Frakking cool preview. Peter can paint!

I wonder how far in the future Future Hiro is from. His engrish is pelfect. Could it be that the symbol is there because all these people were made like they are? Does Mohinder have powers?

Something else about his: In the case of the cross and veil, they are not simple jewelry and clothing. They are first and foremost religious symbols. Of course a cross at the end of a chain around a neck is also jewelry and for many people(me included) only serve as a decorative item but in the case of a veil, it is rarely "in fashion" to wear them. I'm just saying that basing arguments on jewelry and clothing and dress codes alone is not all that credible. "

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> How come "Cox" works but not "****"? :D

Bubblegummy? I kinda skipped 20 minutes of it near the end where "teh conpiracy" thingy gets all serious. After that it was good again. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I expected Christopher Walken's character to have rigged the election so his "pony" could win. In the end though all is good, pink and fluffy, nobody dies, no price paid except for the "bad guys" of course who will probably only do a third of their sentence. Also we never know if a man like Tom Dobbs would make a good prez or not(I'm guessing not). How would a smart man of his character handle the war in Iraq for instance? "Bubblegummy" means too "all's well, ends well". In real life I really don't think it would end so nice.

Saw the Ginger Snaps "trilogy". Well, the first one in it's entirety and we skipped large portions of #2 and #3. There was nothing to see really. Very bad B-Grade movie making. At least the gore was decent and silly.

Taks did you even read the rest of my post?

Religion is a private thing and should be practiced in one's own privacy. I think all religious symbols should be removed from public places, unless it is a gathering of a religious group. There was a case here in Montreal a few years ago where a Sikh(sp?) boy needed to carry around a knife as part of his religion. It was not considered a weapon by his religion, only ceremonial in nature(and not for sacrifices!) and the blade was dull. It was a rather big debate, mostly because of the security risks but also because there was the question of the effect it could have for other religions as well. If we keep him from carrying around a kirpan(the knife in question) are we obliged to keep Catholics and Jews from also wearing their religious symbols? He was eventually allowed to carry the knife to school because no one of this religion would use the item in question as a weapon, much the same way no one thinks of sinking a pencil in someone's throat. I always asked myself what is the risk of someone else, let's say a protestant, from stealing the Kirpan and sinking it in a teacher's throat? So, I believe it's all or nothing. Either we allow everyone the right to fully express their religion, or we allow no one. Since, it seems, many who are offended by the exposition of religious symbols contrary to their own religion sometimes become violent about it, for safety's sake, I would prefer the second option.

Yes. That used to be me. I'm working right now. Monday mornings are a bitch.

Oblivion is rocking my world right now. I LOVE this game.

Man of the Year. I was pleasantly surprised although it gets a bit bubblegummy there at the end. It's the kind of role in which Robin Williams truly shines.

First, good call, LC! Second: Dammit for another fishtail ending! So Cylons dream now? Seems a bit easy no? Are they going to leave in exchange for Hera?

I played Neverend. In english. For about three hours. Then I uninstalled. You know when you eat a candy that is very, very sour, your face crumples up because you suck really, really hard on it because, somehow, you feel there may be sweetness inside? Thats how much Neverend sucks. First, it plays and feels like an adventure game. 2D hand painted background with 3D characters that look like they're floating. The combat is like JRPGs, as in your characters take turn in choosing actions, targets and confirm the attack, then you wait for the turn to pass. Everyone has a time bar and their actions only take place when the time bar is empty(like FF). Thats about it. Voice acting is horrible and graphics are ugly. controls are very awkward. You move with the arrows and there is no screen scrolling. When you get to the edge of the screen, the game loads the next one. Oh yeah and forget about free roaming. You must follow the paths. The only thing I "enjoyed" about it was the world map, or so it is called. To move between locations, the camera moves in a 90 degree angle above your main character and everything seems more 3D and it felt more natural. I also thought the game was somewhat difficult, feeding he frustration. I really hope you didn't pay 50-60$ for it...

So what do you recommend then? The Shield if I remember correctly?
-
Indeed. She was barely recognizable with her clothes on and no cussin'

Nobody's flamin' Jodo. We're just exchanging opinions. It's not like BSG is used by the US as a battle plan to invade France... It's just a TV show.

It is also easy to assume that since Syler takes the brains of his victims, it could be that powers are born of the brain or other organs. So, when Claire gets skewed in the head, she is technically dead. She wouldn't be on the autopsy table otherwise. But when her brain is "repaired", the power kicks in and she is fixed. For her specifically, mutilation means nothing it seems as she did say she can go through a shredder and come out unscathed. So I'm probably completely off on this. Meh. The show is still good. :D

His real name is Ben/Benjamin. Henry was a fake name he "borrowed" to inflitrate the Lostaways.

I just saw this on IGN. It's news to me, I didn't know. Is it good news? Meh. Somehow I got excited. :D

Maybe this is old news but still, a nice little piece of info. Oh yeah: GREATNESS!!!

I can't help but think of The Beach... It was wierd to see Trixie fully clothed and not swearing like a drunken sailor. Also, what does Benry want to do with the boat? Use it or destroy it? If he didn't know about the boat, did he know about Desmond?
