Yes we were/are. Many of the Baldur's Gate mod tools were intimidating to the person who didn't know anything about it. Those who succeed were those who adapted and learned to use them. Hell there's even a DOS based tool called Weidu, which is great and far more functional than some of the GUI editors.

Going on two years, I would imagine this person has solved their problem or started a new game.

Starting a new game is your friend. Since you are on Telos, you are not that far in the game. An even bigger friend is not messing around with cheats that disrupts the game.

It just takes time to read the tutorials, experiment on making simple things, read the tutorials, make harder things, read the tutorials. Did I say read the tutorials? The best way for me to learn is to read, read and read some more. Make something simple, progress from there. Its how I learned to mod the Baldur's Gate games with the fan made tools. They're not that hard once you learn to use them correctly but they can be intimidating for someone who doesn't know at first.

And it won't cost Obs a dime either.

Since we are discussing the patches, why is 1.04 a beta? How can a patch be a beta, it's either done or it isn't. If it isn't done than it should not be released to the public.

Quite logical if you think about it. Those that can cause you the most harm emotionally and/or physically are those who know you well, be it a close friend or family member compared to a total stranger. Therefore you would keep them very close to you than an enemy who does not know you well enough to inflict such damage upon you.
