproduction work for Avowed began almost immediately after Deadfire in 2017, two years before The Outer Worlds released. So it's farther along. I suspect that they won't go take the budget approach to TOW2 like they did in 1 (I think there's a good chance they try to implement NPC AI and scheduling and some other more difficult stuff to make the world feel more alive). I wouldn't be surprised if Avowed has a sneaky 2022 release, though I'm thinking 2023 is almost a lock. I doubt TOW2 is closer than 2024.
  14. I played and enjoyed both but strongly disagree with this. POE had a better plot that made more sense, with better dialog and companions despite having almost twice as many. POE oozes atmosphere and sets a tone that for most players lasts longer in their memories. Combat was smoother and the difficulties felt better than deadfire's vland ballooning of stats with increased difficulty. Character progression was also smoother. The only thing I'd agree with is items.
  15. Looks like Falcom bought the fan-made mega translation for Trails From Azure and Trails To Zero so the entire series will officially be out in English.
  16. Sorry for the necro. I was looking over the latest for Josh Sawyer's paper rules and saw that it is class based with a backdoor option to be classless. Upon character creation you pick either one or two power sources and you can use abilities that utilize that source. The back door is player created abilities. I now think this is were Avowed is going. They'll have classes and the option to duel class with some kind of in game system to allow players to use or make new abilities, kind of like Watcher abilities but maybe customizable.
  17. I was just about to post this. Darn you. I will have my revenge in this life or the next or my name isn't Sir William Wallace.
  18. Shaggy is the reason for the phrase, "don't smoke what you deal in."
  19. I've been playing a ton of Low Magic Age. I finished the main quest (tutorial) a long time ago and I'm mostly taking my team from dungeon to dungeon adventuring. In more than 30 hours I only had one death. It helps that they're so high level now. I can't wait for the full release of this game though that's probably years away as there's only one guy working on it.
  20. Missed DA2 in there, too. So three directly in a row.
  21. With my Axis Football save gone I will have to begin my plans for league domination anew.
  22. My Jets had a good draft. The two 'safeties' are going to be linebackers in this defense. Joe Douglas might've outsmarted himself with the trade up to 14. True, he really only gave up a 3rd but Minnesota took two really good offensive linemen with 23 and the first 3rd they got from the Jets. They've had a really good offseason which is weird 'cause I'm so used to ripping them for making too many splash moves for players who can't contribute. Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure Aaron Rodgers will at least temporarily retire. I get the impression that he was sufficiently unimpressed with Love in practice last year that he feels comfortable holding the team hostage like this. Side note: 16 seasons is the magic number for GB quarterbacks. Bart Star, Bret Favre, and now it looks like Aaron Rodgers all left after their 16th season with the team.
  23. Finally got my PC fixed. I had to wipe one SSD and lost all my save games.
