  1. I conspired to mislead you.
  2. And to be fair, my warning was not "official". More like a warning to a warning. At least thats how it seemed to me. :">
  3. Onur is powerful. I received a warning yesterday and my post was modified because I hinted that he/she may be a conspiracy theorist which he/she is or he/she is playing that role. But I didn't mean it as an insult at all. Oh well. " To Fio: xoxox
  4. Has anyone here, including Onur, actually clicked that link? It's a spoof of all those pics used to "prove" the moon landing was a hoax. To poke fun at the conspiracy theorists. I thought the little furry moon aliens gave it away. Why is everyone serious? I hope my sarcasm detector is off or defective...
  5. Wow. 100$ million for a 9 hour movie. Not bad at all. I prefer to look at it like that. :">
  6. Firstly, that is the most ingenious reversal of reality I have read in a long time! Secondly, that presupposes that the "console QA" team is better and/or more diligent than the PC QA team. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Firstly, we are derailing. " Secondly, anyone can presuppose anything but I never said PC QA was crappier. PC games are not subjected to certification before release, console games are. That is all that I said but I admit to presupposing you know what certification testing is and you are aware of LucasArts' track record when it come to certification(It does'nt seem to matter for them, their games are certified even if too buggy. Somehow.). To still be on topic, I enjoy Lego Star Wars 2, even with some game stopping bugs as I don't mind resetting my console because the games saves often enough that I don't lose to much progress when doing so.
  7. Sorry. I linked them to make a point about conspiracy theories, which this thread is about.
  8. They do when coming from LucasArts. " But in general, console games have a lot less bugs than PC games. First because they can't be patched(some players don't have access to internet and the QA process is, in theory, more rigorous) and second because the certification is passed only when the product in is a specific condition and/or state which includes but is not limited to the absence of game stopping bugs, crashes or any problem that requires a reset of the console.
  9. I'm playing it on PS2...
  10. I never watched Loose Change. But I do remember, vividly, explosions in both towers, below all the damage done by the planes, seconds before each of them fell(15 minutes apart). I'm not saying they were bombs. I'm saying I haven't read or heard anyone explain those explosions, except from what I've read and heard from Loose Change. Maybe it was gas leaks and the explosions were the things the Towers needed to fall. I don't know and I don't see why I should care. They are destroyed and almost 3000 people died. And there are no reasons to believe they would not all have died from asphyxiation anyway, as no one could get to those above the points of impact in time. Conspiracy theories are built around a lack of information. Something seems out of place and is unexplained fast enough to prevent people from speculating. Why is area 51 so "secret"? Maybe because it's a military installation, researching and developping weapons and technologies and it would be harmful to the security of everyone if, by revealing what is being done there, the enemies, always watching our great media, could either develop the same things or find ways to defend from them? The problem here is the "Maybe". Thousands of people fill that "Maybe" hole with whatever seems logical to them. Meh.
  11. It does have a lot of bugs. In the first hour of play we crashed it 2-3 times(froze, had to reset) and there are some areas where things that are supposed to appear do not, like a bridge on Dagobah, and then a reset is needed.
  12. Saddening. But one can easily figure out that after the storyline is pretty much over. I thought they were telling the story of . Too bad.
  13. I know but it feels like we've been waiting for 19 months already.
  14. Bloodlines is not just buggy. It's boring(sorry Dark) and combat is less exiting than grocery shopping. Only the haunted mansion is worth experiencing and character creation is decent.
  15. After watching the trailer a second time I realized it is not anti-American propaganda at all. Maybe pro-christian propaganda. Maybe not. Meh. I'll rent it. EDIT: P.S. I wrote "ounce" in French. Sorry. :">
  16. A friend sent me this link about a documentary being released soon. I find it quite disturbing as it seems to me that we are preparing to do what "our enemies" have been doing for years. I also can't help to think it is another anti-American propaganda film but if it shows an once of truth shouldn't everyone see it? What do you think about this film?
  17. Lego Star Wars 2, Neverwinter Nights Diamond and Legend of Kay.
  18. I loved it. Me and my wife we finished story mode this weekend and we both enjoyed it a lot. It's a bit easier and shorter than the first but we both thought it was much more fun. The Hoth level was fine once we figured out how to use the bombs(we were using them to destroy any enemy) and the Endor level, with the speeders, is a blast. And the story is soooo much better than the first one!
  19. What would be the consequences of the moon landing being a lie. Let's say someone at NASA would confirm it, apologize and then resign. What else? Who the frak cares? [We really appreciate your lovely contribution to the community!] Oh yes! The linky was funneh!
  20. Hollywoodland. Decent detective drama, good acting(even Ben Afleck) and interesting story, well filmed. However since it is ultimately a speculative tale and it cannot actually tell us what happened to George Reeves with certainty, I felt let down in the end. I would've liked it better if the film had more guts and told us that he was wacked by a jealous producer or even tell us outright that it was a suicide. The movie gives us more information perhaps but in the end, no question has been answered and we are back to square one. The movie is useless, serving only the purpose of reminding us that George Reeves was once alive and possibly to sell more of the recently released DVDs of the first televised Superman.
  21. That is really great news. January isn't so bad for someone who's been waiting for the third season of Battlestar Galactica for what... 7 months now? With another one to go! Rome's production values are through the roof. It must be one of the most expensive shows ever made but it is really, really good. The lovey-dovey subplots are actually quite important for the overall story. It's not just a little love tale here and there. Where those relationships go will have serious consequences on coming events, most notably the season's truly fantastic finale. It won 4 Emmys and 2 Golden Globes with any "smaller" honors. It is as great and epic as its source material. Oh and I don't think anyone has mentioned Veronica Mars. Apparently it's very underrated but I've only seen bits of it. The teenage detective thing through me off.
  22. QFT
  23. Wow. Ain't that a major spoiler! No reason to watch it anymore. Oh no wait... Evangeline Lily!
