  1. I assume you patched it? It runs fine on my machine.
  2. First, I'm with Hassat on this. Second, the only law of nature is "Only the strong survive" which, when you think about it, is the same for humans. But we can change the word "survive" with "prosper", as the success of one's life is dependent on one's prosperity or financial success. And to be sucessful financially one needs to have certain strengths(of mind at least). Third, animals have a definite capacity to reason, to solve problems. If you ever own a dog, a cat, even a dumbass bird, you will observe this every day. Saying that animals are stupid is wrong. They have intelligence most definitely. I believe what made humans the top species on earth is imagination, not intelligence. Being able to imagine tools and how to make and use them for example. But thats just me. L@ter
  3. And yet, animals have no laws, they live in chaos and all is perfect. Why is that?
  4. Happened before... will happen again. Plenty of 65+ murderers wandering about killing folks... unless newspapers make up stuff... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Source? Statistics please. Just throwing a random statement with a vague reference to "newspapers" about hordes of senior citizens killing folks won't do. Same here. It is a rare case, unless you have some statistics to indicate otherwise. Recidivism at this age is uncommon, unless of course this paper (Canadian) "makes stuff up". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A few weeks ago, in the suburbs of Montreal, a man working as a daycare worker was arrested for breach of parole. He was a well known, multiple offense pedophile... Anyone that hurts children(I'd say under 13) in anyway(murder, rape, torture, abuse) deserves torture in my book. It is unacceptable and death for these offenders is too easy. I say feed them their own test1cles.
  5. Baley, I've seen Iron Monkey and all your choices(yes, even The Matrix! ) except Lord of Wu Tang. I may give it a try but I do prefer more serious films like Once Upon a Time in China or anything that studies the history of the Orient. I've seen many but most of them were the usual stuff that is shown in American theaters and I know there are others, more interesting Kung Fu/Martial Arts films out there. Are any of them not revenge stories?
  6. There cannot be laws without someone breaking them. Hmm. Then again, there cannot be criminals without laws...
  7. Following Baley's advice I watched Fist of Legend and, as you might know, Baley was right. I couldn't find the Chinese version so I had to settle for the english dubbed one. I didn't mind to much, the voice-overs were very decent compared to other translations. Does anyone know of other good and recent(post 80s) kung-Fu/martial arts films not starring Jet Li and/or Jackie Chan?
  8. What I didn't like about this premiere is that by the end, it's all back to normal. At first it seemed very interesting, the episode starts in the phantom zone. Clark meets some intersting people who will obviously be back during the season. I would've liked it if Clark could've found his way out on his own but hey, they must always introduce a new babe every episode, right? Overall I agree with ElNino 100%. The writers aren't allowed risks or even an ounce of originality, even with a season premiere. I don't care about Jimmy Olsen, at least not as much as I do for what was supposed to be the big fight between Superman and Zod. They copped out yet again.
  9. RooFLES! Another person from a society where there is insufficient variety of observable Chinese facial features fooled by the Chan look-alike! :D Don't feel bad or anything. I once thought Nicklas Cage is the same guy as Michael Douglas. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No really, when Kham arrives at the airport, someone bumps into him. They both stop, turn around to face each other, smile at each other for 2-3 seconds and then leave. It's Jackie Chan! By the way, Canada has MANY Asian citizens. We have many of everything except jobs and money(excluding Alberta). :D
  10. The Legend of Zelda: Seeds of Darkness.
  11. Don't forget lawyers... " That tattoo did not really belong on his forehead...
  12. I must've seen another version then. " The prayer scene must've been added(or cut for America) because I also thought his father was dead. Then they show us Kham and daddy(with bloody bandages around his waist/belly) walk in the "village" and participate in this ritual. It's very short, with a subtitle that says something like "Ceremony to help find Boa
  13. I remember Metal Gear Solid having a rather large amount of cutscenes, mixed in with some anti-nuclear weapon videos. And it was goofy, where you'd go from one cutscene right into another after walking down a hallway. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. I almost mentioned it too. But MGS, even with unskipped cutscenes, can be completed in a few hours (8-10). Xenosaga on the other hand, is over 20 hours long. When almost half of those hours are slent watching cutscenes or running around from one cutscene to the next with barely any battles in between I don't know... isn't it much worse? Proportionally though, MGS may have just as many of them. Meh.
  14. Any tip for the final battle? I can get to the second part of the battle with the twins but then they just clean the floor with my level 16 party.
  15. I see dead red exes...
  16. Can it be compared to Mutant X? If No then great. If Yes then **** it.
  17. FMVs for me are like little rewards. I love them most as intros and outros. The only game I've played that overdid them, for me, was Xenosaga 1 & 2. The second was much worse as most of the first disk is just you running around between cutscenes. I love the FMVs in the Final Fantasy games. For me, the perfect ending to a game is a long FMV, my reward for completing it. The one for FF7 was almost a half hour long and I love the little extra bit after the credits roll.
  18. French Canadian living in Montreal.
  19. The Protector Tony Jaa is
  20. Cliff Claven(John Ratzenberger) also "starred" in The Empire Strikes Back.
  21. It's out already?
  22. Yes but this thread is about Cliff. Cliff is dead, Steve still lives. When Steve dies we will pay hommage. Until then, Time marches on...
  23. I felt the same way about Superman 3. I remember loving it when I was a kid but watched it again last christmas holiday and it sucked so bad. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't hit me folks, but I think exactly the same way about Star Wars now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I won't hit you(only because you're out of reach) but I feel the complete opposite. Whenever I watch Star Wars OT I love it even more then I did in the 70s & 80s.
  24. I would like a FPRPG that looks this good. Like Wizardry 9.
